Paul Lambert knows that he has done a tremendous job in getting us this far, and he is focussed on keeping us in the Premiership.  He is putting together a squad which is capable of keeping us in the Premiership for a long time hopefully.  Speaking for myself he is one of the best managers I have seen here since I first supported Norwich back in the late 50''s.  He is respected by the players, the board, all NCFC staff and more importantly the majority of supporters.  He is still young as a manager and has years ahead of him, so why wouldn''t he want to stay here for a few years to build on his success, and enhance his reputation at the same time.  

Crawley or Stevenage at home would be a good draw.  Lambert would give the same respect to those teams as he has done to all the Premier teams we have played this season.

I prefer to watch the football game myself and not listen to any of these so called experts. I think Merson is better qualified to talk about drinking rather than football.

I think we have to accept that a large majority of current footballers would not be out of place on a stage. The high stakes involved nowadays in staying up or getting relegated, has led to players exagerating any slight contact, either to disrupt the flow of play, or get an opponent booked. Sad that it is, this is the modern game, and we have Norwich players who are equally guilty.

They are off the bottom and playing good football, it would be foolish to sack the manager after a performance like yesterday.

Good captains are those that lead by example and Wes has certainly fitted that bill in the last two games. His energy levels are unbelievable and he certainly does his fair share of defending as well as attacking. PL very rarely gets it wrong, and funny old thing he seems to have got it right again.

It has to be johnson for me because of his efforts at bossing the midfield.

You need to understand that when Croft tackled Drogba from behind that was a yellow, however, when Torres tackled Johnson from behind that was just a free kick. These referees are afraid to send off a so called big star on his own ground. If they want to earn respect how about a bit of consistency. These referees and assistants are supposed to be professional - what a joke!!

I do not think PL will change it too much although I do expect to see Bennett or Pilkington to start in place of Croft or Surman. In defence it will be a case if Whitbread is still injured of either Barnett or Ayala in the centre alongside De Laet.

Now is the time to get money on them to finish in the top six.

You cannot be serious. Pacheco will probably get into the Spanish side within the next two years. The player oozes class and would definitely add to our squad.

Reading for me, although Swansea may make it if they can contain Long. The most pleasing thing for me is that we will not have the whinging pair of Jones and Davies in the Premiership.

He is bound to come up with the old chestnut about us having extra time to prepare.  When the pressure was on them they bottled it.  Will Man City pay Bellamy''s wages for another season in the Championship.  I guess they must have lost money on showing the Norwich game after theirs, as most of the supporters could not wait to get out of the ground.  There is still time for them to drop out of the Championship and join the League of Wales.

Now I hope either Reading or Swansea go up and leave Jones and Davies to comeout with the excuses as to why their clubs were not promoted.

I am only surprised that he did not mention the extra two hours rest we will have before our kick off.  Whilst we often refer to footballers not being the brightest, it also applies to some managers.

Have faith in Paul Lambert and the boys.  They will still be on a high after Thu; and Derby had a bit of a disaster today.  For once all the results went our way and now we need to capitalise on that against Derby.

Never liked him since he brought his Derby team to Norwich and spent most of the time telling his players to stay on the ground or feign injury, just to break our play up. On that day his players would not have been out of place at the Theatre Royal.  I know time wasting is part of the game nowadays, but to see players collapse at the other end of the pitch miles from play was ridiculous. I have listened to some of the interviews he gives Radio Nottingham and he continually repeats himself, and says people don''t understand who he is and what he is about.  I believe he has had quite a bit of money to spend, despite his complaining to the contrary.  He isn''t the only manager who has had problems with injuries to key players, but that is part of the game.  He also mentioned a bit of luck now and again, perhaps he didn''t see their goal on Friday.  He is one of those managers who is never happy unless he is complaining about something.  He has a good squad at Forest and to their credit they played well on Friday, but I do feel that there may be some in their squad who are not big Billy Davies fans.

If Leeds do slip up they can keep Forest company next season.

The difference this time is we have a manager who knows the type of loanee he needs that will add to the squad, coupled with a chief executive who isn''t going to pay over the odds to bring in the likes of Sibierski etc.  Yes it will benefit Liverpool that Pacheco is going to get games, but judging from his first appearance he could well feature in their first team next year or the year after.  Vokes has not had many opportunities at Wolves and is down the pecking order, so they are probably happy to put him in the shop window, but who knows Lambert might decide he fits into our squad and is prepared to buy him in the summer.

I hear Ipswich are looking to sign him next season.

Assuming we get the clearances then this is great news.  If we get promoted this season then we may decide to sign Vokes if it works out well for both parties. It is also possible that Kenny Dalgleish might let Pacheco come on a season long loan at Norwich next year. I don''t know how other supporters feel but McNally and Lambert are a perfect pairing and seem to come up with the goods every time.  I have taken some stick about being a Norwich supporter over the last 50 years, but people are beginning to sit up and take notice now.  The board, McNally, Lambert and his team have all given Norwich fans the belief that we do at long last have a chance of getting to the Premiership and possibly staying there.

I hope the players relax and play with confidence knowing we can go 2nd, especially after the weekend results.  I am sure Lambert will be telling the players to go out and play like they did against Leicester, and that it is in our hands now, and that the results which went for us at the weekend will mean nothing if we don''t capitalise on it.  Bristol City are safe in mid table but we have to win those 50-50 challenges and get the crowd behind them from the start.
