1. Thanks Gunny, you were and will always be an NCFC legend in my eyes.  I was desperate for you to succeed as manager, just a shame the shambolic players against Colchester couldn''t do your name some justice.
 2.
Aquascutum shirt, Stone Island Jacket, Diesel jeans and either Timberland boots or Ted Baker trainers. I used to wear a Burberry cap but they are a smidge chavvy now.
Unlike Stone Island jackets, Diesel jeans and Ted Baker trainers.........[:P]  Pwopa nowty.....
 3.

It''s a very bad day for democracy and justice when you can''t reply to a raging mob with something as harmless as a one finger or two finger salute, or even a tosser sign. Wes was quite justified in what he did; why not just forget the whole trivial incident and move on now? Talk about a storm in an effing teacup!
Well if I was there and he had of flicked his V''s to me then I would of lamped the little Irish tosser one and told him that he was one of the worst City wingers I have see pull on a yellow & green shirt! I suggest he stays away in his little VIP rooms with his Orange girls when he goes out if this is true.
And he would say back to you "I am a pro footballer, earning a fortune, playing for NCFC and my country.  You on the other hand are a bald bloke, with an obsessional hatred of Delia Smith, who sits on his computer all night attempting to be controversial in the vague hope of getting some attention.  Oh, and you organise rubbish protests on open days".  Don''t think he''d have to "lamp" you, the hidden self loathing you have would boil to the surface and you''d self combust.......

 6. "Question : Will the alleged incident after the match involving Wes Hoolahan be investigated ?"   What was this all about??
 7. How about...ahem...   "DODGY KEEPER, DODGY KEEPER, ......etc"

 9.
After watching them all several times, the entire back four are a disgrace. A lot of blame on here for the keeper but Nelson was the worst offender, goal 5 is so outrageous for a CB you would have thought he was a winger filling in. 1: What was Otsemobor thinking? Amateur hour. Keeper should have dealt with it. 2: Doherty turned inside out but any decent forward can turn a CB on the back foot and get a shot off. Can''t blame him there, the keeper should have held onto the shot. 3: Nelson chases his man across the box, ignoring the cross completley. Drury stands and watches, motionless, 25 ft from where he should have been. 4: Freekick was unstoppable. 5: This one is an absolute shocker. At least Doherty jumps with his man, beaten by the larger Platt (allowed him in front though) but Nelson here is completly at fault. He allows Lisbie in front of him and he doesn''t even jump to challenge. He ducks! A CB''s bread and butter, jump and challenge for the ball, he looked scared to do so. Disgusting. 6: No CB''s in site. 7: Tudur-Jones and Drury casually waslking back twards edge of box, reminded me of Fotheringham v Coventry last season. Still at 6-1 all was lost and who could blame them. Nelson for me failed at the one simple thing he is suppossed to be able to do, attack the ball in the air. He has to be replaced. Askou in immediatlety. Otsemobor has to go as that pass showed he is an absolute liability, no thought to what he was doing. Spillane in!  I can''t really comment on Drury, he looked out of position for 3 but I had to listen to the game and didn''t see his contribution. But surely Stefanovic could and should play there? Keep him! Big factors appear to be Nelson out, Otsemobor out, Askou and Spillane in. Keeper looked poor and out of position but the stick he is getting on here is a little harsh given the disgraceful showing by a 6 ft 3 CB who neither attacked the ball or looked like he knew where he should be. Lets hope these three changes take place and we put this abortion of a defensive performance behind us. -Bigus
A good constructive post.  Agree with everything you''ve put!
 10.
I agree it was out of order and I am sorry for that post, if there was a delete button I would delete it. I was a very angry and hurt last night, as I am sure many others on here were (and a little worse for where). Note to self - do not come on the pink un when team has lost by 6 goals and played so badly, when had a few beers. Hopefully this can be forgotten now.
No worries, although I do wish people would generally stop referring to other posters as "c**t''s". Way too extreme.
 11. Oh yeah, you''re amazing with your ability to see into the future.  And you''re always correct.  You''re brilliant really.  I wish I was more like you.  Now, what are Wednesday nights lottery numbers going to be?
 12. Last night I was angry, but was still trying to remain optimistic.  This morning I just feel sad.  What the hell is going to happen to my club this season?  I thought getting relegated would be the lowest point, but no, the thought of getting battered in this league is now occupying my mind.  I can''t remember feeling so depressed about NCFC as I do at the moment.  A win Tuesday night is the only result we can hope for, and the only thing that MAY help restore some confidence.  A defeat however, jesus.......
 13.

Thats what I think.  Playing in front of 8-9,000 must be hugely different from playing in front of nearly 26,000.  I know I''m probably cluthching at straws, but what other option is there??
How about just accepting we''re crap? Its not hard when its true. Trying to convince yourself we''re any good and we''ll get better will do you no favours. You''ll just be left disappointed.
Can''t help it, it''s my nature.  If I was to accept that we''re shite, I would have to write off NCFC as a lost cause and give up my season ticket, and I can''t do that.  It would be like admitting you married the wrong person, or you have the wrong friends.  The second you admit it to yourself, you have to do something about it.  So, I shall continue along in my little bubble of optimism.  That''s all I have, and it''s served me ok for 30 years.....

 15. I know I''ll get flamed for this (as per), but in a funny kind of way, I think what happened today MAY do us a favour.  Surely the humungous cock up''s of today will be addressed, and changes will be made if required.  It could also act as a gigantic wake up call for the players who seemed a bit half arsed in their performance (Doherty anyone), who may have thought this division would be a walk in the park.  Best get that sorted in the first game of the season I say.  Also, what struck me about our players today is that they seemed overcome and a tad frightened of playing in front of that many passionate supporters.   I can''t believe it was the same players who played some good stuff against Wigan the previous week (in front of 9,000).  They couldn''t string two passes together for gods sake, it was almost like the big occasion made them freeze.    I think it''ll take a few games for these new players to get used to playing in front of a premiership sized crowd, as well as getting to know each other on the pitch.  I guess what I''m trying to say is that I think today was a freak, and one that will hopefully do some good regarding the forthcoming fixtures.
 16.
Ren was there any need to be so childishly offensive to the man for having an opinion?
Cheers mate, but thats how things roll on this board I''m afraid.........
 17.

Following a good unbeaten pre season, I have a feeling that a few of the vociferous Gunn out brigade from last season may well be choking on their ridiculous, hate filled words come the new season. Sure, we haven''t played a "competetive" match yet, but the early signs are extremely encouraging. Gunn and his team have abviously targeted the areas of the squad that need improving (i.e all of it) and have not just made the numbers of the squad up, but have actually put a lot of thought into the blending of the players as a team.  We can already see several decent partnerships in the side, and these will only improve as the season progresses.  I was always very pro Gunn from the outset, which led to me being on the receiving end of some ridiculous abuse on this message board.  I hope and pray that Gunny and team carry on the brilliant work thus far into the new season, and make some of these people (Row, Loan City FC, that wrestler bloke, First Wizard plus a ton of others) have their offensive little statements toward Gunny and myself stuck back down their throats.
Humble pie, ROFL you c**t! What a shower of s***! We are going nowhere under Gunn and Delia and until people like you wake up to that fact we are f***ed! F*** off Delia that was appaling!
fact!
Why can I not help but think you ook like your avatar in real life??

 19. Yep, agree 100%.  He was bloody awful.  In a funny way, he reminded me a lot of Gunny in his first few appearances for City.  All erratic and headless chicken-esque.  Hopefully he''ll go on to achieve success with City, as Gunny did.  Can''t see it though........
 20.

No. He was silly for doing it and should grow up.
normally I would agree BUT after the complete demise of this club in the last few years and the built up emotion following this shower of crap today...I don''t blame them......pity Gunn didn''t get one on the snout!
Agree with the first part, but the bit about attacking Gunn????  Come on, thats pathetic...
 21. Joshing aside, today was THE worst NCFC performance I have ever witnessed.  Not one player did anything remotely positive.  The passing was shambolic, we were second to every ball and any ball we did keep hold of, we soon lost. As for the back 5, the less said about them the better.  I am just DESPERATE for Gunny to succeed, and pray that this was just a huge blip.  Gunny was goalkeeper during the most successful period I have ever enjoyed, along with Crooky and Butters, and I believe their motives are 100% in the interests of this club, and I cannot turn on them.  It''s so damn heart wrenching.
 22. Just putting some cream on my pie........Come on though, who honestly thought THAT would have happened.........bloody hell, I''m stuffed........
 23.
You might have been better to post this in march rather than before the season starts, because if this year turns to rat $h!t you''re going to look sillier than those you claim should be eating humble pie. I hope this winning streak continues and Gunn proves me wrong but we''ve been here before. A "great" team was assembled, we won most of our friendlies, but the pre-season over confidence soon turned to xmas time disappointment. Reality sunk in as it dawned on the fans that the team was gash and we we''re once again caught up in a relegation battle with little hope of improving the squad. (I notice how pre season friendlies mean something when we win, but don''t when we lose)
Again, all I''ve said is that we''ve has a good pre season, have assembled a good team, and hope this good start can continue throughout the season.  The people I believe should be eating humble pie are the one''s who slagged Gunn to the ground, but have remarkably started changing their opinions as the results have been coming in, and the team strengthened correctly.
