1.
They will find plenty of dirt, but most of it from my dog''s backside......
That''s as good a description of this forum as I''ve seen.
 2. Putting myself in Roeder''s shoes, if I read this message board, I see some very extreme negativity - unreasonable negativity. I read unfair and unpleasant personal comments about myself and about the head of my Club, a lady of beyond retirement age. I realize I have no means of reply, and the posters know it, which makes them feel invulnerable which makes their posts more extreme. This makes me angry, and I go into the AGM brooding about it, because I''ve seen before how unpleant football fans can be. I may be a bit paranoid, but that doesn''t mean they''re not out to get me. These bastards don''t understand the challenges I and the Club are up against. They''re supposed to be supporters: where''s the support? If that''s the way they want it, that''s the way they''ll get it. The first thing is to put them straight about Delia....Just adding a different perspective.
 3.
Just a small correction, they haven''t given the club anything, they will get their money back have no fear of that, what they have done is loaned the club money.
A small correction to your correction - there''s no guarantee at all that she''ll get back what she''s invested, particularly in the current circumstances, in football and generally.
 4. I think it was done to fool Preston that Croft would be taking the kick - and it worked very well. But you can''t do it twice.
 5.
I was hoping today would be the day that I could report a turning point in the clubs fortunes and it would all be up from here on in. Unfortunately the omens weren''t good when we lost the toss and kicked the wrong way. History didn''t disappoint when we gave away a scrappy goal within 2 minutes. Its funny but we rarely ever get a result when kicking towards the River End first half, don''t ask me why, but its been the case for many years now. There followed a 50 minute period where the team looked pretty good. I thought Bell was very good throughout and Ryan Bertrand was much improved on recent performances. At the back the Doc was also very solid. Bbut it was all flattering to decieve, a combination of good goalkeeping and Croftys usual standard of finishing left us with no value from our superior possesion. Kennedy''s goal came out of the blue really because we did nothing much in the second half. Bell''s crossing was the only thing of quality on display. I listened to Neil Adams on the stroll back to Trowse and have to disagree with his conclusion that the ref had no choice in sending Russell off. If the Ref is unable to use common sense and see that the Preston guy was exercising gamesmanship on our free kick then he does not deserve to be a Ref. It was a perfect example of something that should never happen; the Ref''s arbitary decision deciding the game. I also heard a call from a guy called Drakey who commented that the playoffs were still on! Oh deary me, what possibilty do we have for change when so many of our supporters continue to live on the planet "Wishful Thinking". I am even more convinced that nothing will improve until we have regieme change. Sorry to end on a low note but I am very disappointed tonight.
Mmmm.... where to start? "Good goalkeeping" - like when Marshall rushed off his line in the second minute and gift-wrapped a gola for Preston? As for Kennedy''s goal being out of the blue - you admitted that we had superior possession, so one of those statements is wrong. The free kick was beautifully worked (how often can we say that?) - Croft and Bell deceived PNE really well, Bell put a fantastic ball in, and Kennedy was just where he needed to be. Bell''s close control was outstanding, not just his crossing, and more than a match for Hux in terms of effectiveness. Clingan was fantastic - moving the ball quickly and incisively. Sibierski and Lita were very dangerous in combination. Admittedly there were major flaws and individual mistakes, but if you can''t stomach them you shouldn''t go to games - anywhere. All in all a good game, until the 80th minute. I should check the bottom of your glass - there''s a hole in it.
 6.
Thanks Delia, for what it''s worth I thought it was a pi$$ poor game from 2 poor teams, neither of whom could do anything in possession and gave the ball away cheaply. Nothing for the fans to cheer about, it was dire. What I want to know is, what do they do at Colney all week ? I think we should be getting better from the players we have, the table doesn''t lie. Bell was easily man of the match, Lita, Doc and Clingan were Ok as for the rest God help us. My fear is, if we do go down, we will not get back up again. Roeder and Clark, we deserve better. The attendance was no where near the figure stated, huge swathes of empty seats, which will understandably increase if we keep dishing up garbage like that.
"for what it''s worth"...... well it''s worth nothing because you obviously weren''t at the game. We started at 3.10, which was unfortunate because Burnley started at 3.00, but once we got underway we played some very good football in patches - much more running off the ball and good natural width, moving the ball quickly from midfield (note - no Fotheringham). There were some individual mistakes, sure, but the overall quality was miles higher than I''ve seen sometimes this season. Stef got injured, but Doherty was absolutely mighty - I really like the look of a Doherty-Kennedy centre back pairing. Clingan and Bell botth played exceptionally well, Sibierski and Lita looked quality. And Burnley were far from poor - they played some good football as well. And then Russell got sent off and we panicked and then our heads dropped after they scored. That soured a generally good performance. I agree about the Pattison sub - my heart sank when I saw him take his tracksuit top off. The other sub (Jamie for Sib) was fair enough given his options.
 7. I''d question the "good touch" Mook - I always thought he was light on footballing skills generally - BUT he did get in where it hurts, and in a team full of clueless limp-wristed losers that made him a real beacon. Even when he played up front as a target man, he had no one near enough to lay it off to - they were all hiding in the long grass. Unfortunately, he looked no more likely to score himself than Crofty - why is it that at Norwich it''s only the most ineffectual players who put in 100% effort consistently? Anyway, good luck to Brown - anyone with his attitude deserves a decent career in football.
 8.
I can''t see us paying any more than 15k-18k a week for him. Maybe 15k from us and 10k from Wigan giving him 25k a week total... that makes more sense....
Sorry - no, that makes no sense at all. If we''re paying more than £8k it''s a disastrous piece of business. In truth, though, we have no idea how much any of our players are on.
 9.
I''m interested to know why everyone hates Delia so much even though she has pumped £12 million of her own money into the club, attends every home and away game, and even gave up her career as a tv chef to concentrate on Norwich City, I know we aren''t performing as we should at the moment (away from home anyway) but I want to know why its Delia who gets blamed for everything and not our actual chairman who will have a lot more say in what happens in the club than Delia Smith, surely Roger Munby will make the final decisions on everything that happens, so is it because Delia is a woman? (as MWJ''s doesn''t get the same abuse) or is it because she is a celebrity? I''m not looking to have an argument with anyone I just want to know why people  hate her and not Munby?
It''s called cyber-bullying, and it''s a modern phenomenon. It''s a lot less demanding of the bully, who doesn''t actually have to get anywhere near their victim. And that''s one reason why it''s even more contemptible than the old sort.
 10.
Take a look down the road at Ipswich , Jim Magilton in his first managerial role and he looks class compared to Roeder .
Sorry, can''t let that one go. Magilton''s had money to spend, and a big majority of ITFC fans think he''s totally wasted it. Not a good example to use.
 11.
Did you tell him he''s a bit rubbish at right back?
Played well against Wolves though. And Semmy''s a bit rubbish at right back, too.
 12. In my opinion, we weren''t 5-2 good. What we did do that we''ve not done with Fozzy in the team was get the ball to the strikers quickly, and Hoolahan gave us a creative spark which helped that. And Doherty was mighty....So we were good but not great.
 13. It was interesting that very few of our players congratulated him when he scored - not too popular in the dressing room I would say.
 14. "Chadwick from the bench has the ability to turn a game - he should be back with us."Your evidence for that statement is....? When he''s played for us he''s looked off the pace physically and mentally. Another "grass is greener" moment here, I think.
 15.

Interesting that everyone seems to know so much better than the people who saw him training day in day out, isn''t it?
It''s certainly looking that way, isn''t it?
No, it isn''t but it''s certainly sounding that way. Big difference.
True - it''s too soon to judge. I''m not one for carping at everything that GR does, but on this occasion I''m convinced he was wrong - if only because we got rid of a rare home-produced player with both talent and motivation. If he''s sold in the next year for significantly more than £400K, I (and many others) will have been proved right. If not, I''ll apologise.

 17.

QPR have bid £2m for Joe Lewis, thats a quick profit for Peterborough if it goes ahead isnt it? Another Roeder mistake!
And a healthy sell-on clause for us, I would think.
Oh, thats all right then! He seems good enough for everyone else except that fool, Roeder.........priceless cock up again!
No, you''re wrong.Lewis wouldn''t be playing, so it''s really 400k & any sell-on clause for nothing.  It isn''t a "cock up" until Marshall is sold/leaves.And you don''t know whether Roeder needed to sell him to balance the books - you''re just assuming, as usual, that Roeder doesn''t know what he is doing.
No - you''re wrong. What GR should have done (unless it was necessary to balance the books) was leave him out on loan until the end of the season, and make a decision between him and Marshall at the end of the season. Lewis caught the attention of a few clubs during his short spell at Morecambe, and that would only have increased with the U21 call-up. If GR had decided to sell him in the summer, we''d have got 100% of the price. Very disappointing to see him go in the first place, even more so to lose money on the deal.
 18.
Given where we are, letting Chadwick go without at least giving him a chance to prove himself in gettingt he ball into the box, completely baffles me.
He had chances to show in the reserves and as a sub, and didn''t take them. Take the blinkers off and tell me when, in the brief spells between injuries when he has played for the first team, has he impressed? He''s not impressed me, and I was a fan of his before he came. He always looked off the pace with us, so maybe he''s found his level with MK. Or maybe he''s just playing for a contract.
 19.
"What is important and what we didn''t do at Barnsley is that when we get the ball we retain it and make them chase us. We don''t have a long-ball game to fall back on and I don''t want us playing like that anyway." Sibierski obviously isnt a target man in Roeders eyes, despite the fact that practically all of Marshalls goal kicks were directed at him at Barnsley. The fact that it is now nearly a year since Roeder took charge and we still have no height in the team might exlain why we continually run out of ideas on the pitch. Also, if Roeder doesnt want us playing long ball why have we adopted that very tactic several times already this season? Not that I disagree with the long ball game of course but seems a strange choice of words imo. Anyway, lets hope the first sentance materialises tonight.
It''s very simple - the players lose the plot, they get scared, freeze up or whatever, and ignore all the training ground work and tactical lessons and default to hoofing the ball up-field. Doesn''t the fact that they''ve done this under many different managers and coaches, all of whom have said that they want the players to pass the ball through midfield, tell you that it''s nothing whatever to do with anyone except the players?
 20.
I would rate Chadwick as more likely to produce an end product ie a goal or assist above any of those four.
Why? He hasn''t shown that for the first team, and he didn''t for the reserves. He''s no better, though probably no worse, than the others in that respect. And he''s lost his pace and still gets injured a lot.
 21. Bertrand to left midfield, Drury in at LB, Grounds and Dejan CMs, Semmy RB - my guess.......
 22.
but to be fair, sheff utd controlled the majority of the game and missed quite a few chances.
Not the game I saw, they didn''t. We ripped them apart in the first half, but couldn''t take our chances (nothing changes). We played really well that half, but couldn''t concentrate for the whole 90 minutes.
