We are so slow to everything that needs any kind of pace. We don't win 2nd balls or show any speed or incisiveness going forward. Always turning back...we wouldn't ever get on the Caister lifeboat.

The bottom line is we are not as cute as the seasoned PL teams. They make the most of the fine margins available. We play nicely, don't engage in tactical fouling (17 fouls from Utd on Saturday - a lot in the middle to break up play), haranguing the referee at every possible opportunity (Ronaldo was moaning 1-2-1 with the ref about Krul time-wasting on about 50 minutes when he wasn't doing any such thing), and we stay on our feet in the penalty area where others would 'buy' a penalty (God, I hate that phrase). We've seen this 4-5 times this season where we have been nudged or pulled slightly inside the area but carried on. Do we play naively/honourably? Yes Will it win marginal matches? No
