  1.   Looks Like every one who ripped this guy for posting thing has egg in there face.  Top knowledge.   SELL, SELL, SELL!!!!!!!
  2. I think you have to look at the gamble delia took in the first place to show how much of a fan she is, Ok she hasn''t actually lost money, infact I would expect that when we were in the premiership, those directors may have paid themselves a bonus, they would have atleast rgot back the monhey they put in. Also the turner have given the club a £2million ''interest free loan'' - if you caluclate a savings account of 6% then they could have earn £120,000 on that money else where.
  3. I don''t think the deal is done, it is my understanding that if any share holder wants to sell there shares, they have to offer them to the existing share holders first, meaning that they would have to send out a letter to all the share holders.
  4.   Problem with Doc is that is is an average championship Defender on a good day and the contract he is on goes back to when we signed him when we were in the prem. This would mean he''s probably on 10k a week (just an estimate)which would mean he''s probably one of the top earners at the club. Norwich can''t offer him a similar contract to what he''s on because for those wages you would expect to pay one of the best players in the championship, and he is not at that level & that''s why we have to let him go.
  5. Its always been the same, we never have put all the money back in to the transfer kitty, remember the chase days. When we sold Ashton only 1/2 the money went into new players(Earnshaw) after we sold McKenzie & Green went we only signed croft for £600k
  6. Doc is not really good enough as a first team regular and we have to remember that we signed him when we were in the premiership which means he must be on premiership wages and for that you would expect him to be one of the best CB in the league - which he is clearly not. I reckon he is holding out for the same money which would be a joke.
  7.   Off the pitch the best celebration I ever witnessed at carrow road was the famous 2-1 win over Ipswich when the penalty was given and then ruled out by the linesman A bloke was standing on the wall at the front of the Barclay upper jumping up and down, he was wrestle down by the stewards in the end
  8. Roeders First and only signing - do you think he was a good buy?  I think he is an avaerage squad player not worth £500k, especially with  Gorkss & Hoolahan available for the same money  Is this a sign of things to come, will it be the same as some of the over priced dead wood Worthy brought in. As for matty so far he has produced little to nothing but has only been with us a short while I can only give part judgment on him.
  9. Last season I worked out we sold players up to the value of £6.25m and only spent £2.5m (its so hard to tell these days with all this ''undisclosed fee'' business) Surely we must have some money to buy some half decent players, the loan player would have cost that much as they were youth players and nothing special (except Ched & possibly Bertrand).  Also Hucks & Dion would have been low earners, there wages will help us. I was think back to the time when we were first relegated from the Prem when we had an alleged £12m in the bank (which we did but Chase could help it that he ate double his weight in Pies every day, he cost more than ericsson to keep on the payroll).   Do you think money is there?
  10. Wages might be a stumbling block. He would be on least what Hucks was on if not more after the season he''s had & surely west brom have offered him a half decent wage being a prem club( Though I also heard he is holding out for a 2yr deal) You never know
  11.   A bit of a Trivia, both times Darrell Russell has left a club, they have won automatic promotion the following season.
  12. It seems to be a big problem in the last few years both worthy & grant unable to get in the players they wanted and having to settle for 4th or 5th choice players, thats quite obvious by the way the team has played. The problem is that most of the team or based around the midlands or london (with good road links) and as we don''t pay more than most it is an easy decsion for them, If a player moves from coventry to wolves the don''t have to move house, where as if they come to Norwich they have to upsticks, buy & sell a house, move kids out of schools and the Wags would nomally have a big say in it. Football has changed, it not about the glory, the fans, first team football, its all money and more & more an easy life style for players. Players will only come to Norwich if it is a step up in wages, have any connection to the club or are true to the game. These players seem few and far between, and we do not pay high wages.
  13. I also think it backs Roeders decision not to keep on Hucks as he physically needs more players, Huckerbys wages will go to helping fund the signing of these.
  14. With Huckerby gone and Doc & Fozzy yet to sign (or be offered one), I wonder what we are left with for next season. loking at the current squad we have just 11 players who have any sort of championship experience, and I question how many would start in other championship sides.                              Marshall Otsemobor   Shackell  Spillane           Drury Croft            Russell     Patterson     Chadwick                      Cureton   Martin Are things looking even bleeker for next season? will the board give any money to Roeder? Will Roeder succeed where worthy & Grant struggled in getting good players to come to the club?  Will he stay if there are little to no funds available? will it be another season of struggling with teenage loan signings expected to do the business?
  15. Help the canaries get into the league by play Norwich on http://www.playforyourclub.com/play03.php. we need as many people as possible to get us promoted. Ipswich I higher than us & we cant have that.
  16. Chase lost £12m - they maybe taking a leaf out of his book.
  17. The real truth 1. Why did we sign just one player in the summer when it was obvious the squad was woefully short on quality? We did try to sign players but we tried to get them on the cheap, which no one was willing to sell at.  2. As we are in the second year of parachute payments and sold Dean Ashton and Robert Green for six-figure sums, why has so little money apparently been available on new players? What you have to remember that we have always been a selling club and the board always takes a healthy cut of any tranfers fees earned it was the same when chase was here at the club. 3. Given the club has only has one major “saleable asset” in Robert Earnshaw, who could now be ruled out for several weeks, will the board be in a position to free up money for the manager to spend in the transfer window? It is a great shame that Robert has been injuried and the board will have to tighten or purse strings as we were going to sell him for £4m.  As to money available we have splashed out £300k on Roberts replacement, what else do the fans want  4. Peter Grant has hinted that a major reshuffle is needed. But can this be done when we have 13 players out of contract in the summer, none of whom will raise significant transfer fees? Unless players are going cheap or on free transfers, we will resign the players on low wages and hope that some youth players come through to become significant transfer fees 5. Despite rules restricting the players under the age of 16 who can be recruited, some clubs have seen youth team players break through to the first team. What has happened to our youth policy? This is a concern for the board as without players coming through we are unable to sell them for big transfers to finance or high life styles.  with new rules we now have a smaller catchment area alot of it is the north sea. 6. Attendances at Carrow Road are among the highest in the division and rarely fall below 24,000, whatever the opposition, and we had top-flight status just two years ago. Why is it so difficult to get players to come here or clubs, such as Arsenal, to agree to loan deals? simple. the loan players are on high wages and when they are on loan the club has to pay for them, we don''t want to pay them when we have players here already, sure they''re not as good but with us financing for the future, as long as we stay in the Championship we don''t care what 11 take the field. 7. Where has the passion gone from Norwich City players who earn thousands of pounds a week but many of whom don''t seem to be bothered about playing for the club? Starts from the top and as we the board aren''t that bothered it runs all the way down to the team, remember our run in the Premiership has brought in about £40m, which we have all taken a cut and set are selves up for life. 8. Is there a long-term strategy in place as regards the club''s ambition to return to the Premiership? If so, what is it? Not really, though if we get there again that means a big windfall for us, though we are not risking the cash we got last time.  You Know we could get lucky with bargin players or the youth team, that is if we don''t sell them first which is probably more likely 9. With season tickets soon up for renewal, prices up 3.6 per cent and performances on the pitch abject, why should the board expect fans to sign up for next season? 3.6% I know 0.6% above inflation, but we were rubbish last season and everyone signed up again, I don''t know what the fans are moaning about you get an extra 4 games in the championship.  10. Fans called for the dismissal of Nigel Worthington at a packed public meeting last season. Should the board have acted sooner and installed his replacement during the summer when he could have brought in his own players to get rid of him in the summer we would have had to pay a bigger settlement figure, we only got grant in because over a 2year period he is cheaper, we only pay him a 3rd of what worthy got, that why no other managers wanted the job.
  18. Last night was woeful. Worthy has done one of two things, bought in utter crap or made good plays rubbish players. BACK TO THE PROTESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 He must go!
