  1. Why all the fuss about Earnshaw leaving?  I know he had a big hand in keeping us up last season, but last season was a season of transition. Lets be honest, when he signed people were not overjoyed, but now, apparently, he''s the greatest thing since....Dean CASHton.  I personally never really took to the little goal hanger.  Yes he scored goals blah, blah, blah, but he never felt like a Norwich player, and his insistence on a £3.5million sell on fee justifies my doubts about him. If anyone honestly thought he would be here next season then they need their heads looking at.  What we have now is the return of the prodigal son.  The Artful Dodger.  The player responsible for one of my greatest ever NCFC moments (green hair and all) - super Jamie Cureton.  This lad will bring team spirit back into the side.  A sense of pride.  He really does care about the club.  Why the fuss about him being 31/32.  Ryan Giggs is 33 - you wouldnt turn him down based on his age.  And lets not forget - HE WAS THE TOP PIGGIN GOALSCORER IN OUR DIVISION LAST YEAR. So lets all just settle down, and actually wait to see what happens next season, instead of writing it off already.  Come on Jamie - you''re a F***ING LEGEND!!!
  2. Lets not let the chance of Jamie coming back slip away.  Aside from the fact that he is a 24 carat gold legend, he was also the Championship''s top scorer last season.  He desperately wants to play for us and last but not least, playing for Norwich ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING TO HIM!!! He didnt have to mute his celebrations when he scored against us last season, he did it out of respect to the fans.  I would rather have him up front than "want away" Earnshaw.  He''s a canary!!!
  3. I reckon play Eagle in CM, in a Chippy Crook playmaker role.
  4. Right.  We''ve just won arguably the most important game of the season.  Thats one step towards survival.  Lets say bo***cks to pre-match demonstrations, Grant out, Grant in, Delia out, Delia in, Doncaster out, Hughes, Etuhu, blah, blah blah....... The most important thing that we as City fans can concentrate on is staying in this god forsaken division. Players come, players go, directors, managers and major shareholders come and go.  What stays constant is us fans.  When the dust settles on this season, that will be the time to ask questions and point fingers.  Until that point lets give that green and yellow 100% backing, regardless of your point of view.  Remember, this is OUR CLUB, we have all had incredible times following our club, as have our families going back generations.  We are not Chelsea, Arsenal, or Man U "fans", and this is why we love our club even more, and I don''t want to see it dragged through League 1 and then obscurity.   Come on, lets be having you!!!!!!   KICK IT OFF THROW IT IN  !!
  5. So good old Nigel was on £600,000 per year.  That must mean Peter Grant is on the same money or similar.  That also means that the players in the team are on the same money but probably more.  They are very, very highly paid “entertainers”, however, apparently they can’t do their jobs properly unless the crowd give them vocal support for 90 minutes.  And if the crowd, who pay these peoples wages by the way, and who travel up and down the country for ridiculous amounts of money, and who mostly earn probably 25-30 times less per year than this, aren’t going crazy at the sight of Paul McVeigh not chasing balls because he can’t be bothered etc, they are branded a “disgrace” by the manager.  The maths just don’t add up.  The players must generate enthusiasm from the supporters, not the other way round.  That is their job.  Norwich City supporters have seen players such as Gunny, Crooky, Flecky, Jamie Cureton, Darren Eadie, Super Chris, Ruel etc.  Genuine entertainers who cared for the club, and had an affinity with the fans.  They didn’t need motivating from the crowd, they wore the shirt with pride and passion, and in return, this commitment and passion spread to the supportes watching them.  That is what creates singing and atmosphere.  My faith is now being sorely tested.
  6. Absolutely spot on.  Put it in a letter and address it to Doomcaster!
  7. Instead of going to match Sunday, why doesn''t everyone boycott the game and watch it in the pub.  The before and after protests could still be done, but watch the game in one of the riverside pubs, or at any other pub near the ground.  Just a thought!
  8. Just drove in to work listening to the musing''s of Barry Skipper on Radio Norfolk.  I can''t remember word for word what he said, but when asked about the frustration of supporters at the moment, he replied with something like "I wish the fans would get behind the team.  I cannot understand what the placard waving people who stand outside the ground are trying to achieve.  Their views are very much in the minority amongst supporters.  All they are achieving is making Carrow Road an unsafe place to go for family''s."  He then went on to say that he could not see changes being made to the management team between now and next season.  I still think our illustrious board of businessmen and women see no wrong in the current situation at Carrow Road.  All fans must make there feelings known Saturday, to hammer the point home.
  9. Woody is definately living large.  Look at his red coat, definately Prada.
  10. I''m really starting to see what a waste of money football is at the moment.  Although I have been a season ticket holder for 23 years (from the age of 7), this current season has been one big bore.  were I a casual ticket purchaser I just wouldn''t bother.  I compare this to live music gigs.  For £14, I went to see metal band Soulfly at the UEA last week, and was blown away.  I also saw the Darkness there with similar results, not to mention the numerous other gigs I have attended for a lot less money than a casual football ticket prices.  Although we all do it, dont you find it kind of strange to pay hard earned money on something that most of the time dissapoints (especially this season).  Imagine coming out of the Theatre Royal and forming a posse by the back door chanting "Cinderella Out" because of the terrible performance she had just turned in. All that we are paying for with increased ticket prices is increased footballers earnings.  Anyway, just a thought.

  12. David Williams and Ian Crook for manager and coach IMO.  Williams has always done brilliantly coaching, and it''s about time someone gave him the chance at the top.  Saturday was a joke and I''m sick of this idiot turning MY club into a laughing stock and dragging it''s name through the mud. Where was McVeigh? Why was Fleming at right back? Why did Hendo not start with Huckerby on the left? Why did Thorne come on wide right? Why o why o why!!!!
