1. To be perfectly honest, if we were to get 7 figures for Etuhu, I''d happily see him go.  Far far to inconsistant for me
2.
"Norwich City - The Tim Henman of Football"
Bloody hell, we''re not that bad!  We do win every so often!
3. Considering our pretty diabolical right back situ, it can''t be a bad thing for him to have another year
4. No need to worry ladies and gentleman.  It''s just a pretty p*** poor PR exercise with huge season ticket discounts in the coming seasons if they win promotion.  I wonder why we haven''t done something like this?  Oh, what a minute... Could it be that we''ve already sold 16,000 and don''t need too!? **Sniggers**
5.
if he''s good enough for the bench, he should be signed up on pro-terms - but is he??  we can''t afford another martin calamity.
I think calamity is a pretty strong word!  We offered him a contract a couple of days ago and he hasn''t signed yet!
6. Does anyone here watch the kids on a regular basis and know anything about this lad?  I have to admit, until I read his name today I had never heard of him!
7. Can that town not run anything without getting it in debt!? http://www.eveningstar.co.uk/content/eveningstar/news/story.aspx?brand=ESTOnline&category=News&tBrand=ESTOnline&tCategory=News&itemid=IPED30%20Mar%202007%2009%3A46%3A13%3A313
8.
Richard does indeed leave Archant today, but his weekly column in the Evening News will continue.
Aah I didn''t realise he was keeping his column.  Thanks for that Pete.  Good to hear; Richard talks a lot sense
9. You won''t have to worry about it for much longer.  Apparently Richard is leaving Archant
10. I fail to see nutty Nigel how could not concur that our youth system ground to a halt under Worthington!  One player came through the youth system and into an established first team place in the form of Jason Shackell.  One.  In five and a half years.  That is absolutely pathetic.  I''d be willing to bet that if you compared our divisonal rivals over the same period they would have had significantly more young talent come through the ranks. We have seen a huge decline in the past couple of years of Reserve team football.  That used to be an excellent way of playing fringe squad players and bringing youth through to see what they could do.  With this massive decline, why did Worthington not send kids out?  One game every few weeks or sent out to a lower league club and playing week in week out.  It is an absolute no brainer.
11. Absolutely not.  Our youth policy ground to a halt under Worthington.  I have massive respect for Grant for playing youth but also sending them out on loan.  Its obviously been a very deliberate policy of his to see what some of the kids are made of in the lower leagues.  When they come back we have two options; stick them in the first team or say thanks and goodbye.  Personally I''d be suprised if any of the youth out on loan were to make it big time but at least we have had the option of seeing what they are made of
12. Indeed he can do a job for Norwich; he can be the first of the under performing waste if space out the door in the summer.  Closely followed by Thorne, Henderson and Louis-Jean of course
13. The voice of the Thorpe Area; I could not have put it better myself.  The guy is lazy.  He has done absolutely nothing in the last few years.  I''d rather have 11 Andy Hughes'' in my team than 11 Paul McVeigh''s.  The quality might not be there but the passion, commitment and work rate certainly are. We won''t miss you Paul McVeigh
14. I think in the last 4 or 5 years the campaign to reinstate tarracing in some areas of football grounds has gathered momentum and more people in the political world are listening.  In previous years if you mention "standing" in relation to a football match to a politician, you can gaurantee one of the first words out of their mouth will be "Hillsborough".  Fair enough, it was a dreadful afternoon. However, there is absolutely no debate that terracing could be done safely.  Many countries on the continent have proved it.  One standing place per person.  Fact.  We wouldn''t see another Hillsborough again. I personally would abolsutely love to see a return to terracing for a percentage of a ground.  There is no doubt in my opinion that standing increases atmosphere at a ground, it increases solidarity and unity between supporters.  Also, as the Stand Up Sit Down campaign point out on a regular basis, it would actually be safer than what we have at the moment.  Terracing would be safer than fans standing in a seating area.  I''d love to see football clubs being given the oppertunity to make part of their ground terracing and then liasing with fans over where and how much they want.  Obviously the lower barclay would be the sensible choice and (with all due respect the those in the River End and City stand) probably a higher percentage of fans in the barclay would take up the option of a standing place. Lets hope politicians look at the sensible statistics and overwhelming views of hundreds or thousands of fans across the county, rather than one tragic isolated incident in the 80s.
15.
Presumeably some of the posters on here who have lost all patience with our board, will be at the AGM to express their views??
Absolutely angel.  I will be there.  It will be extremely interesting to hear what the board have to say for themselves.  In November 2005 I had a rather heated conversation with Neil Doomcaster.  I knew, as many thousands of other Norwich fans did, that Worthington had had his day.  Unfortunately it took the board a whole year longer to take the blinkers off realise that we were right.  Although Worthington left us with an inadequate squad, I level a huge amount of blame at the board.  They took action against Worthington far far too late and condemed us to another season of mid table obscurity (if we''re lucky). Unfortantely however, the board know how to play the media and the fans.  Munby in particular, whenever I have heard him in the past, is an extremely smooth talker and could spin his way out of any situation.  The board will have thought for an acceptable answer to every question a fan will level at the them.  They will also have every justification for sacking Worthington when they did you could ever think of. I''m sure it will be an interesting meeting
16.
Ah! How nice to see your name again DD. Now do you see what a single-minded, lazy student you were ( as per my past ramblings ).....you have been absent for a significant period time but are still the #2 ranked poster in volume on this forum.
Looking back YC, you are exactly right!  I discovered this forum not long into my first year at Uni and it was my gateway back to Norwich and in particular NCFC.  I did post far too much!  C''est la vie.  I met some good people and had great banter with many regarding our great club. Thanks for the kind words ZLF and and Angel.  I will try to be more active in the future!
17.
He only posted when he was a lazy student. Saw him a few months ago and he now has a proper job so can no longer while away the hours on here.
Quite right Pete!  I am still about but as Pete says I have a proper job now so not about during the day.  I am still very much a lurker though and on here every few days.  Keep up the good work Pink''Un users
18.
Royle without a doubt , give him the millions Worthless has had and he would build a decent side that plays football.
Can''t add anything to that.  Sums it up perfectly
19.
Good luck to Rick in whatever he does eventually choose to do; I always found his journalistic style easy to read and commendably lacking in histrionics. He also deserves great credit for having the courage to go to print with his ''citizen journalist'' piece, which I''m sure he knew would cause an almighty stink, even though he was of course absolutely spot - on in his observations and conclusions about the damaging effect of too many uninformed, over -opinionated keyboard warriors spouting off in cyberspace.  That it incited so many little outraged hissy - fits all across the City message boards was a much needed source of amusement in an otherwise grim, humourless season !   Nice  one, Rick, and thanks.
Even though he''s becoming a citizen journalist himself?  Yeah what a big man
20. My understanding of the situation is this: Basically there was a big enquiry and a load of people (including Waghorn) had to re-apply for their own jobs. He did get it again but was so p***ed off with the situation that he''s leaving. What he''s leaving to do though, amazes me. He is setting up this website where he will charge Norwich fans £2/3 a month for "exclusive" Norwich City news. He''s talked to Delia and Worthington about this and feels that because there is tension between Archant and NCFC, he can get exclusives from them (news stories, signings etc I suppose) and put them on his website before the EDP/EEN get them. He thinks he''s going to make enough money out of this web site to live on which in my opinion is ludicrous. It''ll only take one person to put the info on here or on the Wrath and a thousand people will know. Oh well, his lookout. Th guy who wrote for EEN before Waghorn (Cuffley I think) will be taking his job and apparently will be a lot less affiliated with the club, not afraid to piss a few people at the club off and tell the truth etc. I found this out about a month ago but wasn''t sure if I''d be allowed to put in on an Archant message board!
21.

I''ve always fancied a black away kit myself.  Could you knock one up so I could see how it looked
Firstly full credit to Beds for making the shirt I simply changed the colour to black. I quite like it but not sure
Thank you to Beds and UEA.  I think that black kit is lush!  I''d definitely buy that
22. Those kits are lush Beds.  You just know that Oldfield will have been paid thousands to produce some abomination!  I''ve always fancied a black away kit myself.  Could you knock one up so I could see how it looked?  Don''t worry if that is major hassle
23. What a load of rubbish.  My sisters both went to school with Greeno and know him well.  This story is complete rubbish
