  1. Why can't the powers that be, see how simple it could be, as you said either passport or neg test for entry, I suppose the logistics of checking everyone would be a nightmare, so random checks wood be the answer I suppose.
  2. How is it that those not vaccinated are deemed a threat in an open air venue, but can go sit in a pub with 60/70 other people and watch the football, have the experts actually thought this out,
  3. You do know that vaccinated people can still get COVID, can carry COVID and spread COVID, I'd rather people had to flow test day of match, that would be better and safer. And yes I'm vaccinated.
  4. Don't get me wrong, he's not the greatest thing ever, but I think he's done a good job with what he inherited and the way he has turned the club round, I can think of a few clubs who wish they were run as well as us who are now struggling.
  5. Agree with your points about previous promotions, but they still ended in short stays in premier, and they led to the troubles that Webber had to sort out. He still signed the coaches that made a difference to the two clubs he has been DoF at, he can only put the people in charge that he think will do the job as successfully as possible, ie the coaching of young players, which is what Daniel did well, would another DoF have taken a risk on 2 unknown coaches. So to say he is the worst we have ever had is doing SW a disservice. He has probably made mistakes but not any that put the club at risk.
  6. How you can you call a man incompetent, who has taken over a club 24 mill in debt, and an over paid and aging playing staff and crap training facilities. And turned us round to being debt free, two promotions based on good young players coming through the new and improved training facilities. And in his career only appointing two managers (David Wagner and Daniel Farke) who both proved to be reasonably successful. And now appointing his third coach who only time will tell if successful.
  7. Or he could have the attitude to prove villa they were wrong to sack him, and will be right up for the fight required
  8. I assume with M Bailey being one of the trusted journals, he wouldn't have tweeted DS being offered the job if there wasn't some truth in it
  9. In defence of SW, his record of signing managers D Wagner and D Farke have both reasonably successful on the whole. When he sacked Farke he probably had a couple of names on his short list and then D Smith became available, which might have made him have a rethink, and that Dean would be a better fit then the names he had. If that is the case then I'm prepared to give SW the benefit of the doubt, and it is not the **** up that so many think it is.
  10. Micheal Bailey has just tweeted that Frank didn't wish to be considered for the job at stage of his so called career and so didn't get offered job. And I would prefer to believe the local jorno's then national ones to let me know what's going on. I mean a few years ago according to national press we had Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink signed sealed as manager
  11. Neither Frank Lampard or Dean Smith were ever on the alleged list of 2, why does everyone believe the rubbish being spouted by sky sports and talksport. Just to cover there backsides, sky sports are now saying Frank has turned the job down, how could he turn down a job he was never offered.
