  1. Got some guy and his friend behind me who constantly cry 'FORWARD' when we're playing it around the back. If you don't like it I'd advise you go and watch some local football because it's commonplace now. The stats show that it's successful and leads to more chance creation that just aimlessly pumping the ball up to the strikers and looking for scraps off them. We weren't at our best last night, but we also barely needed to try to get a two goal lead. Be careful what you wish for.
  2. The facilities at Colney are fantastic. World class, I don't know, but they are very impressive.
  3. Yep it did, but it still allows for a scenario where Foulger remains as well in response to Essex's point.
  4. In Michael Bailey's Athletic article he says that one of the resolutions passed last night allows for a Director to be appointed/remain in place without a shareholding. You will all know better than me if that is the case or not? Therefore he could remain despite selling his shareholding to Attanasio.
  5. I'm pretty sure the foundation of the OSP predates the findings of the Crouch Report as we discussed it in a meeting late last year.
  6. Yeah exactly, I think there were just lots of questions around how it would work/how the club could officially sanction it. As @Lessingham Canary says, we weren't told it was definitely happening, or when it would happen, just asked for general opinions on a drum at games.
  7. The last meeting took place before the new season started.
  8. We were consulted about the drum. I think the general opinion was it could be good, but needed to be done properly. I made it clear that if they were going to do it, they shouldn't put it outside of the crowd, but in the Barclay or Snakepit, because you need people around the drummer to actually generate any sort of chant from it. That's why it seems to work at away grounds. I'm not sure whether that is covered in the minutes though. I'm sure the general atmosphere is something we could discuss at the next meeting.
  9. I did ask Giannis to visit a month or so ago, he obviously ignored me. I'm going to see a Bucks game next month though, so I'll try and invite him again then 🤣
  10. Not sure if anyone has noticed that Tom Werner's (Liverpool Chairman) son is a VP at the Brewers. So I'm sure that will have played a part in Attanasio's interest. The Brewers also have a lot of links to the Bucks (NBA) so we're talking about some serious sport and brand experience coming to the club.
  11. Nothing beyond that they've taken our feedback on board.
  12. They are extremely bright, on that we are agreed. It has been fed back to the club as well, but that hasn't seemed to have made much of a difference. I saw it as an attack because in your own words, apparently the club having the lights on rubs peoples 'noses in it', that's obviously not the intention at all.
  13. Come on, the club didn't know that there would be an energy crisis when they started the process of installing the new lights. Bit of a weird thing to attack them on, unless this is tongue in cheek which I hope it was.
  14. I think it's both, and covid has definitely played a big part in us getting to this situation. There are definitely clubs in the league now who are not interested in playing football against teams who can, previously you might have a few of these towards the bottom of the table, but it now seems to be at least half of the league - I don't think you can blame finances entirely on that, there is nothing stopping a bottom half side actually trying to play football rather than just trying to 'stop' teams playing. And then there has definitely been a shift in broad financial strategy at a lot of clubs, and that definitely benefits us as we'd already been running a 'sustainable' model for years and we also get that very important PL money now and again. For years clubs have been living well beyond their means, and fans need to accept that that was definitely UNsustainable. We should be proud that our club have got themselves into a position where we can be both sustainable and, relatively, successful.
  15. Does it drive them as mad as people who spell Forest Forrest? Because I keep seeing it again and again.
  16. I don't think it's entitlement, more that people know all the games are being filmed and broadcasted in some sense so why not make them available for consumption? The answer to that is the intricacies of the broadcast deals, but it doesn't mean that it couldn't change in the future (but as per @shefcanary's post, it won't).
  17. I'm sure I have seen things in the past which show that piracy is actually a net positive for broadcasters in most circumstances. The effort that has to be used to find a decent stream nowadays means that for the majority they'll either give up or pay the fee anyway. If you've gone to the effort of finding a stream, and another 10k around the globe have also done it, there is zero chance that they were going to be paying customers in the first place. The way to reduce piracy is by offering good value legitimate solutions, as seen in the early success of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify etc etc. But I believe the club are hamstrung slightly by the intricacies of the EFL Digital deal that exists for other clubs (doesn't impact home games of course) and of course the Sky deal and the 3pm blackout.
  18. This reads to me that if you purchase/defer purchase of the C shares then at a time in the future you can then convert them to 10% of any Ordinary Shares that are currently unallocated + whatever portion that would remain from existing issued shares to hit 10%.
  19. Yes, it's strangely worded. Good news though, a fresh face on the board is needed.
  20. Ah, we're making assumptions. I heard it was Robert Chase coming back for a last hurrah and the American stuff is a smokescreen 👀
  21. Well, have they ever been on the pitch at the same time this season? 👀
  22. I think that is more a consequence of the 5 changes, which seem to turn all games into pre season friendlies.
  23. They weren't quite as bright last night as they were for the Birmingham game.
