  1. It all really depends on how much he wants vs how much we can afford to pay. My gut feeling is the club are keen on Montoia making the step up as I’ve heard a lot of promising things coming out of Colney about him.
  2. Decent goal but nothing earth shattering defending was poor but a nice finish.
  3. When you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. Also very handy for things to consider when building accas
  4. A city is better than a town. So I have no problem reminding others we are better than them.
  5. It’s hard to judge someone on barely 20 mins of first team football.
  6. We don’t have much money and we have made it clear our ethos as a club is to develop young players. It’s hard to develop young players if you never trust them to come off the bench and do a job for you. For me it’s a poor excuse. Farke threw Aarons straight in the deep end and his trust was rewarded.
  7. I don’t dispute Barnes not being as mobile as Sarg but what he is effective at is supporting and holding up play for another striker. I like Gibbs but swapping a striker for a midfielder will always be negative in my view.
  8. It’s a tough situation but I’m in the school of win the points you have before you worry about the points you don’t. Let’s see what Wagner comes out and says in he post game interview
  9. If the season points total came from away form we’d finish 19th. I believe our home form would see us 3rd or 4th.
  10. Tactical no. Pre planned. Yes. That’s the problem for me. Wagner may well come out and say he asked to come off due to injury. Which if he did there’s not much you can do. I have a feeling though this was more to do with them deciding he could / should only play 60 mins.
  11. The bench is absolutely lacking in established names. That being said I think if he’d waited 10 more mins for Sarg and swapped him for SvH or Aboh so we didn’t sit back so much that would have mitigated the absence of Sarg.
  12. I think there’s an element of both to be fair. players must take responsibility for not putting the game to bed in the first half when we should of scored 4-5 by half time. Wagner must take some responsibility for knowing the game wasn’t dead and putting more priority over managing Sargents minutes before ensuring points are secure.
  13. I think if Wagner was serious about keeping attacking intent when taking off Sarg he brings on SvH or Aboh rather than Gibbs. Gibbs was a negative sub.
  14. I get managing his minutes. My issue with it is win the points in front of you before you worry about the next ones. At 2-0 it’s far from won. I’d of rather gone into the Preston game 7 points off 7th than 4.
  15. I thought we dominated for 60 mins and played some brilliant stuff and the game totally turned when Sarg came off
  16. I don’t think I’ve seen a game like this where for 60 mins of a game we were totally dominant. One sub then followed by the worst 30 I’ve probably ever seen. Was worst than Sunday league bad the last 30.
  17. I get where you’re coming from that before the 2nd goal it makes sense but after it? We should have been 6-0 up at half time and out of sight we’ve only lost this game through poor game management.
  18. I don’t think I’ve seen a side lose control of a game as quickly by simply taking one player off.
