1.
We are going down this way if we also lose at home to Bristol City. Where is the confidence, it''s not there already, very strange ! These players can''t handle it, same story as after the Ipswich win.
Get a grip.  Let''s not completely over react.
 2.
Yes, Gunn is amazing. I will remind people of these posts in a few months time when they are calling for his head... Let''s face it; he''ll win some, he''ll lose some - he is certainly not a miracle worker.
You wont find me calling for his head.  You wont need to.... if he''s not successful, he''ll have the grace to walk. He''s giving us a fighting chance of survival and I give him credit for that.
 3. The way he dealt with the Wes situashion was smart too
 4.
It''s brilliant, a million miles from the Roeder ruins. Everything he says, as you say is just what you want to hear, let''s hope he can keep the results aspect up!
That''s exactly right.  Everything he says is what you want to hear..... common sense, passion and belief in himself and his players.  Really does remind me of Walker.
 5.
Merely infatuation Leeds, Real love takes MUCH longer. Could be lust though! [:^)]
This isn''t infatuation Lappin.... this is man love!  You never forget your first love and Gunn was mine when I was a wee whipper snapper!!! He''s a top fella thou.. just love his passion and it''s rubbing off on the players (and me!)
 6. ..... makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! He motivates me and I''m a few hundred miles away in Leeds - so can you imagine how the lads in the dressing feel???!!  They must feel ten foot tall. I''m trying not to get carried away, but this is the most excited I''ve felt since the Walker era.  I didn''t feel this engaged with Worthy... Gunn''s a leader and I''m right behind him. Come on you Yellows.
 7.
And the golden rule always was, barring injuries, you never change a team which is gelling and fighting for each other.......God, didn''t life under Roeder show that?
As a general rule I completely agree and I would start with Curo on Saturday - however, there comes a time when if a player strings a 3 or 4 bad games together that he should be dropped, but Gunn wont shy away from that (although he''ll find it hard as he''s already said). I think Gunn will build-up Curo''s confidence between now and the weekend, keep the faith on Saturday, start with Curo and take it from there.
 8.

I wondered if there was an element of Gunn letting Hoolahan/the squad know who was boss, after Hooli''s strop at the Doncaster game.  Obviously, he wouldn''t have done this to the detriment of the team, but I wondered if Gunn would drop Hooli to let the team know that whilst he''s a nice guy, he''s not a walk-over. Thoughts?
i dont think thats the best way to get respect out of the players, roeder tried it and it had a very negative effect. i think gunns attitude and calmness will result in quite a bit of leeway for the players and its up to them to be professional and not to take advantage.
Yeah maybe so, although the difference with Roeder is that he would have dropped him from the squad and had him training with the U18s!

 10. It''s going to be an exciting few months me thinks! Gets the hairs on the back of my neck!
 11.

Can we just enjoy the result for once without moaning????
Enjoying the result. Posted originally just after JC missed the header.........
Fair enough!  Pleased to hear it!
 12. Such an important point with all the results going for us tonight.
 13. Can we just enjoy the result for once without moaning????
 14. Can''t get over it.... fantastic effort, great spirit.  As Worthy would say, "we earned the right to play!!"
 15.

Why is Wiz never around when Cureton is crap?
There could be a  famous u-turn  on it`s way?  Or maybe not
He''ll only change his mind again if he does!
 16.
Alright Mr Sarcastic
It really is happy days now!  Utd scored another!
 17.
Saints have equalised
Happy days
 18.

Lets show this lot of prats on here how poor a manager Gunny is and that his new signings are an utter joke who are going to give himself, Delia and the majority of our fans exactly what they deserve.
Smudger - any chance you could try and address some of the points I''ve raised in the enclosed posts rather than attention seeking? http://www.pinkun.com/cs/forums/1567378/ShowPost.aspx
Nope... because they have already been addressed hundreds of times before. I suggest that you try the little ''Search'' box in the top right hand corner.
You''re a joke.  You have nothing vageuly constructive or credible.  You can''t even respond maturely to a direct question.  It''s playschool stuff.
 19. According to Talk Sport "Marshall has made 2 fantastic saves..... Marshall has kept the Canaries in it..." Sounds like he''s making amends!
