  1. I tried that but I only had a blue pen.
  2. Binners blahing again Nailed on offside but VAR man fell asleep.
  3. I think we could beat the Binners in the playoffs. Not so sure about Leeds.
  4. VAR would have picked the right frame.😉
  5. So you endorse my view that it is purely subjective and different people have different views. I thought the handball might be debatable although we have seen similar given this season. The other two I would have given. Contact in both cases and would be given as a foul anywhere else on the pitch.
  6. Sadly not. Unless fof course you think they digitally moved the players about on the frames they shew during the game.
  7. It's hard not to give merit to at least two of those three claims but that's just my honest subjective opinion.
  8. The point is that a line is drawn and one side of it you are on and one side you are off. Its really that simple. Even if you make a rule where you need at least 10cm of seperation you will still get instances where its nine and a half and people will still moan. Wherever a line is drawn there will be cases that are very marginal but its still either onside or offside, the distance is irrelevant. The fact remains that by the rules and the technolgy he was offside. It would have been a lovely story and we would all like to have seen David beat Goliath but it didn't happen. I think the Forest penalty claims are at least debatable and because we all have our own subjective viewon what is a foul, there will inevitably be different opinions. At least with the VAR offside we can see the lines.
  9. Its not debatable at all, you see decisions like this in the Premier League every week. Yesterday there was one just as close in the Fulham Liverpool game. In this case Jotta was narrowly onside whereas the Coventry player in the FA Cup match was narrowly offside. Unless you believe they are sorting out frames and drawing lines with which to manufacture a decision they want (which some people seem to believe), then you have to accept that there will always be close decisions that you may come out on the wrong side of.
  10. Would have been a nice story but the fact remains that by the laws in place he WAS offside.
  11. People only remember the bad calls that go against them.
  12. I doubt there is any covert corruption but refs are no different to anyone else in having favourites.
  13. Referring decisions will always be subjective. Having seen the Everton- Forest highlights its not hard to see why they feel done over.
  14. We had this argument over the Pukki goal but he was offside. I have no idea how they select the frame of reference but I doubt that someone is sifting through to make a predetermined decision. Ive just watched Forest get 3 penalty claims dismissed. I know its all subjective but they all looked fairly straightforward to me. Referring decisions will always be subjective, there's no way round it.
  15. Certainly looks different without his stilettos and mini skirt.
  16. Lots of emotional nonsense from the pundits.
  17. Nailed on imo. City are different class.
  18. The fact remains that it was offside. Disappointing for Coventry and neutrals but such is life.
