yes i except your point, but our pitch isn''t that bad! I mean we''ve still got one of the best home records in the league!Its a hell of a lot better than most 1st divison clubs! we could also stop the reserves playing on it, that would help its life. I do except we need to do somthing, but once we are an established prem club. Considering our accounts, surely if a ''business'' is suffering annual losses, costs need to be cut.... £650,000 on a pitch is a bit extravengent! Plus ipswich have got a great pitch, say no more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me or could £650,000 be spent on something more important like squad strengthening! You could buy brand new turf for every game for the next 5 years at that price! Yes there was a waterlogging problem earlier this year, but that was after the biggest downpour for ages! I seem to remember us deciding to buy a mill some years ago, instead of players!!! Yes to the pitch, but in the distant future, what does everyone reckon?

I was sitting in the corner of the south stand next to the Riverend! Oh my god the stand was silent throughout the first half, apart from moaning, hissing and booing, i was disgusted with the general attitude in these stands in particular the abuse towards hendo. Its not as if gillingham were all over us, or had any shots on target! Yes we were passing poorly, but as soon as our players got the ball,everyone was on their backs to get it up front a.s.a.p. People only started to cheer once the first goal went in, and even then it was still quiet. Did you see Hendo''s reaction when he created the first goal? Straight over to worthy to give him a hug, for showing faith in him! The barclay sounded excellent, and even neil adams stated they helped us get back in the game! Perhaps we should just erect speakers in the riverend and southstand and play the boys from the barclay & snake pit! 11 games to go, and bring on the palace!

Who''s taking them, we are hopefully getting ours filled with Helium! Any other good ideas, how about a giant "we hate alan brasil" banner or what about " are you watching @ bbc" bloody old football focus! Phil
