Was reported by Sky as being £4 million... Just wondering how we managed to get him this cheap when Everton were bidding £8.5 million for him in January!
January prices tend to be inflated (in part why we got Hooper for less than we offered then), that £8.5m may be an overestimate, and supposedly (according to Tangible) the £4m or so quoted for us does not include various add-ons that take the price much higher.
Why do you now post everything in blue?[:^)]
He''s a Binner! Lol! -
I do like Toivonen. He could be the Holt replacement (because Becchio isn''t good enough) and give us the option of a line leader, but can play other roles.
I like the idea of Toivonen but will he come here, that is the question?!? BTW., blue reminds me of the horrible Binners, please be a good chap and use purple instead. Thank you. -

Given that Tilson had appeared on MOTD. thanks to his NCISA connections then I suspect the BBC. had his number on record and gave it a ring. -

Before falling out with Frank de Boer and not playing for Ajax during 2011-12 his record between 07-08 to 2010-11 looks ok to me: 2007-08 AZ Alkmaar 11 + 12 apps 7 goals 2008-09 AZ A. 31 apps 23 goals 2009-10 AZ. A. 26 + 1 apps 20 goals 2010-11 Ajax 25 + 1 apps 13 goals 2012-13 Florentina 3 + 16 apps 3 goals DOB. 14/7/84 Born in Rotterdam Has played for the Netherlands U21 (3 apps 1 goal) and for Morocco (5 apps 2 goals) 6'' tall -

YS72, Interesting to see us linked with this player. I have never heard of him myself or seen him come to it... So just looked him up on Wiki to see what type of player and his record. Seems like he has scored goals at every level he has played at, being very prolific at certain points in the career. Big name managers have been both been in favour and against his inclusion to the starting eleven by the looks of things. At 2million, I would see it as a calculated gamble myself.
His record last season was not impressive. Only three starts. and substituted in two of those. Sixteeen times coming on as a sub. It might explain why Fiorentina would be willing to sell, despite having lost Jovetic. Or the story might be a load of tosh. Season tickets
Tangible Fixed Assets anyone? replied to CANARYKING's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I prefer the traditional season tickets.......
So you could rip a ticket out of a book and hand it to the person at the turnstile? Then there were the green cushions hurled out of the Main (now known as the GW.) stand towards the ref and linos.......those were the days! -

I have to disagree with a number of you re the contribution of Francis during the second half of our Premiership season under Worthy. -
Mentioned in the SSN piece about RVW today... felt a little like they expect it to happen but I am probably reading too much into that. Still, nice to see SSN at the club shop doing a piece even though there was no news- that''s more a Newcastle, Man U, Chelsea kind of thing usually.
Snap! Unfortunately I didnt hear everything they said about Quag. other than Italian and Juventus. -
I''m sure Hull and Palace must be favourite to go down; Stoke, Sunderland, Cardiff and us in the mix for the other spot. Swansea will be on the cusp of a sixth place finish.
I agree about Hull and Palace finishing in the bottom two places. As for the third relegation place, I think you can add Fulham and West Ham United to your group.
The rumours of a Burnley switch have been around for a while.
A move to Burnley for Fox wouldn''t surprise me given that McCann left (as he was out of contract) Burnley for Wigan this summer. -
Tottenham had to play a friendly with no centre backs the other day due to injuries, I think they will make a quick move for him in the not to distant future.
Plus the fact they already have a couple of Belgians already there to make him feel welcome.
