But there isn’t any actual evidence that they don’t. He just isn’t prepared to play his one signing because he clearly isn’t good enough. That’s a Knapper problem, not a Wagner one
-
You say you can’t see Wagner being in charge next season but there is no logical reason that he won’t be. We are sitting in the top 2 in the form table this calendar year and our realistic target of getting into the playoffs will be hit
-
My instant reaction when I first saw him was that he doesn’t move or look like a footballer. Nothing I’ve seen in the very few minutes since has made me think otherwise. The management team see him every day and clearly they are also of the opinion he isn’t up to the standard that’s required

Just a really bizarre piece of business to let Idah go who was getting minutes and scoring some important goals and then get this fella in as his replacement. We as fans clearly haven’t seen much of him, but it’s very clear that the management team have seen enough to decide he isn’t up to the task.

Arsenal match last night

I think ( not 100% sure though ) that the only situation where handling the ball In the area can lead to an indirect free kick is if the keeper handles a back pass -

He’s clearly misjudged the situation but in a game where every incident will be over analysed to the point of a perfectly good goal being disallowed because a toe nail is offside the game should then be played to the letter of the law. The ball was in play and is therefore a penalty for handball, nothing else can be awarded. It’s the sort of incident you’d laugh about in Sunday league football but not expect in the champions league. -

I have to disagree about that. The referee whistles and the keepers kick brings the match into play, at that point it’s irrelevant of the mix up and the referee saying it’s a “kids mistake” This is professional football and a champions league quarter final. It has to be a penalty -

I’m not sure picking the ball up in the area is trivial. Tuchel certainly doesn’t think it is and I’m sure we would be screaming for it. I’ve never seen an incident quite like it https://x.com/centregoals/status/1777971850167067092?s=46&t=12k3jEugNq5vxKFcnDRw6g -
A bit off topic but I’ve only just seen this. How exactly is this not a penalty? One of the most bizarre incidents I’ve seen recently in a match. It has to be a handball as he picks the ball up! https://x.com/tenhagway/status/1777934107411902792?s=46&t=12k3jEugNq5vxKFcnDRw6g Edit: the clip has now been removed its still on this link https://x.com/cannavaro08/status/1777953945815597168?s=46&t=12k3jEugNq5vxKFcnDRw6g

Could be the game that decides our season
Virtual reality replied to Yellowhammer's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Yeah I agree with that and the rate we’ve crumbled when in front is appalling but I believe the players on the pitch have to hold a lot of the responsibility for Tuesday night. The two chances I’ve mentioned were big chances that should have been taken and had they have been no one is questioning the sub of Sargent, we’re then just happy he’s rested for the next game. -

Can’t blame Wagner for players not taking clear cut chances. Both Stacey and Sara should have put the game to bed in the second half after the subs were made. -

Coventry are not the only team we need to be looking over our shoulders at though -

It really shows how much of a failure the January window was. Idah would have replaced Sargent and offered a decent outlet. Instead his replacement is sat on his **** on the bench and doesn’t even look capable -
