  1. Playing the ball forwards is just so Dean Smith.
  2. I was at the game yesterday and heard the half arsed boos. I’ve read the many posts about how terrible are fans are for booing and how it’s detrimental. We need to get behind them etc. Don’t get me wrong. I completely agree with the sentiment of getting behind the team. Nor would I personally boo. Or feel comfortable doing it. My post is more to ask the question: Do people believe this sort of fan behaviour is exclusive to Norwich fans? Have any of you been to an away game? More to the point. Have any of you been to an away game where the home team was in bad form and the fans were getting disgruntled? I’ve been to several. I can think of a game at Anfield where we got a draw towards the end Brendan Rodger’s tenure off the top of my head. The stadium of light, Elland Road. Now those fans can turn of their team. My point being, I’ve been to dozens of away games, whether we were in league one, the champ or the prem. I’ve heard fans boo their managers and get on their players back. Nobody does it more timid than Norwich fans. Trust me. In comparison to the majority of fans in the top 3 leagues in this country. We barely boo properly, we never really get the players or managers back fully. It’s all half arsed and done with restraint. All of our players would have experienced far worse at their previous clubs.
  3. Your last paragraph is strange. I’m genuinely unable to comprehend that people think like you at look at it like that/think like that. To honestly think that criticism is bourne out of prejudice towards Smith/Wynn-Jones. Why is it you think that? Can you prove it? Do you believe this is the case at every club? That when fans criticise the decision making at their club it’s always and agenda against the owners? If not then why only Norwich fans? Also, what is it that makes you feel soo compelled to defend our currant custodians? Why does all criticism of them trigger you soo much? Do you feel you owe them something? Is it romantic? Do you believe that if Norwich was owned by anyone else it would automatically be a disaster?
  4. Maybe the fans ‘booing’ performance is representative of the player’s performance on the pitch. Half arsed.
  5. I love these sort of messages. You posters spend months calling people clueless for not seeing how the manager is going to turn it around. Then when it doesn’t happen it’s all the fans fault! 🤣 it’s like the thought of you being wrong is too much to take! You didn’t used to work for the Post Office did you?
  6. Hit a nerve? Maybe a bit to close to home? Nobody said my quotes exactly. As you know. Nor will I go back through this forum over the last two months to find you quotes. I don’t need to. Your capable yourself. We’ve been relegated from the Premier league more than twice chip. Perhaps some things pass you by.. The rest of your post seems confused and you appear to be arguing something I haven’t said “We’re still in the championship last time I checked” Who said we weren’t? If you want to pretend this forum isn’t full of people calling others bed wetters and calling people clueless for saying we’ll get relegated from the Premier League in seasons when we have been you do that. We both know you’re one of those.
  7. Oh yea I agree with everything your saying. I remember when he was appointed manager at Cardiff. Some people on here said that’s them fudged and they’d hoof their way into league one. At the end of the season they got promoted!! We always turn our nose up at certain managers. But I agree his time is done and not what we need.
  8. I’m sure you never complain if there’s to much positivity after a win..
  9. Not that I’d want him. He’s to passed it now and his time has gone. Still though it does make me laugh how people turn they’re nose up and ridicule him. He’s one of the most successful managers in the history of this league. Nearly every player he’s managed speaks very highly of him. Nearly all the fans of his past clubs hold him in high regard. I guess his accent isn’t sexy and due to the fact he’s British and over 50 everyone presumes it’s all 442 and hoof it forward even though his teams don’t play like that.
  10. That is true. Some turn negative very quickly. Others will say “xyz OUT!” 5 minutes into his managerial reign. I presume, so that if things do turn badly they can say I told you so etc. I just notice it’s the same people who were calling people clueless for thinking we would get relegated from prem in the Alex Neil, Daniel Farke seasons. Everyone was a bed wetter etc. As someone else pointed out they are usually those who double down and then say it’s all the fans fault that we got relegated or not promoted.
  11. Why is it always the same posters who try and justify these losses? “It’s all fine, anyone who doesn’t think we’ll get promoted is clueless” brigade. I take note of posters and it’s always the same people. Every year we’ve ever been relegated they’d spend all season calling people bed wetters and claiming people who think we’d go down are clueless etc. Every season they’re proved wrong yet there’s not even a seed of doubt in their minds that they know more about football and are superior to everyone else. They must just be hardcore double downers, never wrong types. Even when they are wrong. Just push it out they’re brains and move on.
  12. Yes any moaning is mass hysteria. We chucked away a 2-0 lead because they have a better squad than us. Is that why Plymouth thrashed us as well? Or does squad strength not matter when we get beat by teams our squad is supposedly superior than?
  13. I get the impression your white, middle class and an only child? The kind of bloke who used to throw stones at kids when he was at school and then go crying to the teacher when they threw them back. “My mummy says I’m more special than you”
  14. Reading the posts from people claiming losing 3-2 after being 2-0 up is fine and dandy because they have a better squad than us is really cringey! I wonder if they were saying the same when we got thrashed by Plymouth? If those posters also believe Plymouth have a far better squad than us then maybe Stuart Webber hasn’t been doing the amazing job they claim he has.
  15. Ironically, having read through 9 pages of this thread. The only person having a hissy fit is yourself. Will you have the intelligence or self awareness to realise that? God no.
  16. Obviously this is a little irrelevant now as he’s been appointed elsewhere. Nor was I someone who particularly wanted Scott Parker. The reaction when he was linked was strange all the same. There was a lot of vitriol towards him. Lots of people saying they hope it’s not him and Wagner is better etc. Did any of you watch his Bournemouth and Fulham teams? To my eye they always played good football. Kept it on the floor, played out from the back almost religiously. Attacked, scored goals. In their promotions, they played similarly to us and Huddersfield under Wagner. The issue the fans had with Parker Is that he would try and play out from the back in the prem. A bit like us under Farke. Yet I see many posts claiming his football is ****e and long ball. He’s a dinosaur, he’s Dean Smith 2.0. His teams don’t pass etc. Is it just the case that these people don’t watch his teams but believe in the lazy stereotype that all English managers are crap and play hoofball? I was a little underwhelmed with Parker and I’m a little underwhelmed with Wagner. To me they’re both at a similar level with a similar style. Except Parker has 2 promotions to Wagner’s 1. Yet everyone else thinks Wagner’s on a different level.
  17. Schumacher of Plymouth? Seems to have transformed them.
  18. He’s had no win in 7 and the Swansea fans want him out. Had a look on their forum and they’re hoping we get him to save them paying compo
  19. I had a look at the Swansea fans forum. There’s a thread on there about him being linked with us now DS has gone. The responses worry me. Apparently they haven’t won a game in 7 and the general consensus is they hope we take him off their hands and save them paying him compo. They’d drive him to Norwich themselves etc… One guy said our board should be applauded for listening to fans and sacking DS and wished theirs would do the same and sack Russ.
  20. But like-wise it’s the very fact that he is a ‘name’ that makes you and so many others against him
