shacks and otsem were orthodox full backs for the first 40 mins and the reason Charlton had so much space for their wingers was because both our full backs were crap and were caught out of position
Youll find out why betrand wasnt playing in the press tomorrow! Although i dont think it would have made much difference!
please tell us more?????????
He has been a bad boy............ Karma: +15/-0 Offline Posts: 5345 City player in fight « on: May 02, 2009, 08:18:45 PM » This will more than likely hit the press very soon, but a young City player believed to be a loanee, was involved in an unsavory scene at Optic Nightclub,  he apparently man-handled a girl into the toilets , for whatever reason, I daren''t guess,  clearly he didn''t know that the girl''s husband was in the same room.  The hunsband burst into the toilet to save his wife and a altercation ensued, it is believed two other City players were also invloved in breaking the ruckus up.
 2.
Tim, I think you''ll find it is just terminology for putting pressure on the board to review the viability of their tenure and the owners to ask themselves some searching questions when valuing their shareholding. I don''t take it literally although I agree with the sentiment.
I love it when fans come back an say."who''s going to sack the board"Terminology all the way! why waste your breath in saying it!
 3.
90 per cent of the calls were letting the board have it and bigfella made a fantastic call but at final whisle you could hear both applauding and anti board/players chants
Like i said when i went on the applauding was to clighan, macdonald and lee who actually came over, when the other players arrived over, then the chants started....
 4. I got on canary call after the game, being at the Valley i didnt listen to the reaction after the game, but adams went straight in and asked me why the fans clapped the players after the game???From where i was we were singing, "your not fit to wear the shirts"?? Can some one shed some light, and gage the reaction of the call in

 7.
I think it was 50/50 until today, however after this performance I cannot believe he will hold onto the reigns. Cast your mind back, he was given the role after beating Barnsley. Mumby gave it all the ''look at the smiles'', ''players were lifted by the new team in charge'', ''togetherness'' etc etc. All of those statements seem like a distant memory now .. we are now playing worse than before he took over .. we have gone backwards. I do not blame him and all credit to him for holding his hands up today and taking the blame. Crook is the obvious other choice with Butterworth as his number 2. Gunny steps back into his former role [on half the salary] and we have a cheap solution which looks a little more tactically astute ?? Australia to Norwich for 3 months ?? hes on a promise i say !
\Agreed , but i think after the board meeting wednesday, Gunn will be re leaved of his duties..
 8.
from where i was everyone was aiming their abuse at Marshall, think they had all given up on otsem after the first minute!!!!!
Marshall wasnt the only one who looked shakey........... i wouldnt mind if they attacked the ball. But we didnt seem into it at all, you wouldnt actually belive we were gonna go down........ the tatics were as poor as the team, after being 3 down, gunn makes a sub keeping the same formation! Brillant!!
 9.
I''ve added this to another thread, but I though I''d start a new one up.  Everyone seems to be banging on about waning Gunn to get the boot, but I''d just like those people to list 10 things he''s actually done wrong.  I''ve pre-empted the predictable retort to this by listing 10 things he''s done right:- 1) Signed Cody McDonald for peanuts 2) Brought Jason Shackell back 3) Dropped the underperforming team Captain Fotheringham out of the squad 4) Did the same with whingy Pattison 5) Dropped Cureton when he wasn''t performing 6) Has tried to get Norwich playing the old way i.e two wingers and attack minded (just happens that the players are *) 7) Identified the lack of a target man and brought in Alan Lee 8) Identified that we need a goal scorer and brought in Mooney 9) Has been the first manager for ages to bring talented youngsters into the first team 10) Is and will always be Norwich City through and through. He''s been let down by the * players he''s inherited.
urmmmmmmmmmm i am a fan i could identify them, the facts are 20 games 5 wins, even if we did keep him do you think the board will invest in him and back him???  i still have concerns he has footballers around him and knowing we needed to win 2 games, he didnt change formation, and only looked to change things when we had 20 or so minutes left.......... I like Gunn but as a manager he gives me doubts, i wont be chanting Gunn out, but i do want the board to go!
 10.
From This to this.... in 4 Years . Prudence With NO Ambition
If we are lucky we might get diss town in the 1st round of the FA cup!
 11.
I was at The Valley, and around me (E Block) there weren''t too many happy clappers. Lots of anti-board songs going round, and songs about fishy Charlton fans... Which was pretty amusing. And, at the end of the game, there we plenty of booing and hand gestures in the direction of Delia and her cronies. So not as "happy clappy" as everyone thinks.
Alot of happy clapping came from Delia and co in the directors area!! seemed like they were having a whale of a time!
 12.
Was at the beam back after the cock up for Charlton tickets.  Firstly was a disgrace for drink prices, 2 60 for a coke and 3 00 for a beer on top of the fiver to get in, next this was that the picture on the TV''s were shit so cheers for that!Main topic now.  The guy in the dark blue t-shirt standing near the portrait of the Milk Cup winning squad, you my friend are one of the reasons this club are in the position we are in.  Delia was shown on the screens and rightfully boo''d and this guy went of the handle, swearing and was held back so he wouldn''t attack a kid (late teens) who was chanting sack the board. To you sir, f*ck off.  No point to this thread other that in hope that he reads this, he knows who he is.  Granted she has put in 11 million over HALF of which is a loan.  Wake up shes the owner she should be putting money in, GET HER OUT.Open day tomorrow, ill be there, having a chat with Marshall and Otsemabor and Lappin and Money and Russell if they show up and me and a couple mates (if they haven''t ended it all by then) will be giving Delia a peice of our minds weather at the fans forum or outside the ground.  So f*cked off with thsi club, its a disgrace, sorry Gunn your not a manager your a great man but seriously get out of the limelight now.  Resign just dont ruin it for you.
I was at the game and to be fair, the people around me had varied views, although they agreed the board must go, they were not willing to chant sack the board!!! they could not argue the case why they should stay, just she has invested alot of money!Wizard, at the end of the game the board after hearing your not fit to wear the shirt, they where clapping and having a whale of a time!! not impressed..............worst day in the clubs history and not much to smile about!
 13. it will be interesting to see how it develops over the summer! we must get a manager in who actually knows what he is doing.....and yes i think it may be for the best, the board havent see it for years, now it has hit them straight in the face!
 14.
that isint the reason we relegated were here because were sh*t but that was just another one of roeder''s almighty c*ck up''s !! And it is also becuase of plenty of them were now playing againts Yeovil Town give me strength. Cueton was playing poor at the time, fans were on his! what do expect? we have been poor for years! not just this season....
15.
Top Top man! doing a great job for Huddersfield and would do a great job for us! We got a great deal worse when he left.
I think roeder lost a lot when he left, shame reallly............. but gunn it will be. Unless we have investment!
 16.
erm i think he was giving a reference to how quiet the river end is.
Yeap gathered that! the corner we are in do actually sing....just seem to love the board!

 19.

Whatever Cullum did or didn''t do has had no effect on this club whatsoever!! He was not the one who has seen the recruitment of managers, players and internal staff nor the getting rid of the likes of Huckerby, the non signing of Taylor and the removal of a back room team. The fact that this board hid behing the smokescreen speaks loads of their desparation and the fact that they were clueless on how to run this football club. Maybe Cullum gained PR from the saga but our board should have knocked it into touch and moved on with the daily business about running this club. Instead they used it like a Labour PR spin machine to sidestep the normal business of running this club. Cullum has never once had a hand in the Huckerby saga, the signing of Taylor, the recruitment of Roeder and his Newcastle back team, the hiring of the Gunn super team, the sacking of back room staff and all the other sagas that this board have let happen. The board should have been alot firmer in their response and at times their silence was deafening because it said the real truth about Delia and her cronies! Don''t go looking for scapegoats when the real culprits are staring us in the face!!
Ive already said that I am not taking much blame away from Delia and co, yes your quite right, they dont know how to run this football club, have appointed two awful managers who have bought sub standard players, released our most exciting player, sold good players and didnt invest the money back into the squad. You dont have to promote your anti board beliefs to me, I can out argue any pro delia muppet.... trust me. At the same time, irrespective of Delia and Co..... in fact why dont you just completely remove them from the equation. Why did Cullum use the press to stir up the fans? Why did he feel the need to go to Archant to be PICTURED and state clearly that he wanted to invest in the club, before making no offer whatsoever for our football club?Do you think that this had no effect whatsoever on the atmosphere at Carrow Road? Do you think that this had absolutely no effect on the atmosphere at Colney and in the club?He stirred up some emotions that left Carrow Road gloomier than ever, the fans stopped getting behind the team, thats exactly the kind of atmosphere that promotes unconfident and frustrated performances.I disagree with you entirely. Cullum has played a part in making our season what it is. If the fans didnt think that there were better people than Delia out there (which at the moment their evidently isnt) then they would have got behind whatever team was thrown out onto carrow road. The fans are the 12th man, and we have been the 12th man for our recent better form. We didnt have a 12th man for at least two months whilst the Cullumgate stuff was happening, and I firmly believe that the 12th man during those 2 months would have earnt us at least 3 points, probably more.No cullum = No bad atmosphere. No bad atmosphere = happier, more confident playersHappier, more confident players = More good results.More good results = Higher league positionHigher league position = no relegation. No relegation = Better squad next season.Better squad next season = happier city. Cullum is a t*sser.
Have you actually been to a match?? i don''t know any Norwich fans that havent got behind the team!!! Of course there are issues with the board due to there miss management and the lack of investment, the only issues i see are Fans backing the board, giving them confidence to continue in there bad management!!The fact is Delia and co didnt want cullums money, for what reason we might never know.........but from a fans eye she turned it down, know you cant Blame cullum for that! The manager manages the team, the board picks the manager,The board fronts the managers ambitionambition is what the board need.Need some luck tomorrow.I for 1 hope cullum comes, or adminstration is a real threat and delia and co are theonly ones to blame!!!
Whats the point in having an anti-delia argument with somebody that is already anti-delia? It strays completely away from my point, which is about Cullum.Have I been to a match? dont patronise me, have you been to a match before 3 seasons ago? Carrow Road has been at its most dead and gloomy for years for most of this season, the Barclay werent singing for months, no creative songs, no real passion or fight.  Its you that hasnt been to enough matches mate. Yeah they have got behind the team recently, and always do away from home, but their have been some of the quietest games I have known at times this year.Delia didnt turn down any offer, she had it in writing that no offer was made, Archant had it in writing that no offer was made. This is all a foregone conclusion, Cullum had the talk but not the walk. He never had any intention of making a serious offer and didnt.Get your facts straight.
Munich.........Liverpool last kop game....Aysome park quailerfing for europe, semi at hillsborough and villa, season ticket from 1990.......do you want me to go on???? As for cullum invest or not he is not part of our board and isnt making desicions on footballing matters, Hence sticking firmly to board out!!!!
 20.
No ''cos it''s really not worth crying over bloody football.
To be fair ill be annoyed ,not really sure my mind has set that we are actually in this position! but a tear may be shed, this is a big day for Norwich city, i went to Munich, i went to ayesome park when we quailfed for europe, and the last Kop game of the season, millinium stadium  we could go on, this will be a sad day!come on you yellows and pilgrims!!
 21.
Honestly cant understand them, ofcourse they are entitled to their opinion but they dont let you have yours! You wait and see on Sunday. The first sign on anti Delia chanting and they will jump on it. IT MAKES ME F*****G SICK................................
We got lynched in the river end on monday!!! and the game had finished, there are a lot of board lovers out there!
 22.
Why are you walking?
Noop just got 20 macdonalds to visit! lol
