1.
shut up i will never want us to lose even if it means the board will be closer to leaving COME ON YOU YELLOWS
A joke I think, demonstrating how idiotic Smudger et al sound.  Made me laugh anyways so hope it was a joke!
 2.
I think people jumped to your aid because they are anti-Smudger and felt obliged to be ciritical of anything or anyone not the same.  Your original comment was not what all your defenders claim. Yes, railing is the correct word.  Smudger has been railing.  That you suggest the word is rallying tells me you have no idea what either word means.  Lack of suopporting opinion has left Smudger as anything other than a rallier.  Railing, as I used it, means he persistently goes on and on about it.. Your point exactly is ridiculous.  Last season and for years before that, the team has needed new ownership and new board members. There is was, and there it went. Has Cullum''s business collapsed since then?  If not, then that would make him an even better option than he was last year. That you wait until now to agree we need changes serves nobody any use.  If the current economic climate makes selling a team tougher, then shame on you for not realizing the painfully obvious long before. Smudger did, and you all think he''s a moron, so what does that make you?
I don''t think people jumped to my aid.  I think people understood my post.  I think I''ve made my points sufficiently well and, in any case, everyone seems to have understand my points, other than you. I do not intend into a trivial debate.  The fact is there are no benefactors waiting in the wings, as far as I''m aware.  Albeit I will happily be proven wrong.  I think the current economic outlook is very relevent.  (You''re in a minority if you don''t). In the meantime, I go back to my original post.... Smudger: Can you explain to those of us living in a bubble exactly what your strategy is for NCFC in the current economic climate?  Finally, as far as ''railing'' is concerned, you''re right.  It seems I don''t know what it means (other than a barrier/fence), thus my assumption that you meant ''rallying'' (as in ''calling people to action'').  Interestingly, ''railing'' is described in the Oxford Dictionary as ''fence or barrier made or rails,'' so I feel justified in my assumption.
 3.
People clarifying your poorly written first missive aside, there was at least one potential buyer just last season
The only person who needed clarity HC was you.  As for a potential buyer last season.... my point exactly.
 4.
Are you really that dumb....?
How ironic that you should suggest that I''m dumb HC.  Let me spell it out for you.  I''m suggesting that in the current economic environment (where banks and insurance companies are going bust, on both sides of the Atlantic and where Roman Abramovich is ''pulling his horns in'') that it is not as simple as sacking the board and appointing another lot. If you can''t see that, then perhaps you shouldn''t be so quick on the draw when calling someone else dumb. I''m well aware that Smudger has been rallying (not railing) for years about the need for new ownership.  What I''m suggesting is that there are no new owners in the offing - and on that basis, only a fool would wish that the club go into adminstration. I''m far from impressed at how NCFC has been governed over the last 4/5 years.  However, I''m not dumb enough to assume that we have any other options in the short to medium term.  Therefore, I''m interested to hear Smudger''s views on how administration would actually improve the outlook. Thanking you.
 5.
No wonder you live in a little bubble where the NCFC board finds it so easy to fleece you. Shame on you for sitting there waiting for 4 years for that bubble to go pop. Never mind when it does we will be there to build the club back up again from the mess that you have created.
Smudger You''re clearly some sort of authority on the management and governance of a football club.  Can you explain to those of us living in a bubble exactly what your strategy is for NCFC in the current economic climate?  You keep referencing what a positive effect relegation and administration would have on the club.  I think you are severely misguided but perhaps you could share what it is that you know that the rest of us don''t. Many thanks.   Richard
 6.
But he may go for free at the end of the season ...
I think it shows both his and the clubs intent that he hasn''t gone during the transfer window. If we get relegated or there''s no improvement then he prob will be gone in the summer but I''ll take what I can get!!!
 7.
Whereas I think opposite Leeds Yellow, I''m expecting others to leave.
God, I hope not..... with the exception of Croft, I don''t see who else we have to sell.  I think if the Croft sale was going to happen, it would have been done by know, esp with the Blades having a few quid in the bank following Beattie''s exit.
 8.
3 games unbeaten could turn into 3 games without a win on Tuesday... funny how it can change in the blink of an eye jas :)
That''s impressive Jas.  Did you work that out in your head?
 9.

Will soon change on Tuesday night... [:S]
Oh really, will it. Eh?.  I dont get you.  You obviously dont go to the matches, and all you do is slag everything off.  I think you''ve picked the wrong hobby. You clearly don''t get any pay back from being associated to Norwich City.   There are plenty of other things out there.  Why waste your life being so bitter?  Find something else.  Or do you finally have "a voice" on an internet forum??  An identity.  Doesn''t anybody like you in real life? Especially girls (who can cook??)
Oh but that is where you are wrong... Norwich City still give me pleasure... watching many of it''s dumb fans fall for all the spin time and time again is like wacthing one of your most favourite black comedy''s on repeat over and over again... it sure puts a smile on my face....
You''re a sick man smudger.
 10. We should have a clearer idea on the truth of this by close of play Monday when we know how the money received/saved on Bell is reinvested. Equally, it''s important to note that Bell looked to leave, therefore I''d like to think that at the time Gunn said "no one''s leaving" he either meant it, or he had a tactical reason for saying it.
 11.
the man needs support, not abuse.
Here, here!
 12.
four points from six . hasnt had a chance to bring anyone in yet. i was dissapointed we didnt get six from six, but we didnt lose . we have scored six in two games , and seen one of our best midfielders now showing his worth. hoolihan ! i have faith in you gunny .....!!!!!
What Singing Canary said.   I live in Leeds and the fact that people are already moaning/anti-Gunn has a proper Leeds United feeling about it (i.e. "only singing when you''re winning"... moaning/getting on the managers/players back). Let''s get behind the management team, support the players and maintain the atmosphere that''s been apparent at Carrow Road for the last couple of matches. We''re all worried about relegation, but we''ve got a part to play in what happens this season - let''s positively influence the outcome rather than getting on the team''s back. We''ve already chased 3 managers out the door over the last 3 seasons - let''s get behind this one.
 13.
Two Canary fans in Castleford !!
Big meet up in a pub in Leeds for the next televised match then me thinks!
 14.
Lupoli and Pattison on for Cureton and Hoolahan.
Thanks mate - come on Lupo... this is made for him to steal the show
 15.
Bramley, near Pudsey. Yeah, tickets for Donny game are on their way. Can;t wait mate. Will be first time this season
I was out in Pudsey last weekend for my sins!  Funny night! Any idea if there are tickets available on the night?  Not sure if I''ll be back north in time.
 16. Gutted - have we made any subs yet? I''m stuck in a hotel and no access to the commentary....
 17.
Leeds yellow - where abouts in Leeds are ya?
Roundhay - albeit, I work in London!  Back most weekends though. What about you?  You going to the Donny game?
 18. Doncaster are winning away at Sheff United and Charlton are beating Palace - not what we want
 19.

Fotheringham as captain and Russell up front? Is Gunn a coward? It would appear he is too scared to ring the changes. Why cant we appoint a manager who actually listens to the opinions of the fans? NO ONE RATES FOTHERINGHAM and NO ONE THINKS RUSSELL CAN CUT IT UP FRONT!!!!
First of all, look at our bench.... Do you see ANY defenders on that bench?... A coward???.... Honestly? And second of all, tell me why a manager who spends his days on internet message boards examining fans opinion would be a GOOD thing exactly?
So winning over the fans isnt a good move for a manager? I would go as far as saying 99% of Norwich City fans do not rate Fotheringham as club captain, with 80% of them not even rating him as a good footballer! The same would go for Russell. He is clearly not a striker. How many more poor performances will it take for our manager to realise these basic football errors? Pattison in for Fotheringham and Lupoli in for Russell. It is as clear as the nose on your bloody face!!
You were saying Canary Fan??!!  Not sure how many matches you get to, but by all accounts Fozzy was a different player in the Barnsley game and sounds like more of the same tonight. John''s spot-on.  Gunn''s job is to pick a winning team.  Not bow to message board opinion! Come on City!!!!
didn''t rusty score 1 and have a hand in other goals against Barnsley?
Absolutely Cartoon Head!  Hard to believe some folks are already picking holes in Gunn''s team! 6 goals in 2 games and none conceeded and it''s only half time!

 21. Agreed Wiz- gutted he wont reverse his decision to go back to the Earthquakes though
 22.
To be fair to Glenn Roeder (just for this once [;)]) I can completely understand why he didn''t want Hucks training with the team..
IMO this just goes to emphasise just how badly Roeder handled the whole affair - if he''d have handled the Hucks exit a little more professionally, then he wouldn''t have been seen to be losing face by inviting him back to Colney.
 23. It''s been fun thou!    David - turn back into a Wizzard and no one but us will ever know!
 24.

I dont think its the place to name peoples names. In fact that is pathetic.
If you check other threads, you will actually see that Wiz has changed his username to his real name - so you and WAY49 owe someone an apology.
Actually I won''t apologise, as I feel I have nowt to apologise for. Wiz has not long changed his name, and at time of posting he was still Wiz. [:)] Have a nice day.
That''s not true mate actually - how else would I know his name? I actually think Wiz''s response (i.e. changing his name & profile picture) is genius and out trumped all of us who have been teasing him this afternoon. Full marks Wiz/David - not only do you change your opinion with the wind, you also change your name!
