  1. I have heard of people calling for blood, but Worthy''s inners is taking it a bit to far.
  2. I actually feel sorry for Worthy this season, he should have been dismissed last season & the new Manager given an opportunity to rebuild. Instead we find ourselves a ¼ of the way through the season not knowing who our Manager will be in 2-3 weeks time. Worthy was not given the backing in the transfer market that was clearly needed & I felt that the beginning of the end started at that point not yesterday. We lurch from 1 embarrassing cock up to another with real fans on the board who are good Business people but do not have a clue how to run a Football club. Worthy’s luck has run out & things could have been very different 2-weeks ago I was thrilled with the start we had made but Hucks injury, a last minute goal v Southend & Palace is a sign of this. I look on feeling pissed off & not an ounce of happiness comes out of the situation the club have put themselves in. The Board have a lot to answer for & there Infinite patience is the clubs undoing, I appeal to the Club to sort this out sooner rather than later before we see the poisonous scenes & fans turning against each other as they did last season. If the Board can learn anything it is that they should not put us through the horrible atmosphere that engulfed FCR last season. The End.
  3. I think you may find that it wouldn''t form part of their contract.
  4. My return to the Pink un board lasted all of about 3-hours, I ask a serious question about a City legend & the children come out. For Mackenzie''s debut he had a collision with Whymark & had to be carried off & it looked quire serious. Back to WOTB for me.
  5. Has anyone heard how Eadie is? I was worried for him after his appearance for Norwich Old boys on Sunday.
  6. Well Mr Foley has been dismissed, I wish him all the best & hope he recovers from his ill health.
  7. First & foremost; negativity of play from day 1 he has been negative, I could understand this when he 1st took over because he had to get us organised, we have never played attractive football under him. If we ever go a goal up it’s lets hang on to what we have got, with the strikers we have there is no need to do that. Signing players & Messing players about, Rivers, Libbra, Jonson, Helveg, Bentley, Rivers, Edworthy, Safri, Malky I could go on. Wasting money: Robinson, Hughes, Louis Jean, Colin, Johansson (I like him but he hardly gets a game), Lisbie, Rehman, Stuart, Not developing youngsters; Crow, Hayes, I don’t see Shackell or Jarvis progressing, in 5-6 years not 1 youngster has come through the ranks & gone on to either be convincing or sold for a fee. Penalties, allowing any player to take a penalty, under him we have a dreadful penalty conversion record, do you think he should look at that & say right X takes the penalty if he’s not on the pitch then Y takes the penalty & so on. Since the play off season when we kept missing pens this has continued right through his tenure. General Set-pieces are awful with Hucks effort on Monday probably being the best I have seen in the time Worthless has been at the Club. His after match comments, Sit-u-ation, notmean, work ethic, can’t fault the players, we are great. Not worth listening to. His general attitude than if we work hard everything will be OK, yes you have to work hard but the difference between teams is the ability of players to pass & move & show flashes of brilliance. He does not like flicks & skill as we have found out after Libbra & Hucks tried things a bit different. Not taking the Club forward when he had a big opportunity too, he preaches continuity but the amount of players who come & go how will we ever have that, we have had a vastly different team for each of the last 3- seasons, the backbone needs to be kept firm. Constantly playing players out of position. A lack of tactics away from home the guy does not have a clue & hasn’t done since Day 1 our away record under him is atrocious. That will do for the time being.
  8. your posts appear anti Norwich & moaning & whinging & some comments over the top, however the truth of the matter is you are an older supporter who has seen how NCFC operate over many years. Your posts recently have been true & accurate & I also as an older supporter fell in to the trap that many other posters on here have & that is believing that this board of directors are ambitious & together as one. Sadly recent events have proven we are a little Football Club with little people running it, with no great ambition. Sadly this means 1st Wiz that your posts are very accurate & your criticism is founded criticism based on experience. Worthy out & the Board can follow close behind IMO & lets get an ambitious board in.
  9. and some of his signings. In this league Purse, Koumas, Cooper would all been assets to us this season.
  10. It most certainly is, we could do with another 3 midfielders including 1 who can play wide right.
  11. As I have previously stated the original advice was to take him off clearly seen by the medical people''s instructions on the sidelines, Worthington said the boy wanted to stay on. It should not have been Ashton''s decision & Worthington should have acted, for christ sake Neil Reynolds thought it was a broken eye socket & Deano is today seeing a Neurologist what more proof do you want that it was dangerous keeping him on the pitch. IMO Worthington went against medical advice.
  12. Who on this messageboard are actually enjoying our style of play & actually enjoying the football matches we are going to see.
  13. Amarillo , Neil Reynolds & the Doctor were clearly signalling to the bench that Deano was not fit to continue, they thought he had a cracked eye socket & thats why he was sent to hospital. It was the managers duty to protect his clearly concussed player & take him off regardless of what Deano was saying.
  14. I ask that because key decisions should have been made on Saturday & the manager passes the buck. Firstly Dean Ashton gets injured as he leaves the field of play he collapses, the Physio & Doctor signal that Deano''s not fit to continue. Worthington says Ashton wants to stay on if the medical staff deem a player unfit to continue which Deano clearly was surely its the managers job to remove him from the pitch. But Worthington failed to 1) Protect his clearly injury stricken player 2) Take his medical teams advice so why have a medical team? When we had the penalty Hucks clearly wanted it & felt confident you could see that Ashton was going to miss the lad could hardly stand up straight, but Worthington says leave it to the players who ever feels confident takes it thats bull, any striker should want to take it but how come Greeno never saves a penalty, I will tell you every team we play are professional they have a pre determined penalty taker who always sticks it in the top corner, not a Sunday morning come on guys I will take it today attitude. Yet agin Worthington passses the buck no managerial decision there. That leads me to set pieces Worthington is clueless in trying to develop different set piece routines from corners we try & lump it in & never beat the first man, we never try a short corner or try any sort of variation. Free kicks are the same just lump it in to their 6,2 centre halfs or goalkeeper or last just blast it no variation. Our preparation & lack of professionalism is costing us dear & I don''t blame the players as they are acting on orders but the manager is a disgrace.
  15. I would go with Zipper cause he talks sense, but I would rather go with my mates cause I like to have fun & not be depressed.
  16. I use to go in the Rose when Alan who looked like the Lion out of the Wizard of Oz use to run it. He hated customers apart from about 5 of us who used to live there. His usual response to a new customer was What do you want? as if they were imposing on his day not surprising he went bust. Does anyone else remember him or have a funny stories about him?
  17. Finance Director Yawn, yawn I too go on the WWW when I want.
  18. Why would I want to replace my screensaver of Hucks scoring at Poorman road
  19. I thought we done well to keep our composure as Northampton were just a bunch of thugs who looked as if they came from the Crusader league. Their striker Elbowed Docherty after 5 minutes & he cut his face, then he done it to Shackell who had a cut then he slid in on Shackell in the 2nd half & was booked all three challenges should have been instant dismissal for violent conduct. Johnson''s tackle on Huckerby was disgraceful & Dyche was just a physcho thank god we don''t play teams like that every week.
  20. I hope we take it seriously we are getting to the stage whereby a win tonight & nice home draw against A premiership reserve side in the next round & we will start to get excited. It will also add confidence to our team.
  21. Here is the link have a look at it. http://www.ipswichtown.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=911&p=2&stid=8391981 The difference YR is that our debt is considerably smaller & included in our repayments there is a capital repayment thus reducing the debt year on year. We also have Capital assets as well as playing assets & a number of these assets are yet to realise the full value. We also receive a parachute payment this & next season. If we needed to we could reduce the debt immediately with the sale of assets & our balance sheet is reasonably strong. They don''t have any assets to sell neither from a capital or a player point of view & will find it tough work in the coming seasons to be a force. I understand the point you are making but feel that we are in a much stronger position financially due to good Board management.
