1. So how would bringing on young Rossi prevent Adam Drury picking up an injury?
2. Rangers are sending Francis Jeffers back to Charlton after they decided not to make his move permanent (BBC). Worthy was close to bringing Jeffers here before Rangers came in for him. Curbishley doesn''t want him, Worhinton likes him, Cash + Jeffers looks possible. Not sure about Jeffers - cant see him scoring 20 goals a season.
3. You are such a bad person, are you related to Satan? Nice one!
4. Joe Royle''s Ipswich were second best all over the pitch and it was no surprise when a second goal arrived for the Tigers. (BBC Quote) "I couldn''t be happier with the performance and I''d have been just as frustrated with one point and 2-0 was no reflection of the game for me." ( Joe Royle''s take on the game!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/4538026.stm Next he will be telling us he has the best side in the division...........................again!!
5. Am I the only one who noticed that the Dukes arrival coincided with the Southampton players fighting with us, themselves and even their own supporters? Welcome Back Leon!!!
6. Oh so funny! Why hasn''t anyone thought of a stunt like that before? At least Hughes plays like he actually gives a damn.
7. George Burley has been sacked / walked from hearts. If Worthington leaves (and I''m still on the Worthy in side ( just!)) who thinks we should approach him? Once a binner always a binner ( Hamilton! ) or Should we embrace them if they have seen the light (Trevor Putney!)
8. Whilst its dissapointing that we cant have the infill what would you rather? After all if we had sold Deano in the summer we could of had loads of new seats. Sounds too much like the dark days of Master Chase to me when we sold players and bought bricks. We have to be realistic, we have a large debt which needs to be reduced and this seems to make sense, particulary when as ND says it''s far more cost effective to build a new tier on the City Stand. Sounds like a good deal to me, Well done the board.
9. You said he should go and I Defended the man. I was wrong. He aint Curbishley. Can you ever forgive me?
10. Easy George! Was Neil Adams any good? He had quality and wasn''t too bad at penalty kicks either! As for the phone in I listen most weeks and the standard of callers is pretty poor but that isn''t Neils fault. Most of the callers call in with negative comments even though they haven''t been to the game ( no I''m not haven''t a dig 1st Wiz!!) and are just calling to have a moan. Have some respect Barclay Boy.
11. oh how I enjoyed singing top of the league at portman road! I''ve a nasty suspicion the tables may be turned tomorrow! Hold tight coz this is going to hurt!!
12.
big ginge not sure how you can say that because curbishley stayed at charlton, that we will be okay. there are three managers a season who get relegtated from the premier and how many of them have tur...
Yes Charlton won the league Rich, and how many of their final twelve games did they win? 2! To listen to all you moaners I guess they should of been relegated. Get real, its only 6 games. City will go up. Worthington is the man to take us.
13.
burley has hearts top in scotland so seems unlikely, and can''t imagine taylor moving either, nor o''neil. I think we need to look at a younger coach, maybe bowen with williams as his experienced numbe...
Well spotted Rich, Charlton are in the premier league. How did I miss that?  Oh and Rich -  Curbishley and Charlton were struggling in Division1 like ourselves.  Thats a really big difference.
14. yawn yawn yawn - Every year we hear the same from charlton fans about Curbishley - Until he turns it around. Get behind Worthy because he aint goin nowhere!
15. Why all the doom and gloom. Todays performance was a major improvement as anyone who travelled to see mk dons on tuesday will agree. The major difference today was in the middle of the park. We were winning our fair share of balls and passing through midfield which in turn led to a stronger looking back line. Two strong teams pretty much cancelling each other out. If only Mckenzie and Ashton could hit some form then we would never of lost this game. Stop moaning and get behind your team.
16. Am I allowed to use the word shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite to describe this post?
17. I''m disappointed but lets look at it another way. If city were due to fly out to Egypt for a tour and the players indicated that they were concerned following the recent events there would you expect the club to listen or take them anyway irrespective of the players and their families feelings? Not great pre season preparation to upset your entire squad!
18. Behave! Its part of sport. Ashton has a slight strain and was rested as a precaution. If the game itself was important he would have played. Is also well known that Ashton suffers with his hamstrings. Jarret was just unlucky. It happens.
