  1. It is still not a certainty we will not go up, a slim chance I admit, but the chance is still there for the taking if the teams above us flop.
  2. Remember it is not over, until the fat lady sings . There is still hope.
  3. Being appointed to Norwich City is an appointment from heaven. Guaranteed at least 18 months or so employment,at a good salary, fail at the job and get kicked out with a golden handshake. Nice if you can get it. There must be dozens if not hundreds of pundits on this message board who could do the job and who knows one off them might succeed and City would be straight back in the Premiership (or maybe not).😁
  4. Did they actually get paid for that shambles today?. They would have a better performance fielding a Sunday morning village football team instead.
  5. Anyone know what evening the open top bus relegation parade through the city is booked so crowds can gather en route to cheer Delia on the top deck at the front waving her yellow and green scarf, with Webber and the team officials behind her followed by all the players
  6. I really thought we could have pulled off a win today, but sadly this was not to be.
  7. Only 5 (Sorry 6) goals needed to beat Spurs now -- On the Ball City-- would be good to see them go out on a high
  8. Not surprised at the attitude of the Liverpool fans. Over the years I have known quite a few Liverpudlians and have come to the conclusion that they believe they are God's gift to the world, they know the lot and it is useless to argue with them, they are always right, even when they are obviously wrong to everyone else. If you treat them as your superiors, and always agree with them, you will get on fine with them. Incidentally my best friend, for many years, until he sadly passed away, was a Liverpudlian.
  9. Instead of looking at all the negative things from this season let’s look at all the positives . . .
  10. It will be our last chance to see the team before it is put up for sale as a job lot in a "bargain bin" in Poundland. buy any one get one free 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  11. We'll be singing When we're losing We'll be singing 2x We get knocked down But we go up again They're never going to keep us down Pi$$ing the games away Pi$$ing the games away We kick a ball about We kick a ball about We lose another game We lose another game We recall the games that inspired us Of the good times We sing the songs that remind us Of the better times On the ball City Never mind the danger Steady on, watch your step We’ve conceded another goal
  12. Could not agree more -- a message to the management and the team.
  13. I doubt anyone will see Delia, she only is seen when they are winning. If they were up at the top of the Premiership this year you could not keep her out of the media, plastered all over the front page of the EDP and several inside pages too and doing an interview on Look East, waving her yellow and green scarf.
  14. Could make a start next season, getting used to the predicted floods by playing in rubber boots and speedos instead of football boots and shorts. Delia and Webber could man the Carrow Road lifeboat to help those getting into difficulties.
  15. Two at home and two away. I hope these last two home matches particularly the last game against Spurs can provide an opportunity for the Canaries fans to give a standing ovation to the management and staff and particularly the players for providing the opportunity this season to see some of the most exciting and hard fought matches iever seen in the Premiership. A credit to all. So let's be having you, waving the yellow and green as we make our way sadly down the ladder to the Championship once more. No doubt Delia, Smith and Webber will be giving the players a slap-up meal in Delia's Restaurant to show thier appreciation for all the hard worrk and effort given by the team this season and maybe even a holiday in the sun somewhere.
  16. Bless them, they played their hearts out today to avoid relegation, what an heroic performance they gave.
  17. Has Delia booked the open-topped bus for a relegation celebration trip around the city and a chance for the fans to cheer their team and officials as they stand on the City Hall balcony ?
  18. It is rare to see Delia when the Canaries are losing. When they are winning pictures appear of her in the local Press and TV all dressed up in yellow and green and waving her scarf and williing to be interviewed by anyone at anytime and singing the praises of the Canaries.
  19. We have to look in the long term to see the potential in players such as Gibson and Plachenta, they could easily be the star players of the future, given time.
