1.
sorry if this already posted but can anyone understand why a third sub wasnt used? spillane for the ballerina at right back should have happened after 20 mins surely!!!
i was astonished to see the staring XI appear for the 2nd half!
 2.
He was rubbish but he must have wanted the ground to open up and swallow him.
i only felt sympathetic that Gunn didn''t take him off.
 3. have Theoklitos printed on the back of your shirt!
 4. Can we please have a minute''s applause for NCFC who died today before our very eyes.
 5. Ordered my copy online last Wednesday. Still hasn''t arrived 9 days later. There''s no excuse even if it was sent 2nd class. Might as well waited and got my personally in norwich tomorrow.
 6.
I got a few, remembering going to Elland road and we park at the back of the cantilever stand, you had to walk through a tunnel to get back, lined with Leeds fans!! bricked my self. Also went to watch Norwich play Grimsby in the FA cup, before the grimsby fans warned us not hang about!! They weren''t wrong, we parked in cleethorpes, as we where walking back i heard some chanting i turned around there where 100 fans on the other side, follow 30 of us, i was 16ish as they started to run me and my mate whipped off our shirts and hid in a garden! And 1 more for you! Norwich V''s middlesbrough at ayesome park! after the game we got lost in the city, drove into middlesbrough fans, as a welcome they chucked a full coke can through the front window!! lovely!
i was always find the midland most intimidating - villa & brum especially   although the norwich ''fans'' at leicester the season before last weren''t much better!
 7.

Just realised that I haven''t seen any posts from CA for quite a while. Anybody know if she''s OK ?
she has been on!
that''s no reason not to post!
 8.
A great peice of news for the rest of the league and a real dent in Leeds'' squad!! GET IN!! ( he went to Villa by the way)
Enough for Grayson to bid for Hoolahan!
 9.
I do think that there is a danger that Otsemobor will be the scapegoat that many fans always feel the need to have each season. I thought he was one of out better players yesterday and I''m sure will be more than good enough at league one level. I think there are other areas of the pitch that are more of a priority than right back, from yesterday''s evidence ,even with the signing of Holt, we still need another striker because Cureton is simply past it!
he''s a scapegoat for a reason....he''s a defender who can''t defend !   Yes, he has lots of pace but what use is that if you sprint up the field and then come to an abrupt holt before playing a safe ball back to someone being closed down to hoof it into the stands or lose posession he may have been in the team of the season for crewe but that was 4 years ago even if he doesn''t need replacing immediatley we need someone in before the deadline to step in if there is no change in his performance
 10.
Stephen Hughes for Daryl Russell..... Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. To be blunt and straight to the point, Russell has been a liability for us and to replace him with a player of the calibre of Hughes is a big big coup for us. Finances aside (we don''t know if the 7k is true), this is a great deal, and I am sure that the club isn''t losing money on this. Assuming that Russell goes for 500k-600k, and was on say 5k a week, the transfer fee for Russell will more than cover the extra expense for Hughes. Superb bit of business. But Delia, be aware, that this would mean the rebate money still hasn''t be spent! I expect to see a top striker and a decent right winger arriving too before I am content, and a new right back before I am happy!
Yes. Russell is so bad that a Premiership side want him. A case of Emperor''s new clothes perhaps. I think the fact that Hughes has chosen NCFC is maybe there isn''t truly a better team that wants him. Not sure why Russell has become so unpopular. OK so he had a poor disciplinary record but we saw for ourselves the standard of refereeing and he showed competiveness and commitment which i yearned to see from his loanee team mates and the likes of Otsemebor et al.
 11.
Thought we were going to keep Clingan?
you must be in a minority for believing that!
 12.
She is only with him for the money (:
really? do you think he might have an ulterior motive too?
 13.
He was supposed to be marking the unmarked goalscorer in the box...
Sounds like Groundhog Day   People berate Russell but at least he showed commitment and competed in the championship.   Perhaps that''s why some championship teams want him.   meanwhile i don''t sense there''s a queue for our achilles heel.
 14.
So now we know 2 of the players who do not wish to play for us anymore. Sammy Clingan.......fair enough I can understand his reasons, but Rusty ! His poor form was one of the reasons we got relegated last season. He was a shadow of the player that he was in that "Survival Winter" when Roeder first came. Think about it..... we sell him and we go up as Champions to the Premier League, he returns and we get relegated to the 3rd Division  ! I thought Russell would have been one guy who felt he owed us. Let him go now, anywhere.
who says he doesn''t want to play for us. If he leaves it doesn''t necesssarily mean it''s at his bidding.
 15.
this goalkeeper actually looks top drawer to me, just watch him in action on youtube.
i can recall similar excitement when Brellier & Strihavka joined I thin its folly to judge by a few highlights on youtube.
 16.
Take him!!!! Seriously, we need him off our wage bill. He was highly-rated when he came to us ..... But he just cannot defend, ..., he is a liability when anyone runs at him. ...
Sounds like Jon Otsemebor II
 17. who says the Marshall money goes into the player budget ? the rebates probably means the Marshall fee and the pre-existing budget will be reallocated elsewhere we all know from bitter experience that transfer expenditure will fall woefully short of tansfer income and that the difference is accounted for in vague terms (agent fees etc). also as many of Norwich''s purchases are for ''undisclosed'' sums we will never know if the rebate money has been spent in full in addtion to other transfer income etc
 18. i wonder if there will be two-tier matchday pricing too.   match tickets will be levied at League One prices with a begging bowl at the turnstile for those who want to pay more
 19.
I haven''t posted on here for months but I am compelled to note my disgrace. For the sake of £11 a month between August and February off your direct debit payments we''re £717,603 worse off. I''m disgusted with you. I hope the little point you feel you''ve proved was worth it. I''ve never been so ashamed of fellow "supporters". I feel sick right now. Yes, we can be cynical about the money going straight into the playing budget. Yes we can all feel aggrieved about the situation at the football club. I wish we had a different board/owner in place the same way that I wish we were playing in a different league and I wish that we had Torres up front and Vidic at centre back. We are where we are, and your £11 a month is going to do nothing to help anyone.
really. so the club can waste the money on next season''s versions of Koroma, Killen, Sibierski,  i.e. waste money on subsidising another team''s wageroll and then leave them on the bench because they''re either sh!te or injured. Or continue to pay the wages of Otsemebor who had the audacity to receive a wage far in excess of my own to stroll on the pitch for 90 minutes each week and do f*** all ? Or for the board to use as severance pay for yet another incompetent manager and his staff that they have chosen Norwich City are not a charity. If i was going to give money to charity i''d give it to a hospice. As it is, my travel costs exceed my season ticket. I''ll keep the money thanks and use it for an away day and hope for a better performance than some of the appalling ones i''ve witnessed on my travels over the past few years from teams managed by Roeder, Grant & Gunn.
 20.

Question; Where does the £350,000 come from?
Clingan -750k-1m Marshall - £400-500k Hoolahan - 400k surely theres money here to spend?? I do wonder whether we should have waited to get the money in for these players first, we might have then found that we could have gone for a slightly higher standard of player than the ''Sunday league'' players bought in so far?
anton sibierksi transfer fees are about 6M ish and he was a pile of sh!te   past transfer fees are completely irrelevant otherwise we might as well bring Trevor Franics ot of retirement   a colleague of mine - an ipswich fan - reckons he''s oneof the laziest footballers he''s ever seen and a Palace fan didn''t have a good word to say either. he wants to play for norwich due to proximity to Dedham where he lives and did enough when on loan to convince many of our fans it seems but don''t be surprised if he turns out to be a disappointment
Well he cant have done half bad, with transfer fees totalling £2m in his career, 10 international caps and nearly 100 league goals to his name...... you have to realise that Crystal Palace and Ipswich have a different quality of player to us now..... and have had for a few years unfortunately!
22.
I see less attractive clubs invested in every week now and it just bugs me why noone comes in for us, we''ve got so much potential, a great infastructure, what is it about us?
why not ask Peter himself?
 23.
About £3 million we bring in I make it.  Based around £160 a head.  Never sustainable.  Clearly.....
Yes. kids and oaps s/t prices are cheaper but would you rather have empty seats? increasing the price would increase the revenue from those who would renew regardless but the numbers would drop and so there would be little net benefit (also bearing in mind those kids and oaps bolster program sales and other misc sales in club shop etc).
 24.
Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
Have you got "Hemispheres'' by Rush in your cd collection perhaps?
