1.

Fulham knocked back £15m for Tom Cairney if Sky Sports are to be believed and told West Ham to stop wasting their time as they wouldn''t sell him for £40mill. Cairney and his agent don''t like it but have accepted it. Cairney in similar contract situ to Maddison. That''s exactly what we should do with Maddison during this window. Hold on to him until the summer and sell then for £20m+ to Spurs or Liverpool with a caveat that we get him back on loan for next season. I think that kind of deal would suit all parties to be honest, and what the board will be looking to strike if they have any sense.
And this how we should have also been with Pritchard.
lol @ trying to compare our situation to Fulham... 🤦‍♂️
 2.

Oh this will be good, so how is Delia benefiting financially from the sale of Pritchard exactly?
Do you really need this explaining to you? She’s is owner of a club that’s just cashed in on an asset for £11 million pounds. You don’t think she benefits at all?
No really an answer is it...What other nonsense have you convinced yourself of? chemtrails are real! the moon landing was fake! jet fuel can''t melt steel beams! vaccines cause autism! the earth is really flat! 🤣The evidence is there for everyone to see, take a look for yourself, the club publishes the accounts in detail, perhaps you can show us the millions going into Delia''s back pocket.
 3.
Are you one of the brain dead nieve ones that think she isn’t benefitting?
Oh this will be good, so how is Delia benefiting financially from the sale of Pritchard exactly?
 4.
Pritchard has a long term contract. Tell him he’s staying till the summer and he can have his move then. Pritchards value won’t change that much between now and the summer. And we need him until then.
That''s a big gamble, maybe Huddersfield don''t want him anymore, maybe he get injured again, maybe they come back with a lower offer knowing we can''t afford his wages. It''s this kind of gambling that got us in the mess in the first place, we can''t afford to do that anymore. No doubt if it didn''t pay off you''d be the first here whineing the club should have got a better deal for him in January.
As for Greed. You suggestion is stupid. If the money is offered, greed takes it as soon as possible. Saves a few months wages too.
No it''s your suggestion that is stupid, for it to be greed the wealth has to be accumilated, yet there is no evidence of such activities, the accounts are there for all to see or are you one of the batsh*t conspiracy thoerists who think Delia is pocketing the money of the sale...?
 5. No fan is honestly happy to see him go but his head was turned and he wanted PL football, we''ve made about £7 million profit according to reports so ultimately if he was going to go we''ve done some good business here.
 6.
Why is it? In this situation it’s all relative. Pritchard would have still been a very sellable asset in the summer. As others point out, he’s one of the best English midfielders outside of the prem.
If he''s such a sellable asset and truly one of the best outside the prem, why has only one club made an offer for him? not even a wealthy club...
So why being Norwich and not Liverpool do we just give in and say off you go?
Are you seriously that dense? Are you really unable to see the vast gulf in differences in negotiation power between us?
Stop defending the clubs greedy actions. I’ll remind you, we were told the Jacob and Howson sales meant nobody had to leave in Jan.
If it''s a greedy action, then why are we not forcing the player to stay and get even more money in summer being the greedy club we are? by saying we are greedy cashing in early and also claiming we could have got more money for him in the summer, do you not see the blinding hypocrisy?
 7.
He should have been told stay until summer then can go reasonable transfer fee. He would then have incentive to play well to keep his Prem hopes alive.
But aren''t ransfer fees are often lower in the summer and what supporting evidence is there to suggest that waiting until the summer will produce a reasonable transfer fee? baring in mind only Hudderfield have hown any interest. I must say I''m loving all these armchair football club directors with zero experience talking like you''ve got a clue about any of this, you can''t even get the basic facts right.
 8.
We wont get £11m , £12m or £14m in year one . In the same way as we didn''t get £10m/£12m for Murphy. Clubs don''t just write out a cheque I''m afraid.
That''s how transfers work in general...
 9.
Forced to stay against his will. lol. Didn’t do countinho much harm.
lol trying to compare with a club owned by billionaires and in the top 4 of the Premier League... situations which are universes apart, let alone on the same planet.
 10.

It’s the clubs job to stay strong and do what’s best. Selling Pritchard now is not what’s best, that’s for sure. It should have been the summer. We should have rejected all bids until then. Why the desperation to sell now? Greed.
Why is waiting until the summer best?
Well, any supporter would surely want to see a quality player like Pritchard for as long as possible. And who knows what might have happened with Pritchard playing week in week out till May. But no, we’ll wave the white flag now.
So you think we going to get the best from a player forced to stay against his will, who would have outlined his desire to leave the second Huddesfield made their first bid, why do think clubs make such low ball offers public? it turns a player''s head. Then we sell in the summer for less money, genius.

 12.
And fans like you just accept it.
And fans like you are going to do what? b*tch and moan here? grab a pitchfork and torch and march on Carrow Road? get a grip and deal with it.
 13. Yanic has scored 1 goal, created 0 assists, and averaged 0.2 accurate crosses per game, that''s 3 accurate crosses in 16 games, plus 17 inaccurate. But looking at the state of some fans you''d think we''d loaned out a club legend... he''s on high wages and likely has add ons to be triggered if he plays more games for us, it''s a good deal.
 14.
Nobody is paying us ''a few million'' for Naismith. Much more likely we have to pay him off in part.
I doubt that, at the very least the club will be looking to get his wages covered, but you are right it is unlikely to see a fee for him, just to get his wages off the book would be great though.
 15.

How about you tell us all how much he was sold for then ?
Well under what he’s worth. Gurantee most clubs in the championship would have held our for more.
Based on what evidence exactly?Given we''ve actually spent closer to £5 million on Pritchard, selling for £10 million rising to £12 with add ons is okay but for a player that''s just back from long term injury, and only played 26 games, not to mention that he doesn''t want to play for us anymore. We''re also getting a high wage player off the books which is vital in our restructuring, if we can ship Naismith out for a few million and get his wages off the books then this will be some good business by the club. The reality is we are not in the top 6 and ambitious players will move on, we were unfortunate in that there weren''t any other bidders, this will always devalue a player ultimately. It''s not great news but we are where we are and it''s not the end of the world, no player is bigger than the club and the hysteria from fans like lincoln is completely ridiculous.
 16. Or they''ve gone to bed like sensible people...
 17. @Branston Pickle [Y] I see no value in trying to keep players that don''t want to be here, better to have the extra cash in the pocket and look to strengthening our weaker areas.
 18. Honestly at this stage it would be better if we could just drop out, Chelsea will beat us and it''s a needless game that could cause us injury problems and like the Arsenal game, which also was the start of our very poor run
 19.
@ginja Thats the problem with stats though. Our three on target have been very easily saved side foots. I''d say the Ipswich shot off the post and mcgoldrick''s free header were much more threatening but won''t show up in ''shots on target.''
There''s no chance of it being a goal if you can''t get your shots on target though
 20.
Second best so far. Could very easily be 2-0 down and barely threatened their keeper.
While I agree to a degree, we''ve had 3 shots to their zero on target, hardly not threatened.
 21.

Not very good at the moment for us, defensively very open, feel we are missing Tettey, not much protection for the CBs
Yeah, I have no idea what Reed brings to the party. We are definitely missing Tettey.
Thankfully Ipswich having a rather poor time in front of goal, really should be in front by now.

 23. Not sure what the fuss is all about, just logged in and bought tickets no problem.
 24. The ref is a complete and utter w*nker, double standards all the time.
