1. What formation/personnel would you favour for the game today? I''d go for: Ruddy Martin Turner Bennet Garrido Bennett Tettey ONeill Redmond Lafferty Grabban
 2. 18 goals already this season - in 14 games! £5m might be enough to turn their heads and he''s only 23...
 3. A shake up required I think. Ruddy 6 (keep place) Martin 5 (replace with Naughton) Whitbread 5 (replace with Barnett) De Laet 6 (keep place) Tierney 6 (keep place) Fox 6 (keep place) Hoolahan 6 (keep place) Crofts 6 (keep place) Surman 5 (replace with Johnson) Holt 6 (keep place) Morison 7 (keep place)
 4. I thought he was miserable and homesick for Scotland and that was the reason he was having problems. What a load of codswallop!
 5. I dunno. Tiote, Coloccini, Barton (if he stays), Ba, Obertan. They''ve got some pretty handy players, but you are right about the manager. I expect Newcastle to finish in the bottom half along with possibly Everton (although they have lots of quality compared to us too). Can''t wait ''til Saturday - that''ll be the right benchmark for us to draw our conlcusions against. I also like the fact that our team are largely unknown commodities at this level. Nobody, including them, has a clue whether they can cut it. My guess is, some will and some won''t. I fancy Morrison, Holt, Hoolahan, Pilkington, Ruddy and Crofts to do well with Jackson also a possibility. The rest may struggle... I also think that, because some will struggle, we would do well to retain some of the players we are looking to release (at least until we have more back-up). Players like Hughes and McDonald I mean.If we can''t have strength in depth, at least we could have depth. I feel that both of them have the potential to do ok if given the chance (i.e. if other players fail to perform). We don''t want to put all of our eggs in one basket!
 6. Having reviewed the squads this season I think 6 clubs will realistically be battling for survival. Those being: Norwich, Swansea, Wigan, Blackburn, QPR and Wolves. I am reasonably pleased with our Summer signings but am worried about our central midfield and feel we are missing that experienced, quality leader in the middle of the park. I still feel we are short a couple of players and that we may end up buying in January. Really don''t want Ashton syndrome where we bring someone in too late to change things. Our team spirit is our main weapon, and I really have my fingers crossed that it will keep us up. But if I''m honest, I can see us, Wigan and Swansea going down at the end of the season if I look at the teams on paper. Here''s hoping the Lamber effect can keep on working - I''ll be chuffed to bits if I''m proven wrong!

 10. Ginger Pele. Please recognise the difference between defiantly and definitely...
 11. This surprised me to be honest, but our total attendance thus far is the largest in our league (whilst our average attendance is 3rd largest). So we can officially call ourselves the best supported club in the Championship this year! OTBC! http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng.2/english-league-championship?cc=4716
 12. no problems for me - bit sad if you have multiple usernames if you ask me...

Well Raymond - it''s nice to know that one can post a light hearted remark on a message board without fear of some a***hole making comments like this. Go boil your head.
Bit touchy aren''t you? So how is Cody getting on then? What do you think of his performances then? Tvvat.
League 1 - as it says in the original post

 15. No mate - I think he is league 1 standard at LB, Champ standard at CM etc.

 17. Just a bit of fun, but here is my take on who are our best options for each position and their current level: GK 1) Ruddy - low championship 2) Rudd - league 1 3) Steer - league 2 RB 1) Russell Martin - championship 2) George Francomb - league 2 LB 1) Drury - championship 2) Smith - low championship 3) Lappin - league 1 CB 1) Barnett - high championship 2) Ward - high championship 3) Nelson - low championship 4) Whitbread - high league 1 5) Askou - league 1 Wide midfield 1) Hoolahan - high championship 2) Surman - high championship 3) McNamee - championship 4) Lappin - high league 1 5) Daley - low league 1 6) Dawkin - league 2 Central midfield 1) Crofts - high championship 2) Smith - championship 3) Surman - championship 4) Lappin - low championship 5) Fox - low championship 6) Hughes - high league 1 7) Adeyemi - league 1 8) Gill - league 1 9) OTJ - league 1 Attacking midfield 1) Hoolahan - high championship 2) Surman - high champtionship 3) McNamee - high league 1 Target men 1) Holt - championship Centre forwards 1) Jackson - high championship 2) Martin - low championship 3) McDonald - league 1 4) Johnson - league 1 Based on this, in order to maintain momentum in this league over the course of a season I''d say we need: -a big strong striker -cover at RB -a keeper -Barnett I dont think we can afford to play any non-championship standard players if we are to mount a serious bid for promotion. What do you lot think?

 19.

Expect 10 signings tomorrow of Kris Boyd, Fraser Forster, Nicky Bailey, Paddy McCarthy, Darren Ambrose, Jason Koumas, Michael Chopra, Andy O''Brien, Jimmy Abdou and Bradley Orr for the joint sum of £500K. But seriously City might have already signed someone but are waiting to finalise the deal with another player so they are unveiled together like Whitbread was with Oli.
HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS???? have you spotted them all in Asda???[;)]
hoo hoo!!! sigh...
