New Striker? An idea!!
Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to Jersey Canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
From what I gather Austin doesn''t have much pace and I think pace and size is what we are looking for going forward.
Personally I''d rather take a goal scorer over a 100m runner! Austin has scored 20 goals in 24 games this season, and he''s only 23 years old (so still developing his game). -
Conclusions from today

It''s TETTEY, NOT Tetty. Just like is HUGHTON, NOT Houghton!!! -

I''d much prefer Charlie Austin.. -
did bunn cost us today?
Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to Syteanric's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Coming out and going to ground for the second goal was crazy.... He didn''t get back on his line giving djeko an open goal... For the 3rd goal, aguero is running out of space, his only option would have been to try and blast it into the far post if bunn holds his line... By coming out he exposed himself to the chip.... The 4th was just bad luck, but the 2 examples above and we would''ve won 3 2.... Bunn seems a panicky goalkeeper, which leads to his decision making and positioning going to pot.... I can''t help but wonder what the score would have been with ruddy.
What a lazy, ill-informed thread! Second goal, Bunn was sorely let down by Javier Garrido, if Garrido stays on the line where he originally covers dzeko doesnt have a tap in! Third goal, Bunn is helpless, if anything Bassong must do better, Bunn does everything he can, no keeper would stay on his line, the whole point is that you''re trying to narrow the angle to make it harder for the striker to hit the target, but he''s been beaten by a sublime finish! I wish everyone would stop comparing Bunn to Ruddy, they are different people and Ruddy is injured, so no Ruddy wouldn''t have done better because hes hobbling around being injured you fool!! -
I really hope he plays tomorrow!! Put him in for Howson, who has been underperforming (possibly because he is being played far too deep). Foxy is an exquisite ball player and has the ability to control the tempo of the game with his range of passing. Lets just cross our fingers and hope Hughton recognises what a player he really is!!

Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to jb's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

Saturday's team?
Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to Brucie's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Ruddy Martin Bassong Barnett Garrido Fox Johnson Howson E.Bennett Snodgrass Holt Get the balls into the channels and you can guarentee a good delivery from either winger, also playing howson with a bit more freedom instead of shackling him in a holding role, give him freedom to roam, as that where you''ll see the best from him! BTW - What has happened to pilks? I haven''t heard anything about him for a few weeks!! -

Don''t get me wrong, I''m not looking for a scapegoat, I''m simply airing my views on how ill-timed I feel the announcement was -

I do hope you''re right. -

Paul do you just sit alone in the dark listening to grunge music? You are a hyper-depressive person Seek help
If you always fear the worst you can never be disappointed, but can actually feel ecstatic when the worst does not happen. That''s a great philosophy and has stood me in good stead IMO.
You need you head examining pal!

I must say, 48 hours (give or take) before what is now looking like another HUGE game for norwich city, he goes and drops all this news on us, surely the players will be affected by all the negativity flying around! I think it was an idiotic act by a man in such power, and I for one am very disappointed! I do think that with all this off the field nonsense going on will not help in any way whatsoever, and feel we will be on the end of a hell of a thumping tomorrow (sorry to be so negative). Hopefully I am wrong and we can pull off something tomorrow now Holty has found his scoring boots!! OTBC!

Are you going to clap Lambert?
Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to Yellow Messiah's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
None of you seem to realise that it was Norwich City suing Paul Lambert that started this all off.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19845553 -
FAO: David McNally
Stupid, Norwich would still be in league 1 or championship if it weren''t for miracle worker Lambert. There are 2 sides to every story.
I have to agree thouroughly with this!! -
There are 2 sides to every story.. Just wait to see what our beloved CEO David McNally has to say for himself!

Have to agree, in the past have been one of his critics, but last night he showed that he is still a very good player! -
Bassong Injury
Weve (no longer) Got Angus replied to Tetteys Jig's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Imo , that means we can forget a result against any of the next three opponents... judging the Turner performance... sorry but that''s just how I feel about it. He was at fault for the only goal yesterday and Bassong''s been brilliant for us. I hope Bennett gets another chance
Bit of a ridiculous comment really.. -

Title says it all really.... Who would you have in, and on which leg??
Jackson - on his right leg Tierney - on his left leg Hoolahan - on his left leg then his right leg The Horse - on his middle leg.............
I did wonder who''d be the first to make a comment like that!!
