1. Re the original post, you can''t coach football intelligence...
 2. I think that people call that ''tokenism''.
 3. Don''t beat yourself up, Ricardo, I did exactly the same thing!
 4. Exactly what I did, Darth, feel a bit of a numpty now!
 5. Really, really sorry, cancel that, they''ve moved the bu*ger - not on anywhere!!!! Can''t believe they''re showing all the others.
 6. Currently on this stream - http://www.wiz1.net/channel12
 7. Wes was excellent and we seemed to lose our attacking threat a bit when he came off (plus all of the substitutions didn''t help). He will be superb for us (again) this season.

Having watched a number of the pre-season games, Butterfield looks Championship level at best.
Wow, sack him now.By the same rules, how do you think we, as a team will do in the Premier League considering weve been beat by 2 MLS sides and a pub team?
Perhaps I should have added "As well as every game Butterfield has played for us at Carrow Road", but I assumed that was obvious. He''s been very average for us and he has not improved in the pre-season games; it''s my guess that I won''t have to "sack him", I think he''ll be shown the door again in a few weeks'' time, either another loan or permanently. As for the team, the OP was right in my opinion, we could struggle if we don''t have someone who can stand in for Wes.
So your basing it on 2 League Cup games and 3 Pre-season games? A young lad who has come with bags of potential after a long and serious injury? Glad your not involved in player development. Also, I guess your giving RVW9 2 more games aswell? We hardly set up our team around Wes last year and did fine.
You''re right, of course. Many apologies for having an opinion (should know better as an ex semi-pro player). I promise not to post such uninformed trash again.
I know im right, if you think you can base an opinion on a player on 5 non-comeptitive games, you clearly should know better.Oh and for the record, I spent my youth at Leeds United, Coventry City, York City and Halifax Town, I am a qualified referee, have a UEFA B coaching licence and played semi pro.
So we''re now both NCFC fans who have differing opinions. End of.

 11. The Snodmeister was also superb first half, although he ran out of steam in the second half (understandable after what must have been a difficult week for him).

 13. Good question, Henrik (and in no way sexist!). My daughter used to play for Norwich City Academy / Ladies, so I have a pretty good understanding of the ladies'' game (having coached girls'' / ladies football to a decent standard for over ten years). I agree with an earlier poster, the England ladies team is probably on a par with King''s Lynn''s division. However, the game is very different because of the (obvious) physical differences; the men''s game is, of course, based on physical power (especially in this country). That said, the ladies'' game - and trust me on this - is really entertaining to watch. The skill levels are very good, as is the commitment and the bravery of the players. Plus, the sportmanship is fantastic compared to the men''s game - you won''t see prima donnas, or players surrounding the ref, or players falling to the ground and rolling around like they''ve been shot by a sniper from 300 yards!!!
 14.

This is at best, 2 minutes of my life wasted.
Add some of your own, anyone can join in. Unless you have, no sense of humour/jokes to tell/had a personality bypass
Still waiting, Nick!
 15. Would CH use Russell Martin or Whittaker at centre back?
 16. Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, but it looks like we''re in for some snow and ice here in Norfolk early next week - http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/snow_likely_and_sharp_frosts_forecast_for_norfolk_1_1735254 The pitch will be OK, I''m sure, but, if it''s as bad as predicted, the club or the police could pull the game on safety grounds (terraces / surrounding roads). I''ve got a ticket for the game, so everything crossed!
 17.

Well...Holt is maybe in the team on merit, but to say he was "immense" is rather inaccurate. He did a job, not very good in mye eyes, as in the last 5-6 games. To be fair, I dont think Holthas had a game this season where I can say he has been playing well (as we all know he can). Holt has become very immobile this season compated to last, and I dont think this is down to tactics. It is down to fitness. Look at the amount of defending from the front done by Hoolahan compared to Holt, while Holt is just standing and looking on. Appaling. Holts fitness must improve, and he has had enough chances now. Let him start on the bench for a few games, and come in after 60 for Morison. Also, Bennett is due a run for Snodgrass, me thinks.
I''m sorry, apart from the last sentence this is utter tosh.    I wasn''t at the game but it was obvious even down a grainy stream that Holt was one of the hardest working and mobile players out there and a constant nuisance to the opposition.   He was everywhere today - attacking, covering, defending.  Great performance.
Don''t be sorry, that was utter tosh! I was at the game and Holty was superb today, winning most of his challenges and running his socks off, closing down from the front. He won loads of flick-ons for Wes - if we''d had someone like Shane Long on the end of them we would have scored a few more. In addition, the quality of his runs off the ball was superb, but Johnson and Tettey failed to spot them a lot of the time (that''s not a dig at either of them, their job is to break down opposition play). If some people think that Morison will be a better option than Holt, be careful what you wish for.
 18. Looking back at it, I wish that I''d started this thread.
 19.
I think those suggesting that Holt be called up for England are labouring under an outdated misapprehension about what a striker''s role should be. Apparently these misguided souls think that a striker''s main role is to score goals. After all, why should Grant Holt (3 Premier League goals this season) get in the England squad ahead of Wayne Rooney (2 PL goals), Danny Welbeck (1 PL goal) or Daniel Sturridge (1 PL goal)??
I really hope that someone attending the Roy Hodgson dinner at Carrow Road gives him some stick about this, or at least asks him why he''s not in the squad based upon PL goal return (as above).
 20. Not sure, but would ''0 GMT'' on his profile suggest that Buenos Aires is now in this country....?
 21. This post reminded me of when we went to Colchester and the home fans gave Lambert terrible stick - before we beat them 5-0! You can be sure that he will have the Villa players highly motivated when they come here!
 22.

I''ve been thinking the same about David Fox
Could well be so. That''s 2 now.......Jackson & Fox.   Anybody up to the analysis?   C''mon, let''s be having yer; the weekend''s here! [:)]   [C]   OTBC
Sorry.... Friday night.... large glass of red wine ......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................
 23. Yes please - he looks like a great winger!
