It''s an approach used by many clubs, guessing it''s to signal the location of where the ball is going to be played.

For the frog I think it''s 8 jumps... he takes a jump at 2 and a half foot, but as he slides back a foot he ends up at half a foot from the top, so requires an 8th jump to get out.
incorrect
The answer must be 7 then, but it''s badly worded. If you slide back a foot as you jump, you actually only jump to a maximum of two extra feet. If it said on landing, then it''s clearly 7, but it doesn''t. Bad question!

The answer to 2 is silence... shhh

A sensible price is one that is close to what something is worth. A Mr Cullum offered £0 (via the media) for full control of the club, I don''t call that sensible at all.

A new director by the name of Brendan Flood joined the Burnley board in 2006. He''s a successful businessman and Burnley fan operating out of the Manchester area. As far as I''m aware, he joined their board (as one of ten directors) without demanding full control of the club (unlike a certain Mr Cullum) and has since bankrolled all of Burnley acquisitions. He''s also helped to fill the £4M+ operating deficit that Burnley reported in their latest accounts. Once again this is a case that illustrates that your gates/restaurants/merchandises etc. mean absolutely nothing compared to when you''ve got true money men involved who can support the finances of the club. Burnley could have gates of 2,000, but they’d still be successful with Flood’s money. In Delia and MWJ we''ve got two "poor" millionaires who do all they can for our club. Until someone wishes to join our board with the promise of cash, or offers a sensible price for total control, we need to back the current setup and support the team.

What makes us a Premiership club
you have good fan base but you dont take to many away do you?
Why are you asking the question? I thought you knew everything about NCFC? -
Just bugger off, I like to pop on here now and again to read about Norwich, I don''t want to see the big headed views of a Wolves fan.

... and their second

The Offside Sports Bar in Islington is definitely showing the Forest v City match on the 22nd November, I''ve just emailed the owner to see whether or not he plans to show the derby match too. He''s a City fan, and member of the Capital Canaries, so I''m guessing there''s a good chance that he''ll have the game on, and not some second rate Premiership match instead!

tickets for tonight FYI
Matt Juler replied to golden coppel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Still £25 quid for a ticket a bit much don''t you think - full credit to the clubs that offer student discount to away fans.
I think we charged Derby £27, so we can''t complain! -
what coaches go to away games....ASAP
Matt Juler replied to Arturo Lupoli's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
My assumption was A11-A14-M1-A50, so that would go via Barton Mills. -
The Brunswick is the pub we always use, not too far from the ground and lots of good ale/beer on offer.

I know that in the past, the official club cabbage picks up at Barton Mills if they''re going the A11 route, and I''m guessing that for Derby they''ll be going that way. -
Agree with you GJP, I was expecting Bell to replace Wes "I can''t stay on the left wing" Hoolahan, and whilst I didn''t boo, I can understand the frustration.

lita's keen to extend loan...
Matt Juler replied to lucky green trainers's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
On a good run you can easily do Norwich to the bottom of the M11 way under 2 hours. -
My alarm clock doesn''t show the date, so it wouldn''t be til I got in the car that I''d realise that time had gone backwards. I''d then go the the bookmakers and put all my money on a 5-2 Norwich win.

Matt Juler replied to lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel)'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I sit three rows from the back in block CU. It''s a good view, and the atmosphere is okay. Compared to the Lower Barclay, or the Snakepit corner, I wont try to fool you the atmosphere is anywhere near as intense, but there is certainly a large number of people who get involved. By choice I''d probably move ''downstairs'', but I''ve been going with my grandad for so many years, and he likes to sit down! -
I don''t think you''ve read the original article clearly Matt. Let me quote you from the original Sunday Telegraph article: "...the document highlighted extraordinary betting patterns in the Asian market during the match in which traders for British firm Spreadex noticed "a massive movement at around half-time". Caroll was sent off on 50. I think that qualifies as ''around half time'' don''t you?
No, because the sending off would be a logical reason for money to be laid on a Norwich win, so there would be nothing "extraordinary" about it. The same article goes on to say "In the Asian gambling market it is common to place a handicap on one of the teams. In this case the handicap made an enormous, unexplained swing that would indicate a major on-field event when nothing of that nature had occurred. However, later in the match a major on-field event did occur.", this can only relate to one incident, and that doesn''t involve our keeper going walkies at the end of the match.
