  1. Don’t get me started on Sargent - catastrophic waste of our precious funds.
  2. So here’s the reality......he’s a young lad who doesn’t deserve the ignorant vitriol he’s attracted. Ok he hasn’t set the world alight but he’s been no worse than the rest of the dross out there on the pitch - occasionally better. And he was never the player we needed - but thats not his fault. The abuse from the stands is unforgiveable - how would you feel if that was your 20 old son out there? The real killer point that MsRudd makes though is that the club has failed to learn anything from our last sojourn in the Premier League - this time (quite unbelievably) we’ve ended up being worse - a ‘diluted’ version of the last abject attempt. For the first time in 45+ years of support I’m thoroughly embarrassed to be a Norwich fan.
  3. Take a minute to read the comment article about Norwich today in the sports section - brutal but rings true
  4. Agree he’s a young player, not the finished article etc etc - problem is twofold. He seems to lack some very basic skills - the ability to trap the ball, pass the ball and/or send it vaguely in the direction of goal. Accepting he’s one for the future I just can’t see what the club thought was worth his fee......and of course we don’t have time in the PL to train up players in the heat of battle. We just need a bit of experience on loan in Jan........
  5. I think some of you are mistaking Dean Smith for Paul Daniels
  6. Let’s remember Dean Smith isn’t a magician - he’s inherited a side who were frankly clueless in the first 10 games and with confidence shattered - there will be ups and downs but I think we’re in good hands
  7. Jim fixed it for josh to play in the PL.......now then, now then
  8. I wonder if he’s thinking about another season in the championship and a missed opportunity to get his big move to Bayern Munich or similar - that would mess with anyone’s head
  9. Got his big chance to impress tonight - missed opportunity. Look forward to getting Milot back - we missed him
  10. Can’t trap a ball, can’t pass accurately, no composure in front of goal........cannot understand why he’s still getting picked. Idah really made a difference when he got his chance
  11. The problem I’m afraid is that while Daniel Farke may still ‘believe’ it’s clear now that his players don’t. He’s lost the faith and the confidence of the players - anyone watching the Chelsea game could see that the confidence issues are very deep rooted. If we concede the first goal on Sunday then I can see heads dropping again and the outcome from there is predicable.
  12. Really troubled by the vitriol directed toward a young man who is obviously struggling. Truth is none of usreally know what’s going on in his personal life. It’s obviously pretty bad. Yes these guys get v well paid but they are still young lads dealing with massive scrutiny and personal criticism. on his day he’s a wonderful player who has contributed greatly to some terrific results in the past. Certainly not time to write him off - I for one hope he gets back in the team and gets back to his previous form
