Why would we NOT want to get promoted?! Look at west brom, they spent a few years going up and down, building a quality side and i''m guessing earning a lot of money! And now, they seem to have settles in the premiership with a very good looking team!

Went to the game yesterday and what a game it was! However, watching the back four, i got a little panicky/worried (don''t know if it was just me) as they seem to have this new confidence in themselves and ruddy, by passing the ball around to eachother ALOT, and having seen this type of play backfire in the past and in many other games it worried me. Just wondered if anybody else had anything else to say on the matter? Do you want to see the defence just getting the ball away, not neccessarily "hoofing" it but just not playing around so much? As many times yesterday the defence managed to easily give the ball away in areas it shouldnt be given away in! (this isn''t a moan btw, just wanted to see what everyone else made of it!)

Okay, well Russel may not have had teh best game of his career, but seriously, to all the Russel haters, who are we sensibley (excuse the spelling) going to replace him with? Mcnally was in an interview with SSN this afternoon saying there was money in the budget for 1 or 2 more players, so who would you have? And what would they bring to the team?!

I don''t really get why everyone is suddenly panicking!? It''s ONE game! After 10 games you can then start to see how the season is shaping up!

I just thought little bits surman did, like the odd pass and the free kick, showed he could be a better player once properly settled. I agree with the Holt martin partnership, as they know eachothers game inside out as well, which i think at championship level is needed!

I was watching the game on sky, and from what i saw we were?! we were the better footballing side, as in we actually passed it around etc, watford had few chances and took them well!

I''m not going to be a huge whiner as i thought first half we were much the better side, although as Watford proved that was nothing to do with it, it''s all about taking your chances! One thing i didnt agree with though was the long ball tactic being used well over half the time, I just wanted to see the likes of fox ( who had a very quiet game ) come and offer the defence a way out as he''s meant to be a ball playing midfielder, and interlink the play all the way through the team like wesley hulahoop seems to! Surman showed glimpses tonight of what a player i think he will be, and by the looks of it he''s pretty good over free kicks! Am looking forward to seeing the possibility of Holt and Jackson up top together, see how the Powerful target man figure and the nippy striker partnership goes... Don''t know if anyone would agree or disagree with anything i''ve said?!
