1. Interesting reading about tonight''s meeting but it still makes me laugh that people are so adamant that this board and the meeting tonight is representative of the the entire supportGoing on another threads figures roughly 500 voted, 6 in favour of Gunn, 494 against, meaning only 2.47% of our 20,000 support are against Gunn or to put another way 97.53% of city supporters in favour of Gunnysee its amazing what figures can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 2. the responses on this thread are some of the best i have heard for a long while and long may it continue. its about time us ''real'' supporters stopped taking all the crap that people like Wiz gives us and it has given me some reason to keep on herethanks guys
 3. I''m expecting to get shot down for this and accused of all sorts which it seems is what happens when people disagree with others on this board but......................After spending the last hour or so reading the posts on here i cant believe that so many people on here are being so defeatist. Ok Gunn and crew may not have been your first choice, and for some probably not even in your top 5, but he IS the manager now and he deserves, and needs, all of our support. There is nothing we can do it about it, and by all means attack Delia or whoever but Gunny is the man put in charge of our team and now we should all give him our full backing as that is the only way he will succeed, which I''m guessing is what the majority of people on here want, a successful club again. As i have posted an a couple of other threads tonight Gunny never stood a chance last season, you just need to look at what Roeder left him with, and i know some will say he was head of player recruitment but Roeder had the final say dont forget and then look at who gunny brought in which i think has impressed most people: Lee, Cody, Gow, Mooney, Shacks, and who he has got rid off or left out all together: Fozzy, Cureton, Eagle, Marshall, Pattisson (who after watching him in the reserves after Roeder left never deserves to get near the first team again), which the majority of people on here praised him for at the time. If he can carry on like this then we might not have a bad team next season. The other plus with Gunny and crew is that they know the youth team, who we are going to have to rely on for at least half the team i would have thought, and who out of them can cut it and who cant, which a new manager would have no idea about, so i for one am extremely happy with todays news and look forward to next season with more optimism than i would if someone like Ince is in chargeOTBC
 4. as i have posted on another thread:this is one of the first posts that i have read today that i actually agree with!!!!!!!!! 6.
Goreham tells him that in polls 70% of fans don''t want him as manager, Gunn says he feels he has a lot of support, polls aren''t always accurate and he wants the job.He says no-one has told him face to face that they don''t want him.
think he has talked a lot of sense so far. as i said before on a different post that most people i have spoken too think the management team as it is deserve at least another year and that this board IS NOT representative of the supporters of our club
 7.
Hooray!!!  Somone saying what I''ve been saying, but saying it better!!!  Good post OP!!
hear hear, about time someone on here talked some sense as No Quarter said exactly what i have been saying but in a much more coherent way
 8.

cityangel is one of the nicest people on here that i have dealt with so lay off her. havent we got enough stuff going on at our club to use our energy up on, and other people to abuse, rather than attacking fellow fans. thought people would be happy with todays news and be concentrating on more important matters[:@]
I take it you don''t read this board much then mate? [:D]
read it every day mate and all CA does is question peoples ''inside info'', which any true supporter would do given the amount of crap that appears on here every day and if she is wrong she has the decency to apologise to that person and she gets accused of abusing people. if you want to see abuse read smudgers or first wiz posts or some others, now thats what i call abuse
 9.
I didn''t want to say it but it seems that there are others like me out there. I too, have been a victim of Cityangel''s abuse.
cityangel is one of the nicest people on here that i have dealt with so lay off her. havent we got enough stuff going on at our club to use our energy up on, and other people to abuse, rather than attacking fellow fans. thought people would be happy with todays news and be concentrating on more important matters[:@]
 10.
He left for MK Dons. Though Peter Cullum and Andrew turner would be good.
i know he did but no reason why he couldnt come back and i heard his leaving was to do with doncaster and a disagreement they had
 11.
I assume your being sarcastic felix fan. Id like someone with football experience and business experience. A cross between Andy Gray and Steve Jobs
Andy Cullen perhaps?
 12.
The biggest sadness is that we are now humiliated into considering the youthful cast offs from other clubs...
Reserve striker Billy Clarke, who has scored loads of goals during 3 loan spells with 3 different clubs this season, has been released by Roy Keane. Let''s move now, regardless of who our manager''s going to be, to secure this player whose goals will not only see us challenge near the top of League One but also provide a good investment for the club when he is resold for 2 or 3 million later on. A good partner for Cody, I think, in a new youthful and dynamic City strike force.

didnt see ipshit complaining when they signed danny haynes after we decided not to sign him up
 13. but what other options are there at the minute? robins would cost a fortune in compo, cant see us paying that so it would have to be someone out of contract/work - the only people like this i have heard about are Ince or Wise and i would rather have gunny over either of these two or some foreign manager who doesn''t know the league etc although if Martinez has a twin brother sign him up now
 14.
Reading between the lines, this is what I fully expect to happen too. And Munby will probably go as well - which I''ll be a little sad about.
but will they get a big pay of which the club cant afford?
 15. as i have posted on another thread the majority of people i have spoken too since Sunday wouldn''t object to gunny being given a chance to prove himself, myself being one of them. people on here are the minority not the majority as some people seem to think
 16. from the people i have spoken to on Sunday and since i would say the figure is nearer 50%. dont forget only a minority of fans actually post on here so dont take what is posted on here as the feelings of the majority of city supporters
 17. i think gunny has been harshly treated myself and i would be prepared to give him six months until January to see what he can do with his own team not one inherited from that useless twat Roeder, and i know some people will say that gunny was head of player recruitment but Roeder still only signed the players he wanted, which gunny proved when he took over by getting players in that Roeder had previously turned down (Lee and Gow for example)tin hat time I''m guessing
 18. what about Andy Cullen who left us to go to MK Dons? has had experience for a year working in league 1 and was well liked by supporter groups
 19.

http://carrowroad.net/carrow1/index.php?topic=5362.0
Found this out this morning (I''m a frequent poster on carrowroad.net). Not sure whether to believe it myself but it might explain why he was nowhere to be seen at The Valley today.
he was there today, sitting behind the bench with pattison and another baldie who i didnt recognise, drury was there as well to the side of the bench so im guessing his sore throat cleared up
 20.

shacks and otsem were orthodox full backs for the first 40 mins and the reason Charlton had so much space for their wingers was because both our full backs were crap and were caught out of position
Youll find out why betrand wasnt playing in the press tomorrow! Although i dont think it would have made much difference!
please tell us more?????????

 22. to add i thought we were going to switch to 3-5-2 when he brought cody on thinking he was going to take otsem off and go with the three centre backs so was surprised when he took leijer off
