Cardiff City suing Nantes
Top corner replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Cardiff's behaviour since the horrific plane crash has been disgusting & lacks any kind of class. The poor family of the striker are watching on as Cardiff try & make money out of a families tragedy, Cardiff should pay the originally agreed transfer fee & move on. They really should hang their heads in shame. -
"Ipswich fans made themselves heard.."

McKenna said in his post match interview that after 20 minutes the atmosphere was very quiet....He really needs to take something for that bitter taste in his mouth. -
I remember watching videos from a couple of years ago & I can remember there was Pete & another younger guy who looked after the kit, but I haven’t seen the younger guy in any recent club videos.

Kieron Dyer was on the local BBC lunchtime news today, he said he’s going to the game tomorrow & will be sitting in the away section.

Exactly

I haven't contradicted myself, I maybe haven't explained myself very well. I'll just finish with this, you must have heard former players mention that being fit to play, is different from being 100% match fit, you can't be instantly 100% match fit when you come back from injury, they need time to get up to speed. I hope you have a lovely evening. Take care.

When I mentioned "then when our fitness team at colney believes he's ready" what I was trying to say is, the fitness team at colney will tell Wagner that he's ready to step up to first team games, so he can gain more fitness after such a long time out. Players who return from a long term injury don't just immediately start first team games & expect to be fully match fit, it takes many games. Like I said in my earlier message, we will have to agree to disagree.

I think we will just have to agree to disagree.

No player recovering from a long-term injury is ever match fit until they've first played U21 football, they are then reintroduced back into first team football to gain more fitness. We are told that U21s football is a level below first team standards, hence why they are initially introduced to U21 football first, then when our fitness team at colney believes that Hanley is ready, he is then slowly reintroduced to first team football. Unfortunately we've had Duffy & Gibson out injured in recent weeks, so I would guess that Hanley had to start playing first team football before he was 100% ready because of having 1 or more central defender's out injured. But back to my original point, you describing Hanley as woeful is harsh, he certainly isn't 100% match fit he, but that will come from playing more first team games.
-
The only way to build up Hanley to being match fit is to give him minutes on the pitch. He's has played for the U21s & the fitness team & Wagner think he's now ready for minutes with the first team. I agree that he isn't yet match fit & back to his best, but woeful....I don't think so personally.
-
Describing Hanley as being woeful is extremely harsh, he's just coming back from a longterm injury & he didn't have a pre-season.

Hucks still has 3 or 4 season tickets in the South Stand, I don't see him much since he's been doing the hospitality on match days. -
McLean having a go at the fans
Top corner replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The fans who were booing McLean because he had the cheek to pass backwards so to keep possession & then sarcastically cheering when McLean passed the ball forward really don't help, this thing about having the right to boo because they pay the money is poor. If the team are struggling, what about cheering them on for a change, instead of getting on the players backs. If you feel the need to moan, then moan after the game, you just make the players make a pass which isn't there & then the opposition gets the ball back. I agree that it's frustrating at times, I'm sure the players feel the same at times. Please for these last few games, get behind the team from start to finish. -

What a goal, no goalkeeper would have stopped that shot. Johnson was on fire that season. -

Dean Ashton saga happening again
Top corner replied to Bradwell canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Although it was before the January transfer window existed, didn’t Ashley ward have a mysterious injury, which prevented him from playing a game for us & was then suddenly (but expected) sold to Derby for £1 million? -
Do you agree with this view?
Top corner replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I couldn't agree more. -
I must admit that I was expecting the scoreline to be bigger....The only thing I was disappointed with was our defending for their goals, really really poor.
