1.
Thought Mowbray looked beaten and ready to quit
Mowbray always looks like that though. Top bloke, would love him here (Binner or not).
 2.
Goodness me, the bloke has always been good with the fans, but ''wanting it enough'' wouldn''t bring success, if a manager in the top 92 clubs doesnt want it enough, he wouldnt be in the game...
Thanks for enlightening us with your statement of the obvious. What I actually said is that I think Flem''s got the tools to do the job. Whether he wants to do it is another question - he''s shown no sign of that yet.
 3. If we''re choosing a novice (like Mackay, Roberts, Dublin etc.) I''d go for Craig Fleming. He''s taken his coaching badges I think, he''s intelligent, a strong character, and has something at stake, because he''s lived in this area for 10 years and has brought up a young family here. It would be a massive risk without an experienced assistant, but I reckon he could do it if he wanted badly enough.
 4.
Didnt Bertrand play further forward much of last year with Camara behind him able to attack more than at left back. I have found that sometimes when Bertrand has overlapped with Bell Bell just crosses the ball into the centre leaving Bertand isolated by the opponents corner flag and our left side totally exposed.
That''s a good spot ridgeman - I hadn''t thought about it, but you''re right. Bertand just doesn''t look as confident as last year, and that''s probably something to do with it. Last year, Bertrand looked really good going forward, but this year he just looks lost a lot of the time.
 5. Let''s see how long it takes for someone to include "too slow" in their list of Doc''s weaknesses, which is the standard sort of tick-box criticism of any unfashionable CB. And then we can point out that he was in a foot-race with Nathan Tyson - one of the fastest forwards in the Division - at least twice yesterday and finished ahead. Mighty Gary Doherty!Mind you, he also nearly gave a goal away with a horrible back-pass.....
 6.

Think you''ll find the shit this country is in is part of a global recession. You may have noticed it on the news.
Or what  about a financially and morally bankrupt government hiding behind the so called global recession to gets its own  ars* out of the shi*. You sound like Doncaster.
Wish I was earning his money.
I wish HE was earning his money...
 7.
Finally i would ask how the Kitty is getting on but i understand from two Kitty men that you are not exactly in the loop these days.I will not embarass you further by letting everyone in on what i was told.
Snide git, aren''t you?
 8. flibble - this is what ZLF said
...shuffling the ball sideways with immense but fruitless efficiency.
We had a lot of possession, but pointless possession.
 9.
Since when has pace been at the top of the skillset for a centre back???  Try positioning and height, both of which he does not have.Dont ya just love the fans who watch but dont think.
Patronising. And wrong - Omozusi''s played very well at centre back for us, better than at right back. He''s made mistakes, but then so have Doc, Kennedy and Stefanovic. The only CB I haven''t seen make a serious mistake yet is Clingan, but we need him in midfield.
 10.
Oh joy, another chance for the country to see how shi* we are!
I missed it - were we shit?
 11.
For me, no he hasn''t got it right. Maybe if we had a goal scorer on the pitch we could have capitalised on the chances and possession we had in that 1st half. Here''s hoping we can create a few more this half and convert some.
A goal scorer - like Matty Pattison, you mean?
 12.
We aren''t allowed to moan about anything, and god forbid you say how you feel and it should be slightly negative [:#]
Seems to me that''s all you do 24/7, so please don''t whinge about not being allowed to whinge.
 13.

I imagine Roeder isn''t interested in keeping Bertrand because he''s been very poor this season. He''s nowhere near the player we had last year.
Why does he persist in playing him then?
A very good question - Drury looked a lot more secure at LB than Bertrand has lately.
 14. I imagine Roeder isn''t interested in keeping Bertrand because he''s been very poor this season. He''s nowhere near the player we had last year.
 15.
...the only reason we''re not in the bottom three is the other teams below us are crappier than City...
Brilliant analysis of the league system. How is it this chap wasn''t anyone''s pick for most intelligent poster?
 16.
looks like a man who''s been under big, big pressure, and just got a get out of jail free card!!!who cares what the poor pr**ck looks like - for me, it''s a genuine celebration and that says it all...
^^^ what he said ^^^I didn''t notice myself - I was too busy jumping up and down in the Barclay. And Roeder wasn''t very camp as a player, that I do remember.
 17.
Where the F has it gone? It was about the only decent thing Canaries World offered. [:''(]
You''re right - I get an error message "matchlive.canaries.co.uk could not be found. Please check the name and try again." This is the only reason I subscribe to this overpriced crap - so I can listen to games when I''m away. I''m going to make a complaint, don''t know how or who to yet, but I''ll find someone to carry the can. I hope every other subscriber will do the same.
 18. This is worthy of Canary Call: Smudger: "Evening Neil, I just want to say we''ve got to drive Delia out just like we did with Robert Chase".Neil: "Hi Smudger. Can you remind us what happened after you''d driven Chase out of the Club?"Smudger: "Well, yes - we had a rocky time trying to find an investor, and it looked like we were going under until someone came along and bought the whole basket of eggs".Neil: "Who was that then, Smudger?"Smudger: " It was ....errr... Delia"Neil:  "So you say that it was a total disaster last time, and you want to do it again? Thanks for your call Smudger. The next caller is Barry. Evening Barry...."
 19. But let''s get some perspective on this - we''re only so bloody miserable because we played so well in the first half. Looked at objectively, we lost by the odd goal in 5 to a side with a good home record. It''s the crap that''s gone before that''s hurt us.
 20. Actually, I think Cullum meant what he said - he has contempt for the "fans" who treated our well-meaning (if sometimes flawed) major investors so badly. Congratulations guys, you''ve pissed off our best hope of a prosperous future. The fact that most of you don''t have the guts to match your anonymous words with action of any sort should help though.
 21. The worst of the lot was Bertrand - totally useless. There''s something wrong with that lad these days. Drury was disastrous at centre back, but OK at left back. Otsemobor was useless at right back, but better going forward. No discipline in the first half - an utter shambles. Hoolihan, Bell, Clingan and Croft deserved better - they all made mistakes last night, but they played for the team, with determination and discipline.
 22.
Lim''s first law of football punditry: the longer you spend out of the team, the better a player you become. I quite like Lappin. But he''s obviously miles behind Drury and Bertrand at left-back, and well behind Bell and Pattison as a left mid. Roeder''s made enough mistakes. Leaving Lappin out is hardly one of them.
Don''t agree that he''s miles behind Pattison - quite the reverse. And I actually think that on current form he''s better than Bertrand, who''s been very poor lately. Lappin''s not as good as Bell in midfield, but a good option if Bell isn''t available.
 23.
It''s from wikipedia.
Oh, well then, it must be true*snigger*
 24. Something''s going on between Roeder and Lappin, because he hasn''t even been allowed out on loan. I don''t agree that Chadwick''s had the same treatment though - he played a few times under Roeder (though he never looked any cop) and has been allowed out on loan. Lappin is technically good but lightweight, but no worse than several other current players in that respect. And he played very well in the Ipswich game....
