1.
Thanks for giving our board a kick up the bum on day one. Also, thanks for putting so much pressure on your players before the recent match against us that they folded like a deck of cards once the first goal went in. That''s two favours you''ve done us. I know it''s a bit cheeky to ask for another one so soon, but if your team could see their way clear to beating Leeds on Saturday they would be doing us a massive favour.... and realistically you DO need the points. Come to think of it, for a man who hates us so much, you have really been a big help.
Excellent.
 2. you must be joking.we have no need for the fat arsed pikeywhat next? sibierski? killen?
 3.
Just as a quick heads-up, according to this week''s ticketing update on the official site, all those in groups one to four have been successful in their applications and there will be a ballot for group five. So I''d imagine that surprisingly few people applied for this one - perhaps because they thought they wouldn''t have a chance of getting a ticket?
or do they don''t fancy an open stand in the middle of feb about a mile from pitch (ok i might have exaggerated that last bit). funny how the cherry pickers whinge about not getting tickets for ''big'' games and then disappear
 4.
They mean a plastic sword haha.
will a pork one do?
 5. i''m surprised that anyone with a brain would buy the NotW anyway unless they had run out of Andrex etc
 6.
"You''ve obviously never met the right guy !!" Excellent response If I was choosing between the wife and us winning 5 nil it would be 5 nil everydayButchoose between sex with Cheryl Cole and us winning 5 nil sorry lads football wouldn''t even be thought offwell for at least 2mins lol
i bet she''d be pleased to hear that!
 7.
Bit annoying. But if he carries on finishing like his header yesterday then I''m fine with it!
think this is just a mutually agreeable morale booster for their fac cup match   and i reckon he''ll still leave afterwards
 8.
???
where''s ya f*cking towel
 9. I think he''s a weak link but fair dues...Nelson was a contender for MotM today imo.
 10. !and to think Glen Roeder preferred Anton Sitonmyarseki

 12.
They mentioned on the Radio about Lambert congratulating shearer... Shearer also played out of his skin.... with theo likely to be on the Way is there more to it than this? We would need an established 1st choice keeper for next season if we couldnt get Forster permanently and by all accounts its the defence rather than the keeper that let Wycombe down. January is upon us and Lambert was at wycombe with Shearer was he?
he was cack at caarow rd and speaking to a wwfc fan after the game he''s been cack frequently since. if you want to buy a keeper based on one good performnce we might as well go for paul gallagher!
 13.
I don''t think you can be sure about TJ and Gill, they haven''t been fit since Lambert has been here. That said, I don''t think Gill will cut it, and who knows with TJ, looks lazy but talented to me. I wouldn''t be surprised if they both left, but I don''t think Lambo will have decided yet.
i''m pretty sure about Gill and Nelson who i would happily never see in the side again.   OTJ maybe but don''t think he''s a serious contender while Russell/Smith/Hughes are fit
 14. if we''re just going to quote lyrics ... http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/macc-lads-lyrics/sweatty-betty-lyrics.html enjoy
 15.
Is anybody else testing out the quality of the FA''s live internet coverage tonight? For anybody who isn''t aware the FA are streaming the 1st round replay between Stevenage v Port Vale (mouth watering I know). It stopped/started as it buffered a few times in the first minute or so having loaded it, but since then I''ve had continuous uninterrupted coverage. Can''t really complain about the picture quality either. Not a patch on television coverage obviously but then it''s certainly nothing like watching a mobile phone captured video on youtube. I''m playing it through my TV from the laptop via a VGA cable. Overall I''m impressed and looking forward to watching it on the 28th.
be grateful. maybe with the buffering Ots will be able to look like he''s keeping up with play !
 16. we were a one-trick pony yesterday in what was probably one of the dullest displays this season. after 90 mins i was bored shitless of watching Askkou, Doc and Russell play triangles while Tranmere sat back and waited and waited and waited..until one of them lost the ball amidst the tedium. it was nearly as frustrating as watching Hoolahan twist and turn ad infitum trying to get space on his left foot or getting knocked off the ball or watching Lappin checking the ball back onto his right foot when a first-time left footed cross would have been more effective Tranmere were there for the taking and we might rue not capitalising on it like huddersfield did to wycombe yesterday with the top pack so tight goal-difference will probably determine the automatic and play-off positions
 17. i''ve always thought the stewards in the away section are heavy-handed and worse than i have experienced on my away days. seems there is one rule for the home fans and another for the away. why can''t they let them enjoy their day and only intervene when they really have to
 18. how about - to the tune of ''chirpy chirpy cheep cheep'' - where''s ya right foot gone (where''s ya right foot gone) where''s ya right foot gone (where''s ya right foot gone) far far away
 19.
Which one would you prefer?
doherty without a shadow of doubt.
 20.
My Mrs has persuaded me to miss a home game in January, Hartlepool, to do relative visiting trip that fits in with her schedule. Before the keyboard warriors start making "under the thumb" jokes, I gave a swift counter attack insisting I attend an away game near that date instead. Millwall away fits in well. I normally go to the matches with my 12 year old son, but some friends have worried me a little about getting hassle at Millwall. Personally it doesn''t bother me, but I don''t want my son facing a bunch of yobs outside the football ground. Train is preferred but also considering going on the official coaches. Any experiences or advice?
in my own experience i''ve never had a problem at the New Den. Personally, i find the midlands more hostile and Millwall have a strict membership scheme which means the yobs only crawl out of the woodwork for a streetfight when the opposition have a reputation for being ''up for it'' e.g. millwal, stoke, west ham, cardiff i''m taking my 14 year old. however, there''s no need to invite trouble so i would avoid wearing colours and keep your mouth shut outside the ground.
 21. one good thing probably watch the whole game with the screen ''buffering''   at least that will alows Ots to catch up!
 22.
Not sure what all of this sentimental b**locks is about surrounding Ashton, he was here for all of TWELVE MONTHS!!, sorry I must have missed his testimonial, hardly makes him a Duncan Forbes or a Kevin Keelan does it?. The fact is he used us as a stepping stone to further his career when nobody else was prepared to take a punt on him in the premiership. Secondly he is a perfect example of why its currently a good era to be a big English striker because when you look around they are thin on the ground, exemplified by Heskey''s and Carlton Cole''s continued selection for England. If you look back say 15-20 years ago most top flight sides had big strikers and they were all better than Ashton (and not as fragile) -Fashanu,Harford,Regis,Shearer etc, even our own Chris Sutton!. The only reason why he is so overrated is because they are a dying breed in today''s football, not because he is/was that great.
here, here. this is the player who almost saved us from relegation but as soon as we were relegated played every match with a face like a slapped arse and little effort until the transfer window beckoned. his attitude to the fans at kenilworth rd was worthy of reciprocated contempt
