Best CM ever?
CatLineker28 replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Crook and Townsend were the perfect combination. Shame it was so brief. Crook will always be my favourite. -
Gunn 8 As ever did everything he needed to. Thought he was beaten on near post near the end but got a foot there. Stacey 9 Fluffed his lines when through on goal but great defensively and best attacking threat we had Chrisene 6 Technically good but hope there is more to come when fitter as right now doesn't offer alot going forward. Duffy 7 Thought had good game for him Doyle 9.5 Far too good for this level. Reminds me of Godfrey for onfield presence. Was very good. Forson 5 We have a good player here but played poorly and understandably subbed Nunes 7 he's no Ian Crook but had a great game. Set pieces were good Sainz 7.5 matchwinner and has X factor that we need. Personally feel he might be more suited to a number 10 role more than wing. Sargent 7 Quiet game but still looked very dangerous. McLean 7 was ok. Quietly achieved as he does. Ante Crnac 6 My son thought he looked decent but I was disappointed hopefully improves with time given the investment. Swarthau 8 Very impressed. Think we have good one there Slimane 7 Steady. Wasn't that impressed but looked handy and early days. Overall I thought we were great. Ultra critical I think we could have gone after the second goal a bit harder as I thought Cov were there for the taking but when you haven't seen an away win for 10 yrs I went home v happy

Anyone else notice that bloke in the Cov section who seemed to be constantly trying to send security and police into our stand? What was he so wound up about?

Tim Sherwood did it.

3-2 Sunderland 1st day of 90/91 season. Dale Gordon scored a beauty to put us ahead and Rosario hit the bar with a header from about 3 yards on stroke of half time which would have made 3-0 and killed game. Then they fell apart for 30 mins and Gabbiadini levelled before Fox won it lateish. Loved it.

Are these any chance of going on general sale? I need two tickets as coming back to UK for first time in 5 years next week but away section looks unlikely from what I've heard. Will buy in home sections if have to.

He is in good recent article on the Athletic about players selected for England but never got a cap. Was quite an interesting read Tony Coton particularly sad https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5515578/2024/06/09/england-euro-2024-no-caps-wonders/ -
Ipswich biggest humiliation

As a Norwich fan but also a childhood Maidstone supporter today was just awesome
