He plays a midfielder deeper which bares responsibility for giving extra cover to the defence, turning over possession and starting counter attacks. This is a role we do not have a player who can do these things well, every player who plays this role lacks something which makes him effective.

Does it address every issue I have with the way the club is being run at the minute? No. Does it go into sufficient detail to help me understand the direction of travel the club is on and what Ben Knapper wants Norwich City FC to be? No Does it give me confidence in Ben Knapper? Yes. He says the right things. Definitely not as charismatic or forceful in his manner as Webber, but he's clearly a talented football man, the lines about youth pathway does give me encouragement and I like what he says. I hope to perhaps get better clarity in the summer when I think we'll start to see a bit more change undertaken.

Astounds me that even when on loan, Idah remains the scape goat of choice of many Norwich fans. It's in our interests he does well in Scotland. He'll come back with renewed confidence and a readiness to be our leading man. Or he comes back having added some value to any transfer.

Sara's single biggest failing is his inconsistency. At his best, he shows signs of being able to develop into a top, top premier league player. Then the next game he's absent or squanders the chances he's given. A frustrating player.

If Sainz keeps on doing what he's doing he's going to be getting a few admiring looks his way this coming close season. What a find that player has been.

Mixture of reasons. Some are underwhelmed with Idah himself. Seen three or four citing his goalscoring record. One or two questioning how he improves the squad. One or two belittling us. Some believe their board are doing things on the cheap. Quite a lot question the point of a loan that will end in the player returning in May. See it as a bit of a waste of cash. Quite a lot seem to think they need a left back which hasn't happened. Quite a lot are welcoming Idah, but believe they've had a bad window.

Something on one of the Pink Un podcasts recently stood out to me when Connor said that he was speaking to a football agent who described a real limited pool of good, young strikers. Sargent has shown over the past couple of seasons that not only does he work hard, but does know where the net it. It might be that a Premier League side looks at him and thinks for £20m he might be worth a punt.

Not just a loan offer, but a loan to buy offer. And Idah wants to leave. For me, this changes everything; I think if the offer was a reasonable one, I'd let him go. I'm a big disciple of the Guardiola "if he doesn't want to be here let him go" philosophy.

Honestly 🤦‍♂️ Kieffer Moore in his last season full season at this level scored 9 in 26. Adam Idah already has six having made 28 appearances. What's the point of getting someone who is arguably no better than Idah?

Consider 24 sides who each register a team of 25. Remember that those under 21 don't need to be registered, so some will have more than 25. Others will not. So let's take 25 as an average. 25 x 24 = 600. That makes Idah in the top 5% of goal scorers in the championship. I bet if you were in the top 5% of something you did you'd be pretty ****ing proud of yourself. I'd be astounded if you were, frankly.
