1. The Liverpool take on this was much funnier: Don’t blame it on Biscan, Don’t blame it on Hamann, Don’t blame it on Finnan, Blame it on Traore, He just can’t, he just can’t, he just can’t control his feet...
2. Classic post Ray D.  Very amused and laughing out loud!
3. Wiz - my earlier post was in response and amazement to the ludicrous post when you said the following: "As well you know Herb, for health reasons, I can''t make away games, thats why you tried to use it against me. I expected little else from you!" Of course I''m also disappointed with recent results and performances - however; as I do not get to as many games as I would like (living in Leeds and working in London), I enjoy reading this message board and taking interest in comments made by fans who either a) regularly go to games and/or b) seem to hold reasonably far, balanced and consistent views on the performances of the team and our manager. With respect, your posts do not usually meet with the afore mentioned criteria. Whilst I usually ignore your posts, I found the comment above so ridiculous and purile that I felt I must respond.  I already regret having done so and shall resolve not to get drawn-in any further with your childish and trivial debate.
4. See my previous post Wiz.  In particular the bit about hysterical, inconsistent, childish outbursts.
5.

So its in the blood is it Wizard? Presumably you will be making the trip to Tamworth like myself then? Whats that you say? No?
As well you know Herb, for health reasons, I can''t make away games, thats why you tried to use it against me. I expected little else from you!
That''s funny - I''m sure I remember you [Wiz] making cheap gags in respect of Heather Mills'' disability recently? Meanwhile, I think Herb''s post was more about him making an informed opinion (i.e. not hysterical, inconsistent, childish outbursts) rather than him making cheap mileage out of your medical condition.
6. I hear what you''re saying EH7 (and no one could blame him for wanting to further his career when things look as terminal as they do at FCR) however; the quote above is well above and beyond what''s necessary if he really wanted to move and it''s a far cry from what we''re used to, via-a-viz Ashton, Green etc, who made their positions clear by what they didn''t say!
7. "I''ve said always I love playing football here and it gives me great joy in going out there every week, so that''s what I''m going to keep doing, the longer the better." "I''m not looking otherwise until things happen, but I''ll be hopefully here at the end of the season." How refreshing is it to hear someone of Earnshaw''s undoubted ability and reputation quash transfer rumours and pledge his future to the club?   The ball is clearly in the board''s court.
8. Spot-on Marty... the defense battled well and kept us in it in the first half (i.e. when I posted the above comments).. things went from bad to worse in the second half and we looked dire.
9. .... has anyone seen our midfield!?  Good battling performance from our defense but so far midfield have gone missing... reckon they''ll be getting a rollocking at half time... just not trying hard enough.... Etuhu should be making his mark on this game....
10. I guess that Worthy will have known about Etuhu''s illness (a chest infection is pretty unambiguous) but given Hux''s hunger and desire to play every game, he may not have know about Huckerby... I''d like to think that Worthy would have rested a player that he knew had a groin strain! Personally, I would have risked left Etuhu in Norwich to rest. However, I''m more concerned and disappointed that Worthy/Hunter didn''t change tactics to reflect the fact we were away from home and that Leon was involved in preparing our opposition, esp tactics around 4-3-3. Predictably, Coventry''s tactics were to crowd-out our 3 attackers leaving us completely bereft of ideas... Given our back four have been playing so well, and given we were away from home against a team who have made a decent start, I''m surprised we didn''t opt for a more defensive approach to wrong-foot Coventry and hopefully come away with a point. Dare I say, we could even have pushed Doc upfront for the last 10 mins and played Worthy''s favoured long-ball!!!!
11. Have to say, I find it quite worrying that with 28 hours of the transfer windown remaining, our Chief Executive spent 14 of those hours in the back of a car! Appreciate Doncaster worked extremely hard to make the Cottaril deal happen, but as others have said, would have expected that we would have had other plates spinning. Perhaps a retrun journey via Milton Keynes would have been a good choice on the trip back from Cardiff!?!!
12. I really hope this is true... not just for reasons of the obvious, but because it would be a move that would suit both parties.Worthington''s come in for so much abuse over the last year and whilst he really didn''t cut it last season, the guy''s done a great good job for us overall and whilst it''s probably run it''s course, I would love to see him move on with his head held high, leaving us to bring in a new man to carry on developing the club with a proper coaching pedigree.
13. Some people have very short memories.  Francis did nothing from December onwards and lost all interest in playing for us once talk of a move surfaced in the January. For the second part of the season he was picked on former glories and absolutely did not earn his place. Further to this, he disrupted the team ethos and showed complete contempt for our club. Even during the early part of our Premiership season Francis was massively inconsistent and he was distinctly average the previous season. For me, if a manager like Paul Jewell wants him out, that only reaffirms my view.
14. Where can I read the Walker article!?    "I''d love it, I''d absolutely love it, if Walker came back" said in my best Kevin Keegan voice.
15.
I''d have him back in a shot too, we''ve never replaced him either!.
Wiz - isn''t this a touch hypocrticial, given yr the first to condemn any player who shows the slightest hint of wanting-away, let alone Francis, who showed blatant contempt for the club?
16. Think you were missing the point Dicky (again).  We were simply pointing out that your re-emergence on the board (after weeks of silence) was somewhat cringe-worthy.... (excuse the pun). I''m a big fan of Worthington''s, in the main, and whilst I''ve been frustrated over the past few months, I''ve largely backed the manager.  I''m delighted with Worthy''s recent performances and am hugely impressed by the Board''s loyalty and commitment.  We''re all delighted with the recent run of results... What I (and others) were trying to point out the other day was that when the going got tough, your silence was notable, then you make an immediate return after we''ve strung a few decent results together... such ficklenss hardly gives you cause to gloat!!
17. I think you''re right about the £8m ceiling but wrong about the fact that there are equally good players available for similar money.  Ashton is class.  He''s plied his trade predominately in the 1st Div/Championship, yet a couple of months in the Premiership and he nearly kept us up.  A year or 2 of playing with other international players and Ashton is going to be the finished article. He''s easily worth £10m of Newcastle''s money... an almost direct replacement for Shearer... I just wish Board would get off the fence and set their stall out by saying he''s not going anywhere for less than £10m.
18. My thoughts exactly - shame though coz a hungry Fowler with a real desire to prove his critics wrong would be a hell of a signing... coulda been a City legend.
19.
I haven''t bothered with this board for a while, being completely bored with the whingers, the Worthy out-ers, the Fleming is at fault for everything-ers, even the Delia out-ers. Came back on to have a look at the state of the board - seems like a lot of people have also decided to give it a miss, going by the lack of most of the (IMO) reasonable posters.
Oh dear Dicky...  I hope you don''t seriously expect any of us to believe that it''s a coincidence that you''ve decided to post (after weeks of silence) the day after a third consecutive win?  I applaud the loyality you''ve shown to Worthy et al, but surely you re-emerging on this board to gloat over the ''worthy outers'' is as fickle as 1st Wiz''s apparent (yet entirely predictable) hypocracy!?
20.
PS: Can we drop theWorthy Out avatars now please?, and end the divisions between the WO and the KTFers, we''ve all made our points now, lets just get united behind City NOW. Agreed?.
What a pathetic, hypocritical post.  Talk about sing when you''re winning (dressed-up as some sort of noble statement of integrity...)   Get behind City now?  Would suggest that any City fan with a modicum of integrity would be behind City full-stop.
21. Andrew Young - found your first post v. amusing... crystallised my thoughts perfectly!!   Personally, wouldn''t have bothered dignifying YC''s bait with a response
22. I''m almost certain Howard Wilkinson''s just stood-in for Worthington''s post-match interview - the cr@p Worthy''s just spouted is very worrying indeed.
23. I agree Herb, but I''m talking about subbing Shaks for Davenport at half time, when the world''s crying out for Flem to make way for someone with some pace, height and organisation....   I''ve got lots of respect for Flem, but just not convinced he''s the right man for the job at the moment.
24. Don''t agree Ronbol - people just get increasingly frustrated at Worthy''s persistance in making other players scapegoats... e.g. Shaks carrying the can, when it certainly sounds like Flem''s been off the pace (and not for the first time).. At 2-0 down I''d rather see two exciting young centrehalves be given an opportunity to gain an understanding of each others game...   BTW - thanks **** we''ve got one back... come on the boys.
