  1. Loved Tettey, wasn’t here to score goals but that’s a peach. Can see him back at City one day in a coaching/ management role.
  2. Ahh, I had forgotten Phil’s brother was there.
  3. With an ankle that needs protecting I would be more worried seeing him being pushed too far in training day in day out. What matters is match day and at the moment he is scoring for fun with the club managing his load. Great news.
  4. Absolutely, the Gov are struggling to prop up the country- file under not happening.
  5. More than happy, we made it a slog at times but 3 points and top six for tonight. Take that. OTBC.
  6. Dean Ashton summed it up, we’re fragile when we are in a lead, at 2-0 we seem to retreat into our shell. Yes we won, but as always this season it seems unnatural/odd, however you want to call it. I think with a stronger manager/ better tactics with this squad we achieve a play off place. Yes we are there atm, but it’s a slog. Anyway entertaining game and three point OTBC
  7. Just read the reasoning for Sainz coming off was DW thought he was on a yellow???? Surely one of the bench could have checked with the 4th official to confirm, but bizarre.
  8. Remember being a young lad of 16 playing in a pretty good men’s team, took a throw in half way in my own half a played it back towards my goal to our right back who probably wasn’t best placed and instantly got an earful of pretty blue language from the captain, after that it was thrown forward and well away from danger every time for the next 25 years.
  9. Not getting too carried away on the playoff predictions yet, yes we are on good form atm but we rely on Sargent staying fit, the stats thread illustrate just how crucial he is to our game.
  10. He is looking good, passion reminds me of Emi.
  11. Think I would rather cut my todger off with a rusty blade than support Celtic. I will keep the reasons to myself, but memories last.
  12. Don’t often agree with you Rob James, but 100% with you on this matter.
  13. Chicken, agreed. It’s like the Elephant in the room always. Do we play with one? No …because we don’t have that option, do we need one? …love to ask that question to our CBs. It’s so bloody obvious. If our Academy focus is on anything it should be nurturing one, it’s becoming painfully obvious we can not afford to buy a fit one.
  14. So we are still all good in the DM department? The fact that Forshaw was a busted flush doesn’t negate the fact we are STILL crying out for one!
  15. A London club for sure…pick from one of West Ham, Brentford or Palace.
  16. Powder being kept dry until the window shuts. If it stays as is there is a clear message there and I don’t think Wagner will be smiling much about it.
  17. Made me chuckle, actually got in a taxi in Bristol this week, the driver, a Liverpool fan thought Wagner might be the next manager because of his friendship with Klopp.😃😂
  18. In my mind the maths do not work atm, we sent back Hwang and then swapped like for likes so we are still one striker down. Yes we have the Sarge back, but we are still an injury or two from being Liam Gibbs up front.
