It showed how much we went backwards in the last owners few years when teams we use to be better than (Brighton, Brentford) have improved and are light years ahead of us now. No easy fix. All a bit depressing really!

We can not rely on a striker that is always injured for a third of the season and we have to find a replacement for an ageing captain.

If we can scout a better cheaper replacement then I am all for it. As one of the more experienced squad members he is probably not worth his current wage. Much better that Long but that is not saying much.
