  1. An opinion is never a lie...only in small-minded remainer brain cells, . .. and also, just because there are material shortages at this time is not a reason not to sign a contract, as they can have covering clauses. The delay in my opinion is that Novavax fear that they will be treated like dirt by the EU and have their good name dragged through the mud for any delivery issues as the EU are completely intolerant, as proven by the treatment of AZ. The bitter, spiteful EU therefore reap what they sow.
  2. Exactly, and it will be free, while the countries of the EU will still be trying to vaccinate their citizens, sadly. If the EU had invested more funds up front, as we did, they would not now be in the dire situation of trying to steal our jabs. They are so sadly incompetent, bitter and spiteful.
  3. The figures would be a lot different if the EU had invested more time, energy and money in vaccines a year ago just as Britain did, rather than investing in denigrating AZ and the UK now. They were late to the table as usual and all this rubbish is a smoke-screen to cover up their monolithic inefficient ways. The sooner they are disbanded and countries can govern themselves the better for europe and the rest of the world.
  4. Well, they don't want to tell the sclerotic, bitter, spiteful EU the real reason for obvious reasons, you very naive person, just as Boris keeps calling them 'our friends' rather than telling them his real thoughts. It's called political expediency. The EU reap what they sow by denigrating perfectly good companies and countries.
  5. It will depend on whether a suitable job comes up for him in Germany such as Borussia Dortmund. The question though is does he want to stick his head above the parapet with the adherent risks or stick to a safe job here where he is revered..
  6. So, Novavax are apparently reluctant to sign a contract with the EU for their vaccine due to the way that the EU have behaved with AstraZeneca, which I did opine a few days ago, and this guy appears to agree. Quelle Surprise !! ... and an unfortunate mistype in the Express names the leader of the EU as Ursulka von der Leyen... which they have now corrected https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1415796/brexit-news-uk-trade-deals-outside-eu-vaccine-war-revenge

  8. So, just what are they playing at with 41% of jabs at EU disposal unused. Are they purely trying to damage us out of spite ? : https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1415020/eu-vaccine-news-astrazeneca-brexit-news-von-der-leyen-macron-france
  9. The one that lied in PM parliamentary questions about whether he had complained about us not joining the failed EU vaccine scheme....... and then has an alleged punchup with Boris and had to admit he was wrong. No...not Starmer.
  10. I'm sure his rating will be higher than the parliamentary liar....
  11. Yes, I thought of all people you would support the police in this matter as you do seem to approve of mafia activities.
  12. Following our lead would totally go against the EU mantra which has denigrated our vaccine strategy since day one. The EU is so stubborn and killing its own citizens comes second to trying to prove the UK wrong. We know that we are right and that's what counts, and EU citizens must realise that in due course when the current vicious anti-UK propaganda wanes and they start surveying the debris.
  13. Typical remoaner reply. Life is not all about trade with the rip-off protectionist EUSSR ..... it is about raising our standard of living and quality of life based on our own decisions, and not being preyed upon and eaten alive by dictatorial parasites to the tune of multi-billions annually. . There will also be ferries bringing us cheap quality fresh produce from Africa btw and avoiding bundles of EU red tape and imports.
  14. Just shows that all will be sorted in time and what a waste of space the EU is.
  15. Trolling again eh........ I'm sure that having certain views that are not agreeing with your lefty hand-wringing justifies the police intimidation , spurious lies by BBC cohorts, unlawful arrests, confiscation of property, potentially driving him to suicide, or even worse, condoning murder by the authorities as probably happened to Dr David Kelly. Freedom of speech means accepting the right of a person to state his own views and truth. We are now in a police state and we must resist this persecution and intimidation or we will lose that right. If he breaks the law then prosecute him, but this has now gone on for a very long time so they obviously have no reason to prosecute. This is a terrible indictment of our police and authorities who must now be aware of what is going on here.
  16. You are still better off having just one jab than none at all. Of course the optimum would be having the two, and I'm sure we will get them in due course. According to Dr Chris Smith on Five Live last night, even delaying a few more weeks before the second jab is not critical.
  17. Alex Belfield, the former BBC journalist and now Youtuber is being persecuted and intimidated by Nottinghamshire police and the BBC in a long list of events which appear to be aimed to curtail his freedom of speech, and yesterday his door was demolished by the police who raided his home without a warrant under a spurious accusation that he had made a bomb threat against the BBC. I am posting this as I fear for his safety but also that this police and BBC corruption needs to be exposed.
  18. So, are Novavax becoming a reluctant supplier to the EU ? Who would be surprised after the way AZ have been treated !! https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1414878/EU-vaccine-news-Novavax-delay-contract-european-union-US-UK-deal-covid-jab-doses
  19. We were always told that Brexiteers are the older generation, so it may not be so devisive if it keeps remoaners out of the bars.
  20. That's a massive assumption and probably wrong imo. Retired people who are the demographic that will have received the vaccine tend to have grown-up families, be mortgage free, and have state and work pensions plus other investments, potentially also equity release funding or downsized funding, all adding up to a healthy disposable income. In addition, they have not been spending much due to incessant lockdown restrictions, and will also have the extra time to spend in pubs as they are not tied to jobs. -
  21. .. and the threat from us to stop vaccine components and also the worry of an exodus of Pharma from the communist superstate got the EU to the table.
  22. John Humphries did not know what he was voting for : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-9399587/JOHN-HUMPHRYS-EU-row-Covid-jabs-destroyed-faith-old-Remainer-like-me.html
