Parma’s State of the Nation
astro replied to Parma Ham's gone mouldy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
IMO this is exactly the reason for the current apathy of the crowd on match days - for a long while we’ve had what we want (a relatively successful football club) - but just for a while we had what we need ( a true sense of togetherness, a team of washed up heroes punching above their weight, people flocking to the banner, flags flying high and plenty of noise!). Sorry if I’ve derailed this most excellent thread. -

Chris Sutton and the white flag

If we’d have dug in we’d have been digging flood defences for the River - we were that far back. It was a terrible approach, made worse by Wagner’s admittance we’d only worked on it for a few days prior to trying it. That’s no way to approach playing a decent side. -
Sara, is his talent being wasted?

I think he’s been much better with Nunez beside him. He does make some very intelligent runs when further forward, but due to our negative passing mindset, his run is more than often wasted. -
Surely one of the top sort filters should be ‘pours generous sherry measures’?

Last of the winter bitter? -
I think there is a wonderful vibe gained from walking through the City and down to the ground with your fellow supporters - so would hate to see it moved. if it does have to move due to flooding, then it’s a shame it couldn’t have been incorporated into the Anglia Square development, although train links would have been a problem. I think the worst out of town stadium I’ve been to is Northampton’s - utterly soulless.

Something is going to have to happen fairly soon as the City stand is now in a very poor state of repair. I don’t think it’s seen much repair work for several years, and that can only go on so long before a major refurbishment has to take place. Sometimes refurb can cost nearly as much as rebuild.

…and then you resort to belittling. Lost the argument squared 👍

When you start to question a supporters level of support, because their viewpoint differs to yours, you’ve already lost the argument.

Yeah, I think most of the ground thought it was in. Really got a strong arm out there.

I thought it was shown to Pelach?

Forget your stats for a minute and look at what is happening on the pitch - Nunez looks far more comfortable on the ball than Kenny does in that deep midfield position. The team get on the front foot quicker with Nunez there, and his link up play with his fellow midfielders is much better.

Batth was having a good chinwag with some of the Wednesday coach staff after the last home game - wouldn’t be surprised to see him make a move in January which might dictate whether Gibson stays or goes. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see both of them move on.

All you had to do was back off, let things die down, and let us enjoy our forum - but you just love fanning the flames, don’t you. -
I’m very confused by this - don’t think I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.

Forsyth looks a tidy player.

Please, can we stop starting threads about Billy, that way the Scottish manure supporter might actually clear off and infest another board.
