See my other post: http://www.pinkun.com/cs_pinkun/cs/forums/1977172/ShowPost.aspx I''m also doing the London Marathon in April in aid of the excellent local Norfolk Charity - Break, which has been helping vulnerable people in Norfolk for over 40 years.  I also have a page for donations www.justgiving.com/marathon4break  Good luck with your run Imc, hope the training is going ok?  I''m also doing the Reedham 10 mile (this sunday), Wymondham 20 mile and Broadland half marathon as practice runs, maybe see you at one of those?
I''ll see you at the Wymondham 20 on March 6th.  I''m running the Virgin London Marathon for CLIC Sargent, a charity which supports children who have been diagnosed with cancer. For reference/out of interest, Just Giving take 5% of all donations as their "fee" which is why I don''t use them.  There are other options which offer a better deal for charities, such as BeMyCharity or Virgin Money Giving.
Mr chops you pay for all of them Just giving is the first of these help sites to spring up! hence the most popular... As a charity you have to pay for this service as you do with virgin money and the other one! Much the same, although i think virgin is slightly cheaper as its new! we are working with clic sargent as Jake Humphrey is our celebrity ambassador  and clic sargents i  think is eddie jordon....... we are looking to host an event sometime in the furture! Good luck with your run and keep up the good work!have a look at this and help to support us. cheershttps://rogavi.com/raffle/break/executive-box-for-8-people-at-carrow-road--hosted-by-jake-humphrey-and-jeremy-goss/

Thanks, I''m planning on publicising the site everywhere I go in order to raise as much money as possible for such a worthwhile cause.
Not with me it ain''t, there''s already a surplus of aid/cash to Hati as it is...........try nearer to home!
I hope what you are saying is that you think there are more worthwhile causes and not that this isn''t a worthwhile cause.
No I think he''s saying that every time a major disaster like this happens with blanket media coverage there''s a lemming like rush to donate, often at the expense of other, less well publicised, equally needy causes.  Donate by all means (I have) but don''t neglect other charities.
well said!

It''s quite sad really[:''(] Young Nana obviously has a massive void in his life(going by his 12 month post count) where growing up should be. At his age I was out playing knock down ginger or falling out of some tree or other, or playing kiss chase with my buddies and all the local girls(kissing the girls no my mates), we played football or rugby through the winter months and cricket through the summer. These days they never leave their bedrooms. It''s all a bit sad.[:(] Still when he comes of age there''s always one of these new fangled dating sites. He''ll be able to meet a girl without ever leaving his bedroom.[;)]
Post of the year so far.
There was only one part of a girl I was interested in when I was his age and luckily for banana he already is one.
Do girls have bananas? [;)]
only the ones you meet wazzock!!!

 18.
Whilst I don''t have full knowledge of the the in''s and out''s of going into administration as I understand it we would obviously lose 10pts, but as I understand it we would only have to pay around 10-20% of our debt if we went into administration rather that the full £20m that is owed.  Promotion is likely to yield a £4m windfall approximately.Purely from a footballing point of view if we took the 10pt deduction we would move back to 3rd place (albeit with those in 4th and below having games in hand).  It would place us 7 points behind Charlton with them having a game in hand.  Since Lambert took over (the Wycombe game) we have averaged 2.33 points per game in comparison to Leeds 2.28, Charlton 2.08, Colchester 1.84, Swindon 1.83.  On this basis, and I know previous results do not always guarantee future success, the end of season league table would look as follows (rounded to nearest point):Leeds  105ptsCharlton  96ptsNorwich 91ptsColchester 85ptsSwindon 84ptsOn this basis it does rather beg the question if in the long term interests of the football club we would not be better to go into administration, reduce our debts by somewhere in the region of £16m+, still end up guaranteed a playoff berth, and still have a chance of getting automatic promotion should Charlton in particular stumble.  And in all likelihood assuming we can subsequently keep hold of the majority of players that we have we would more than likely go up the following year......All of this might be nonsense if I have missed out some of the fundamentals of going into Administration, but when you look at it in the longer term it does make some sense......
theres a fair chance the debts are secured on the ground! the grounds worth more then the debts, meaning we could sell to pay of the debts... the debts are manageable, man u have 700 milllion, west ham 123 million, think we need to put this into perspective!
 19.
All Norwich Fans should Boycott the News of the World until we get an apology.
What a stupid thing to say! The story isnt far wrong so why boycott it?? we have been on the verge of bankruptcy for years, most football clubs are!
 20.
I''ve thinking more and more that someone involved in the Football League weekly is a Canaries fan (maybe the producer or a presenter?)Maybe it''s just the fact that we''re doing so well, but there is always a pretty strong focus on our team. The City badge is placed in a perfect position behind the main presenter when the show comes on and always seems most prominent (could just be that the colour stands out, but it''s still very central and prominently placed) They also usually show all the Championship games before any League One games, but when we played Colchester last week they showed us first before going to all the Championship games and then back to League One. Again, it could just be that it was a big match with a lot of build-up beforehand, but they did show a lot of the game and had some good pre-match stuff too..That can all be explained I guess, BUT at christmas they had a little xmas tree near the front of the studio and whilst the camera panned from the tree to the presenter I noticed a city keychain or something on the tree. I rewound (sky plus) and saw that it was in fact a little Norwich City shirt hanging from the tree. It was also the only football related thing on the tree. Everything else was xmas related (baubles etc)..So anyway, long story short, I''ve been thinking for a while that somebody behind the show must support City too. Anyone else noticed it? May have missed a previous thread about it, but just wanted to share my thoughts (pointless as they are!) Hopefully we''ll keep winning and they''ll show more and more of us as I live in York and it''s the only time I get to see the boys play!OTBC
There are a few norwich fans about believe it or not! i think your detective work could be right!
