If there were Arsenal fans in the norwich seats they must have been given the tickets by other ncfc season ticket holders or members and that''s their business. I personally would feel uncomfortable amongst opposing fans but really wouldn''t have a problem if there''s an opponents fan sitting near me. And didn''t we do the same at Watford etc? Really lets grow up and concentrate on the game rather than be distracted and wound up by those around us. To be honest there''s one or two ncfc fans near where i sit who i''d like an ejection seat for!

you might see both vs Bristol Rovers but sadly it seems Brennan seems to be heading for a season in the reserves, having his contract cancelled by mutual consent and then being given away (like Heckingbottom etc etc). How else can NW explain not including him in any 16 for the first 4 matches? A sad waste as far as I''m concerned. I would personally have him in my first XI ahead of McVeigh and Jonson. As for Mackay, a cameo appearance, if both Charlton and Fleming are injured, is all we can expect.

Yes are being harsh :- McVeigh and Johnson :- Neither should have started yesterday. Both are primarily attacking midfielders and - horses for courses - we would have been better with Helveg and Brennan (remember him?). Holt is not playing too well but surely he has proven over the past few seasons (albeit in div 1) that he has the potential to succeed in the premiership. Everyone''s clamouring for Safri to replace Holt. Based on what? 45 minutes against an Arsenal team who''d already won the game and were using the 2nd half as a practice match? Mackay - what exactly has he done wrong this season? How can you criticise a player who hasn''t played? He''s not going to replace Charlton (our best summer signing) or Fleming (our deserved player of year) but I''m sure he''ll give 100% if he has to step in to cover for them. Svennson - I agree. Leon - Agreed. I think even if he walked on water Worthington wouldn''t pick him. No disrespect to Doherty but he was bought as a centre half and still seems to be preferred to leon up front.

If only we had. It was obvious that we would need emphasis on the defence so why did we not play Brennan and Helveg instead of McVeigh and Johnson. Neither PM or MJ played badly but both are attacking midfielders and we we might have not have lost the game so early.

I agree with you bananaman. after my trip to old trafford i thought the only thing DB had in common was his ability to pass to a red shirt but he was better on Wednesday.

what an excellent game. He should never have been left out in the first place. maybe nigel reads this board (leaving out the the Matts). Leon must still wonder what he has to do to get a start (left out for a player bought as a defender). But an excellent result and now Arsenal have beaten the unbeaten record maybe we can catch them relaxing!

Mcsncfcmcs :- your reasons for Johnson''s poor performance are indisputable but nevertheless he was poor in both games. In both matches the outcome was predictable beforehand i.e. it was too soon for CP and tired after intnl duty before Man U. Why then did he start. why not play McVeigh or Brennan instead ?

Colin comes across as an honest geezer who speaks his mind and is passionate about his team. How refreshing that is. I''m surprised that so many are easily wound-up by him. I would rather he took Sheff U into the premier - think apart from us they are the longest serving div 1 (or 2 or Chumpionship or whatever its called this week) team last year - than Mr Pardew takes his overrrated bunch of Tottenham and Wimbleon rejects there.

I agree and would have liked to have seen Brennan included. This is not a crticism of Bentley or Johnson its just a case of horses for courses :- Green Edworthy/Fleming/Charlton/Drury Helveg/Holt/Francis/Brennan McKenzie/Huckerby Subs (don''t need defenders on the bench as Brennan or Helveg can drop back).
