Not really sure on current value of the collection. I got some of my best late 80s and early 90s ones from a tiny shop in the front room of a terrace house near Hillsborough Stadium across a few away fixtures, no idea if it's still operating but I'm praying Wednesday go up so I can find out next season. Norwich City wise. I've got a growing collection of pin badges from the 70s, 80s, 90s, up to almost 50 and have started exploring ways and means of displaying them. This is the only NCFC thing I've really collected other than keeping all my ticket stubs from childhood. Never kept kits etc. My dad had a massive collection of about 1200 Norwich City programmes but flogged them all to a dealer when downsizing from a house to a flat a few years back. Seem somebody on here say they had a full collection of Edwardian Nest postcards which must have been worth a few bob.

Gilmour just wasn't ready for that level of football last season. He had so little experience of senior football and we expected him to run things in the Premier League. Was utter madness. No joined up thinking at all at this club. Look at Trybull being packed off when he would have played more football than Normann had he been kept on.

Dowell leaving doesn't mean we necessarily want him to go, could well just have had enough. Club is toxic, and going backwards, and a free agent is in a strong negotiation position so will probably be looking at a healthy signing on fee.

Has never looked like a winger, number 10 perhaps. Was signed as a winger though, so another dreadful signing. Also has never looked to have the legs required for the Farke high press. We just have a sporting director with no clue.

What was the actual point in digging up and bumping this thread. Man on forum had opinion on footballer which turns out wrong. Stop the press. I also thought that Gibson was a quality signing at the time, on paper, think he's a bang average centre back.

See it doesn't bother me being in this league, just want to watch players who can control a ball and a team which can string a few passes together.

If he does then fair play. I won't begrudge him whatever job he does next, just feel that his time is up here and we need somebody with fresh ideas and a fresh set of contacts.

That's a very good point actually, his desire to use youth but also understand the need for experienced heads and good pros like Gary O'Neil and Carlos Cuellar, who have had careers that the kids can look upto. I feel that this is something missing from our team. Nothing wrong with signing a 31 year old or two on a 2 year deal if doing so helps you bring through a couple more kids that will end up going for £15m.
