1.

and only one of those needs at least 8 players......
More like 12 and a lot of backroom staff!
Hopefully we won''t need to rely on the lads from Easton College to help out when the new season starts, but you never know!
 2. Well spotted, Kathy. Interesting, very interesting. Surely, he would tick all the boxes in Delia''s strict criteria as a suitable investor as well??
 3. Impossible for me I''m afraid. I can''t name any City team before 1985 I''m ashamed to admit.
 4.
I live next door to Pele.
I assume you mean our ginger version?
 5.
I used the same video shop as Phil Mulryne apparently.  Oh, and Jim Brennan spotted my norwich shirt and tried to say hello once, but I didn''t recognise him.
If you didn''t recognise Jimbo, how did you know it was Jim Brennan?
 6. I''d rather play for England without hesitation. And if I was playing for City for say £10,000 a week and a big club at home or abroad came in and offered me £40,000 a week, I''d move like a shot (as would all of you if you''re really honest). In fact, I''d probably move for £2,000 a week more. If any of you disagree with this perceived "lack of loyalty" to my hometown club - just imagine being offered a £2,000 a week increase to move to a rival company to where you work now. Would you stay loyal to a firm you''ve worked for for years? I very much doubt it!
 7.

No question, of course.
Here''s the "Barry Fry take." "Hi, Bazza.  Norwich have snatched Cureton.  Smart move? "Bloody smart. Killer in front of goal.  Deadly.  Give him a chance, the boy is there..  You watch out for Grant, he knows what he''s doing.." "Hi, Bazza. Any thoughts on why Cureton hasn''t done it for Norwich? "Simple.  Bloody one season wonder. Over the hill for me.  Grant put his money  on one player - what a w****r. Those not made up: they are actual quotes. To which my daughter received an unasked for addition (right or wrong):  "By the way Marshall in goal is ******* useless.  Do you know what his nickname was at Celtic?" Daughter, falling into trap: "No." Bazza: "Dracula - afraid to come for crosses."
Great stuff, Camul. Bazza is the boy.
 8.
and mark rivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! old smokey himself
Oh yes, the incomparable Mark Rivers.
 9. I was given my name by virtue of the fact that I only have a smallholding!
 10. The fact is Mr Roeder has ballsed it up big time. He sold Joe for peanuts.
 11. I shall probably go to the Spurs game, but that will be all.
 12. I hope you''re not suggesting that Roeder might have cocked-up at all, JB? That would never do.
 13. I very much doubt if our total transfer budget is £3 million pounds, so it''s best to forget about Ameobi methinks.
 14. Incredible stuff! Particularly when you think that these season ticket sales are at least double what the club used to achieve when we were riding high in the Premiership. Two or three seasons of crap football and still the fans want more - that''s what you call true loyalty.
 15. Yep, shoot the bar steward. He was a man totally out of his depth as a manager, although he was probably a reasonable No.2, both for Sven and, several years ago now,  Sir Alex Ferguson.
 16. How about Beckham? I''m cheating slightly as the village is in fact West Beckham, which is situated close to Holt and Sheringham coincidentally. And for all you trivia fans, David Beckham''s ancestors are said to hail from West Beckham.
 17.

In response to question one; is it because Arrdee "is a lovely old boy?" (I felt like screaming as I typed those words).
Now Jock , no doubt you are the sweetest bonbon in the dish and indeed you are the wind beneath my wings , you see you have indeed started to get it right , you lovely old boy , now have you felt like screaming long ? [;)] arrdee.
Respect, Ardee. You responded to my quip with humour and without getting abusive: it''s a pity a few of the more obnoxious posters on here can''t take a leaf from your book. You really are a lovely old boy.
 18.
This forum has always been blighted by the little clique of regular posters who seem to think it exists just for them. I have often posted thoughtful, constructive posts only for the regulars to gang up wtih their "you numpty", "you moron" intolerance and this was going on well before the mods disappeared. Agree with wake up and smell the coffe, at times this forum has been like sitting in the City Stand, if you haven''t been here for years  you are somehow looked down apart as not part of the real Board. I have seen some garbage posted on here, and because of who originanlly posted it the replies run to a dozen pages, other more interesting/original posts vanish off the screen because the regulars don''t look/reply as it;s not by a member of "their club". Viva instant posts, free speech, democracy, and if you don''t like it set up an alternative or use the off button.
In a nutshell, Barclay Boy. There are certainly some lovely old boys on here. Surely this cliquishness is symptomatic of being very Naarfulk - it takes about one hundred years to accept any newcomers. "Oi dunt noo ''im - oi doont think oi wanna gitta noo ''im oither."  Before I''m attacked for being a pseudo-cockney or a scummer, a moron, or whatever, I have to add that I''m Norfolk born and bred myself.
 19.
This is amazing Pete, you are the fountain af ALL knowledge. I think you are wasted just working as part of the web team.
Pete could have a new role as some kind of pink''un Agony Aunt/Uncle.
 20. I see very little difference between this and the old moderated board, to be perfectly frank. The quality of posts has always varied between excellent and extremely poor and I see no reason why this should ever change - unless there is a sudden influx of top-notch journalists, diarists and novelists contributing with posts, of course. The level of profanities has inevitably increased a bit - but not by much - and there always have been plenty of insults and name-calling flying around. Keep it as it is, everything will be alright.
 21. I think I''ll have a little play with 1st Wizard''s balls - I bet he''s in the top 10 of posters!
 22.
can u sit down please - The only ranking system we''ve got is Top 25, 50, 200, etc - this can be found when you hover your cursor over those balls under an avatar. tHeReALSeaT - Point me in the direction of people using your name and I''ll make them change it. Evil Monkey - Depends which meal the wine will be complementing. Blainsey - I was. JaundicedJockGeorgy & Inch-High - Were you not at Brighton in 64? We have better clothes and better music. Dogger & First Wazzock - Yes, go on a diet. PS It''s my birthday tomorrow so be nice! Thanks, Pete. I''ve just had a little play with my balls - that''s pretty neat. By the way, I didn''t think you were old enough to know anything about Brighton in ''64.
23. Good grief! Now that is what I call positive spin.
