Has Peter Grant conveniently forgotten that he had already loaned Fleming out to Wolves and that he wouldn''t have been able to recall him in the first month ???? Seems to me he is trying to cover up his schoolboy error of letting Fleming go on loan when we he knew Shackell was struggling and the two full backs were on four yellow cards .

We are certainly bad enough to go down . We have one of the worst defensive records and no cover for Shackell / Dublin We have no goalscoring midfielders We have no strikers ( defined as someone who can actually put the ball in the net ) We will go down

If Grant has let Fleming go without a replacement then he should be sacked for gross negligence ! By the way , we also need a striker as without Earnshaw we will not score any goals( as last night proved ) - pretty fundamental to winning football matches. Today is the all important day regarding the future of the club.

I like most other exiles had to endure listening to the Wolves radio commentary over the net last night ( including the goal ) as i could not access the Radio Norfolk commentary over the web. On mailing Canaries World i received the following response "Sorry for the disruption with the Norwich commentary last night. The club were 19 mins late dialling in last night due to issues with the radio station, and dropped the feed again after half time and did not dial in again until 21:02." It would be nice to see an apology from either the club or Radio Norfolk with some kind of explanation ??

So , Neil Adams - If we will have no problems getting players to come to Norwich why has Peter Grant admitted that it is unlikely we will sign anyone - Because they do not want to come to a run down club that is in freefall to Division 1.

So Peter Grant in one week has changed from saying the jigsaw is almost complete on bringing 3 - 4 players in to now admitting that it is highly unlikely we will sign anyone . So no surprises there - If this is the case then we may as well kiss goodbye to the Championship now - We will be left without a recognised goalscorer , little cover for our already leaky defence and no scoring midfielders . In other words , the worst and weakest squad in the division .

So we now know that Fleming cannot be recalled - he might even play against us . Absolutely unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe the blind faith or total naivety Neil Adams seems to have for Norwich . A few weeks ago i heard him state looking at the team man by man Norwich should be top of the table !( Only Earnshaw would get a game in any top 6 side ) .  Last week he said that no way Norwich would be involved in a relegation scrap ! And to top it all yesterday he said that Norwich would have no problem attracting players to the club as Norwich are one of the best championship sides !!   - Look at the table , look at the total lack of significant signings over many years and the growing list of players who have opted for other less fashionable championship clubs .Isn''t it about time that Radio Norfolk had commentators who live in the real world , understand what a mess we are in and are actually not afraid to ask the same hard questions that the fans are asking , rather than deflecting them ?

Can anyone within NCFC please tell us why Craig Fleming was allowed to go on loan when it was known that Shackell was struggling ??? With Dublin injured and both full backs due to start suspensions we are left with absolutely no cover in these positions . It is farcical enough that an aged Fleming is our only cover at full back and centre back , but to let him out on loan typifies the total mismangement at NCFC . Yes , maybe events conspired against us on Saturday , but surely the club knew that both full backs were one booking from being suspended , Shackell was injured and we had no cover . So please Mr Grant tell us why you let him go to Wolves - And why does no one seem to know if he can be released back again so he can play on Tuesday ??

Mick Dennis , sports writer and NCFC fan said today that all candidates except PG came totally unprepared at interview - Evidently PG was aware of problems of club and had a detailed action plan in place - This impressed Delia and co .Good luck to him.

Can''t believe i heard Neil Adams say that Norwich players are of such high individual quality that we should be top of the championship - To make his point he says " How many other championship clubs have a £3.5m striker ? " - ok so we have one player who is an undoubted asset- Does he seriously believe that Colin , Doherty , Shakell , Etuhu , Dublin, Hughes are worthy of even a top 6 team . Neil you are sadly deluded - Our team is more comparable to a relegation zone team and it will be an achievement if Peter Grant manages to keep them up this year.

Quite agree . It is really a sad reflection of how desperate this club has become .When you think that both Malky and Iwan were kicked out without ceremony for being too old at 34 , it almost beggars belief that we sign a 37 year old as our main target man . What on earth is going on ????

So Worthy and Doncaster have been at great lengths to tell us how unlucky we were yesterday . What nonsense ! Yet again Norwich have been left at the starting line on deadline day . I would like to understand why Sunderland can sign 5 players in an afternoon and we can sign one in 4 months ??? Why our target was a right sided midfielder when the odds were stacked heavily on our number 2 striker leaving - So even if Cottrell had signed we would still be in the same strikerless position . Why had we no striker targets ? And if he had tracked Cottrell for some time then why wait until the final day to try and sign him ??? Why we had no plan B ?? We are now left with one of the smallest squads in the division which will be cruelly exposed as soon as injuries and suspensions creep in.

It is pretty obvious that the board are in effect saying to Worthington - " You have wasted much of the money given to you last year , so we''re not giving you much this year " - However this is a doom laden scenario - They are setting him up to fail , so they can get rid of him after 10 games ( hopefully before ! ) and give the next manager the money to spend . Why they didn''t they get rid of him last season and avoid this farce !

As a Norwich supporter who is exiled in Reading , i can assure you that the Reading fans were laughing their heads off when we bought Hughes and couldn''t believe the £500k price tag , and no he definately wouldn''t have made their team this year . It is amazing that Reading have bought 3 - 4 players with the Hughes money !

So whose fault is that then ? Probably the most crazy of the many terrible decisions that Worthington has made was to kick out Marc Edworthy before the season even began - And then to replace him with players who are not worthy to lace his boots !!! Mr Worthington , don''t you think the fans are owed an explanation for this own goal ??

Fleming says we need to win 10 of our last 13 games . Let''s be clear , we would need a minimum of 75 points to reach the play offs , so that is 12 wins out of last 13 games . Why is everyone at Carrow Road living such a deluded lives when the supporters can see that the season is effectively over , barring a relegation fight ???? It is a simple lesson in Maths that they all need !!

If we lose tonight , the only wall of noise Worthington will get is " Worthy Out , Worthy Out "

Worthington needs a lesson in mathematics !  History says that we will need 75 points minimum to reach the play offs . So that means we will need 35 points from 13 games - in other words we can afford to drop only 4 points in last 13 games . Are we Reading in disguise ? - i think not !

He may be confident of making the play offs ,  but maybe he needs a lesson in Maths . To have any chance of making the play offs we need a minimu 36 points from 15 games and the same points per game that Reading have accumalated so far - A very unlikely event .

So at last the penny has dropped . What a shame it comes after wasting money on "sidewards"players such as Colin, Hughes , Etuhu , Louis-Jean ,Jarrett , Thorne , Jonnson and Brennan . If i was the board i would not allow Worthy to spend a single penny as he clearly is no judge of what a good player is.

Let me remind those with dim memories that Worthy took us into the Premiership with a Centre Half ( Doherty ) as our main striker and a diminuitive left back ( Charlton ) as our Centre Half . In other words he failed to replace Malky and Iwan . Is this the sign of a good manager when you know the start you get in the Premiership is all important ( ask Wigan and Sunderland ) ? We were the first club to know we were in the Premiership , yet when the season kicked off we were totally unprepared to meet the challenge ahead . Let me also say that i get fed up with the excuses that we have had a lot of injuries - yes , but so have almost every other club . I also cannot buy the " we are suffering a fall out from going down " - So what about Palace and Southampton then . They had the same fate yet are much better placed than us .How many of our team against Derby were regular with us last year ?- only three . It really is time to stop offering excuses for what is a bad manager who has made a succession of bad buying and selection decisions . We are approaching the moment of truth in the transfer window when what is left of our team will be picked off in the transfer window. Prepare yourself for relegation because that''s where we are going with Worthy.

Marc Edworthy is the latest player to say that Worthington can''t be a bad manager overnight . This follows from Delia and other board members in recent weeks . So let''s look at his record - 13 wins in the last 61 games . My question is when was he a good manager ? When was overnight ? Two years ago ? In any walk of life this record takes some beating for being so bad . It is difficult to think of any good buys he has made in the past two years . We came into the Premiership without replacing Iwan and Malky - We wasted money on Jonnson, Helveg , Charlton , Bentley . This year he has done the same with Jarrett and Thorne and probably Hughes - He got rid of a decent full back in Edworthy , bought two more who he dropped for Fleming and then got another on loan ! We have now provisionally done a deal for Ethutu who cannot get into Prestons first team and was "anonomous "against Derby - The list of bad decisions goes on and on ! Yet we are told that Mr Worthington is a good manager . When ??????

It makes you laugh at Wothy''s latest excuse for a diabolical performance - The players have still got their heads in the Premiership ! So how many of the team on Saturday represented Norwich in the Premiership ? Only three on a regular basis - Green , Drury and Ashton . All the others either have joined since ( Colin,Davenport ,Robinson.,Etuhu ,Thorne )or hardly got a game ( Doherty ,Henderson,Brennan,). It is clear that Worthy has completely lost the plot and he should go - Unfortunately our spineless board have not got the guts to do what every fan has been seeing now for months , and now it is too late . The rot has set in and events will start to gather pace . Over the next few weeks you will witness the team being torn apart as we lose Safri , Davenport , Green , Huckerby , Ashton in the transfer window and we will be left with an outfit heading for relegation with no chance for any new manager to change our fortunes.  

If Dickson is so good , why can''t he get into Preston''s team ????
