Arsenal are willing to pay around £5million for Norwich City goalkeeper Robert Green in the New Year – and let him stay at Carrow Road for the rest of the season. According to www.fansfc.com I don''t want to see Green go as I think he will (and already has) earn''t us points with his good work in goal so far.  The above if true would allow us to spend some money on a good creative midfielder and a proven goal scorer which I believe we still need and have Greeno in goal the season.. what''d think ?

I thought the boys played well against Spurs, the first half was a bit ''backs against the wall'' but the second half when Huckerby got more involved we looked a good premeirship team.  It does worry me that we are too reliant on Huckerby to create chances and provide pace upfront.. When Huckerby was running down the left at Spurs we lacked pace ''upfront'' to provide another man in the box.. I thought Leon had a reasonable run out and would like to see him given more of a game.. If Huckerby was to get injured we would lose both our creativity spark and pace in attack.. I''m not sure we need a new target man as much as another pacy stricker with Huckerby given a free role on the left.. With the start we have made we look capable of staying up and winning games.. but we need to score more goals..

I live in Maidenhead and I saw a new member who is called Maidenhead yellow so I guess there is another 2 of us at least about..

After reading the Spurs 606 message board on bbc.co.uk there were a lot of spurs fans saying that he always gives 110% in every game, a commited player etc.. Just in the City mould !! We probably got him cheap as the Spurs fans were on his back evey game. He is good in the air and can play up as a centre back or centre half. He may not set the world on fire but he will IMO be a good signing for City.. Worthington has a habit of finding good players at the right price and getting the best out of them so why not the Doc ?

Have to agree, a solid player with plenty of experience just the sort of player we should be going for.. if it is a reasonable fee and wages and we should buy him.. I still don''t see / hear about us linked with many defenders and we need to have at least 4 good quality central defenders to last the whole prem season.
