Yes but our failure to even give the likes of Matos previously and Aboh recently a chance to even be on the bench in Cup games is making youngsters like these 2 disillusioned. Even before Farke we gave youngsters a chance but lately it seems to have stopped. If as we are led to believe the plan is to bring these guys on and have a pathway to the first team and then be sold for big money is true, why are they not getting a real chance?

So as I lay in my bed here in the Middle East last night, I got to thinking just how weak our squad actually is. We had the 18 on duty last night plus Hanley, Placheta and Batth and a few youngsters out on loan. It really shows the lack of depth we have currently and highlights how it needs a major overhaul in the Summer. Problem is we have little or no money which means likely sale of either Sara or Rowe sadly. If we did actually get promoted the amount needed to buy the required players wouldn’t even be covered by what we would earn. Its a really sad state of affairs that the squad looks so thin now.

Tbh, they love their football here but they are more interested in the big European teams. It will be like the Chinese League I think in that they attract big name players to start but eventually they won’t come, many of them are dissatisfied already as the standard of player here is far lower than top European players. They are very fanatical here about their National sides though
