Potential Title Celebrations
Wrathofthefarkely replied to Duncan Edwards's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Bearing in mind you can meet up outside and social distance, and the disease is all but gone right now, why on earth not go out and celebrate at the ground? -
Quintilla or Giannoulis?
Wrathofthefarkely replied to TeemuVanBasten's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The fact he hasnt been part of the core group would suggest that. -
How much are we spending this summer
Wrathofthefarkely replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The question is basically how long is a piece of string. Its not even just about transfer fees. Pointless discussion. -

Crucify the ringleaders, tear down the stadiums, enslave the populace, and salt the land. Too severe? -
Official transfer rumour thread
Wrathofthefarkely replied to Bill's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Hanley is a superb champ defender. That says all you need to know. Gibson is a far better defender and ball player. We need another Gibson. -
With next season very much in mind...
Wrathofthefarkely replied to unique's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The fantasy and fallacy of more time and space in the Premier league has been proven wrong so obviously, that I cannot believe people still cling to it. Players are closed down and have less time than in any other league in the world. -

Squad and Assessment End of Summer '21.
Wrathofthefarkely replied to chicken's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The initial poster ignores the prospect that beunda, cantwell, and Aarons might not be in the squad. -
It sits very uncomfortably with me that we go up, and then sell one of our best players, with buendia also likely to go if big money shown. To bring in replacements, and strengthen generally, with less money and not much time, seems... A bit bonkers. I get money talks, and they might want the move, but it doesn't feel right.

The market this summer...
Wrathofthefarkely replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The market may be depressed for transfer fees, but if you're thinking a ten million bid for emi from a club like Liverpool with his wages doubled wouldn't be enough for him to demand the move then you're delusional. Ultimately this suits bigger clubs more, as they have the pulling power and wage structure to hoover up bargains, with the lower clubs needing to sell. -
Is the grass greener elsewhere?
Wrathofthefarkely replied to lake district canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Earn double the money in a consistent Premier league team and not be totally happy, or... Not. Your argument is ridiculous. -
The answer is some people are simply idiotic. Just take a look through yesterday's match thread. You would never believe we had just been promoted. Some already had us relegated! There are some fans who simply want to see the negatives. Look at McLean. A quality utility midfielder. Same as Rupp. Yet a core of fans just focus on any negative kick etc they see and go on the attack. City, like any team going up including Watford, need reinforcements who are better, and bigger. It's a simple fact and it's astonishing how many players were good enough for the prem three days ago, and now in their eyes they aren't.

Why aren't we Bournemouth?
-
Tbf we were missing two first choice defenders, had run for seventy minutes with ten men, and had a celebration. I'm pretty sure webber can work it out. Bigger. Stronger. Same for every promoted club, every single year. The panic over these losses is pathetic.

Pant wetter ...stupidly getting nervous
Wrathofthefarkely replied to rock bus's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
A game chasing for seventy minutes with ten men, then the promotion adrenaline rush, then up against probably the physically strongest and second best footballing team who needed a result. The people panicking need to take a look at themselves tbh. It's really sad.
