I was at all the Cup Run games but never heard that song before. Certainly brought back memories. Will never forget long miserable train journey back after the Luton defeat at St Andrews. Have hated Luton ever since and even more so this season!!!

Best part of the match was the Taverham Band playing outside the shop before the match.

Agree the endless sideways and backwards achieve nothing. Why doesn’t Gunn give a quick throw and get us on attack rather than wait until the opposition are all back in position. So frustrating and asking for trouble. Even when we have a throw in an attacking position it usually ends up at the back again. Patrick Roberts seemed out to impress with some good runs. We discarded him.

A few seasons ago at Portman Road a Norwich fan standing some way behind my friend and I threw a yellow flare which landed by our feet. We didn’t notice straightaway but by the time we did her jacket, which was on the floor, had melted in places and my jacket was covered in yellow dust. Steward didn’t want to know as he said he was from Colchester!!

I’ve also complained about the extremely loud pre match “music”. Don’t mind having music but can’t hold a conversation over it. I’ve been told the players choose the music but can they hear it in the dressing room?

Have watched Adam Idah since he was in our Under 18s. He was always tall but now has developed more physique and is therefore stronger. He has been unlucky not to get a run of games over the last couple of seasons having COVID twice I recall and then injury. He’s also performed quite well for Ireland. Still think he will make it.

I remember Bunny. Lots of girls had a crush on him! He married a girl from Plumstead Estate where I lived.

Quite an entertaining game. Patrick Roberts some decent touches for Sunderland but now replaced by a bearded Alex Pritchard. Harrison Reed now on for Fulham. Interesting to see ex players.

It seemed a strange appointment despite him doing well during his time in Germany.

Bet my dad was there. He lived in Spitalfields off Ketts Hill and went to The Nest as a boy. I have a photo of him in the crowd at a match in the 1920s.

His goal against us is shown among his best Premier League goals on BBC website. Lots of nasty monkey chanting from The Snake Pit I recall.

Even so, he still chases the ball down around the area in the hope of a mistake. Not seen early enough when he makes a run - same for Idah. Sergeant tries hard but hasn’t got the skill or kudos of Pukki.

They often seem to have the lights on when there is something going on in Top of the Terrace but it does seem extravagant with the current cost of electricity.

Still holiday time and evening kick off not good for many.

They had too many tall hefty players.

A bit worrying that Watford have now lost two games. A bit unlikely they will lose three - or is it?
