1.
Our only hope now is to appoint a specialist fire fighter with the experience of getting teams out of trouble and to spend our way out of trouble  on top of the champoinship quality loanees. Gunn''s signings have made no impact whatsoever but i don''t necesarily blame him for that, he was the wrong man at the wrong time and the board can add that to their ever lengthening list of mistakes.
errrrrrrrr? We sacked the relegation specialist remember, bottom of the league, 13 games unbeaten,  opppppppppppssssss? what have we done. Oh yeah we paniced about season ticket sales and all got on Roeders back until the squad hated him as much as the fans. Then we got a city legend in to boost moral and keep the fans quiet, sell season tickes (17k of them) and then forgot to mention that he''s never been a manager before, let alone tried to get a sh*t team out of the bottom 6 (then). Oh dear, its all a bit too late now isn''t it ...! I''ve had enough! Final
2. The figures are all there, its the first two figures that count, I think the last is goals scored. Sorry I pasted this in, it was a table, then the forum has removed the lines.   :) Same results
3. Coventry 35 47 -2 40      Doncaster 36 46 -12 31      Derby 35 45 -3 45     Plymouth 37 43 -11 36     Watford 35 42 -5 52     Blackpool 37 42 -13 36     Nottm Forest 37 41 -12 40     Barnsley 34 39 -12 33     Southampton 36 37 -16 36     Norwich 37 36 -11 46     Charlton 36 27 -23 38       We Are Doomed! Nail in the Coffin 2-0 against Blackpool Can''t see us winning 4-6 games now. I have mixed feeling, sad that this can happen to a club with 25k fans like Norwich, Glad that the board have got what they deserve, but very worried what will happen in League 1 or worse? Cheers All, time for a bottle of red I think.
4.
Hwllo League 1 and we thoroughly deserve to be there.
Nail in the coffin   Had to beat Balckpool, you are spot on. Blackpool hadn''t won in 6 games! Until they play Norwich! 6 pointer it was! Nothing we got! The mightly ex Prem Norwich can''t even beat the little old Blackpool!!! Good God, at least I won''t have to watch it next season. I''m so angry we deserve so much more than this tripe! Cheers
5.

NO Fozzy! Disconsent in the ranks of the team that played Coventry. A Good Win at QPR.   Surely Pattison deserves at chance on the bench.   He MAY just be the extra we need. I fancy a flutter that he scores against the scum twice this year? Wouldn''t that be good! Cheers All
Is is correct that Gunny is overlooking Matty as punishment for voicing his feelings over Roeder''s dismissal?
I think so!!! If this is correct then, its all a bit petty! Pattison was regarded as a forward going midfielder, liked by some loathed by others but to me worth a shot in the team, better than som eof the same old same old. If we go down we will lose Patty, and regret it, If we stay up and he doesn''t play then we could still lose him as gunns got a bee in his bonnet. Derby day hero to stuck in the reserves, and why, will we ever really know? more fool you gunn. you need all the players you can get!   Cheers All
6. NO Fozzy! Disconsent in the ranks of the team that played Coventry. A Good Win at QPR.   Surely Pattison deserves at chance on the bench.   He MAY just be the extra we need. I fancy a flutter that he scores against the scum twice this year? Wouldn''t that be good! Cheers All
7. Totally Agree, I wanted Bothroyd or Ince, But as you have said the chants of '' "Bryan Gunn, Bryan Gunn hes got no hair but we don''t care" cemented his name in the job. Did the others even get an interview. Anyway thats in the past now. Will the board ever learn? Can you imagine a ropund table with Grant, Worthy, Roeder and Gunn on it. I bet a few jokes could be said there! Lets hope that Crook and Butterworth start to help Gunn more and get us winnign again. DIFFERENT PLAYERS! Pattison! for god sake play the man!!!
8. Was it REALLY time for him to go? We all know his Fan relations & personal Skills weren''t the best, BUT would we be where we are now? Surely even Roeder wouldn''t have lost or drawn the last 5-6 games? DID the board panic sack him because of the lack of fans after at the FA cup Game against Charlton. WAS it two or three games too soon? IMO: I think it may have been a little too soon, ok Roeder was on his out with another two or three loses, and the team did rally behaind Gunn afterwards, BUT ... Gunn and Co don''t have the ability of Roeder and Co. And I''m wondering if Roeder was still here we may have been a few more points better off. We all know its not all Roeders fault we are where we are, its the board, the lack of cash etc ... What do you all think, would we have beaten any of the other teams with Roeder still at the helm, at least Cureton wouldn''t have come back! I''ve never wanted Gunn incharge, I wanted an Ince or similar, but I have got behind the boys at the games, it just seems such a mess now, and all too late. Cheers All
9. You all know that I have been asking why Pattison isn''t even in the team or on the bench? (and its not because he''s cr*p!) Surely now after 6 games with the same ish team and midfeild we MUST chnage something. LAPPIN? PATTISON? dare I say it ... EAGLE? Take CURETON OFF Gunny, just because he''s you old playing day mate!! he was only a boy then! He missed from 2 yards for god sake!! CORT  the new boy up Front. (sorry forgot his name but deserves a chance). Lets face it anythings better than the cr*p I''ve watched all season. IF WE GO TO IPSWICH NEEDING TO WIN TO STAY UP I WILL CRY!!!!! (or something similar) WHY?  .... the last three weeks on Canary phone in I have texted to the Radio Norfolk Number a question, WHERE IS PATTISON? and not once has it been read out. Where is Pattison! Cheers All
10. Both deals look good. Just incase you can''t be bothered to visit the site ... £20 a month for an exclusive handset, looks classy and unlimited texts + internet Also 8mb Broadband, unlimited, Unlimited calls to 01,02,03 and 0845 and 0870!!! 24 hours a day. Take both deals or if you are a current DPC customer then you get free calls to 5 mobile numbers! In the end of the day it looks not a bad offer, might pop-in to the norwich store and ask for more info, its better than some of the offers NCFC have had in the past. With the current state of the accounts at the club the more money they can get the better. As you may know I''m not renewing the season ticket this year, as moneies tight etc etc .. so the more money I can save the better. Worth a look, thats up to you ..   Cheers All
11. Cheers Wizard and Spartan We all have our own budgets and beliefs. Last season I thought I''d give Roeder a shout, like Grant before him. I simply can''t afford to let city have another go with Gunn & Co. I''ve said my bit, cheers for the support. Cheers All
12.
Why do people keep coming on here to start their own threads about them not renewing, like they think everyone gives a to$$?! It''s getting really annoying, if you''re not renewing, good for you, the world doesn''t need to know about it. If we go down we need all the support we can get next year. Also says something that you started your season ticket when the Jarrold opened, halfway through the promotion season - and now you''re not renewing because you think we''re going down and the board are terrible etc - typical bandwagon jumper.
I come on here because I do give a Sh*t about the club. If not I wouldn''t have gone the last 4 seasons!! I got the season ticket when the Jarrold stand was built as a birthday present. I wasn''t even expecting it at all. I feel bad about ''leaving the club'' but I have a 2 year old daughter, I scaped the barrel last season getting the cash only to watch this seasons cr*p again. I''d rather spend the weekend with my family than wtch this Cr*p again. I will come again, I may even sign another season ticket in years to come, but not now. I posted it on here just to let others know, and to get a reaction form others in the same boat. I''m not a bandwagon jumper, if I was I''d support Man Utd or Liverpool!!! We shouldn''t be going down in the first place, we shouldn''t be in this position, I mentioned Wizard and Smudger because they have stuck by there guns about the board for a long time. I have not always agreed with them like many others on the forum BUT they seem to be making sense. The board is too blame for this mess, bad cash management and a big ''panic'' after the Charlton FA cup game when only 14k turned up. I could type on here all night, but why bother, I know its a forum and I can invite critisim but surley you can see my opinion? Cheers Anyway... The last game at home will be a sad day whatever happens.
13. True where is Bl**DY LAPPIN, why not LAppin and Patty in Midfield ??? the current lot with the exception of Clingan are crap.   Give em a chance!!!!!!
14. Hi All   I''ve been posting on here for a while now and I will continue to. I love NCFC and I''m a current season ticket holder. I joined when the New Jarrold stand was built, got a cracking first season winning the league and it been down hill on a slippery slope ever since. I like the mate I go with have had about enough now, OI said that its was 28 days top go then 14, well to be honest seeing the signs on the boards Saturday saying ... 6 days 12 hours, blah, blah blah just made me angry! 6 days to pay up or the deal will cost more. Do they think they are Zenith Windows, must buy now or else policy! Its not just that like many I have lost it with the current board, I like Delia but the runnign of the club is a joke. 25K fans and can''t balance the books??? Oh Dear. So are Crystal Palace, Donacaster etc etc etc all very skint because they only get 11k or more fans??? Anyway I''ve made a desision. Told the fans around me on Saturday. I''ll get a membership for a £10 but thats it. Cheers All, Hope to chat again soon.
15. Whats up with you lot?   One minute we praise the guy for his effort the next he''s not even in the squad. ''IF'' he was seen in a mood at 2.55pm on saturday leaving the ground then thats our loss! We need ALL the help we can get at the moment, CORE players will stay loan players will leave. Next season without the CORE we might as well start with minus 10 points!!!   NOT ONE REPLY FOR THIS POSTING??? Have we all forgot Pattison? He plays better than most City players yet we all seem to have just accepted that Gunn and Co don''t like him so he''s finished. Very WEIRD.
16. Pattison!!! I know, I know its all been said but where in the hell is he??? Why was he left out?   He''s all over the renewal print, with his hero goal against the scum. IS HE THE MISSING LINK THAT COULD KEEP US UP? I think he is. Straight swap, Patty for Fotheringham! He should be at least on the bench!!! We moan about loan players yet one player we own and he''s not even in the team!   Cheers All. (If we lose Pattison in the summer because he is out of favour then thats nearlky as bad as losing Hughes and Hucks!)
17.

Whatever happened to the attitude "support your team through thick and thin" Your a laughable fan
Some of us have been supporting our team through thick and thin for the past 30 years my friend and we''re pissed off and have every right to be so!!!!!!!!!!!!
I''ve been supporting for 20 years but still, you dont just "give up" on your fav team just because they are doing bad!
Sorry mate, but like others I have had enough of this board of late, I didn''t mind Roeder at first thought it was a good appointment, but having met Doncaster for 10 mins and having seen the way I believe we were miss lead about the new manager interviews etc I have had about all I can take. Game after games is the same, no matter who is in charge. Each manager liking there own players and clearly not playing his best squad, (wheres Pattison gone, he''s not even on loan!) I only want the best for the club , but £370 is too much too pay for another season of this rubbish, I love City and will always look for the result, come to the odd game and listen on the radio but for now I have had enough. I have a 2 year old daughter, and wife on part time money, other money troubles, that NCFC come lower in my rankings of important things to spend the cash on. Its not that I don''t care, I just feel its time for a big change to happen, and I feel that its only going to take league 1 and a take over for this to happen. I''m starting to think that a lot of the team know this as well, and its spreading like a rash. Cheers
18. 15 Doncaster 32 -9 40 16 Blackpool 32 -9 38 17 Derby 30 -8 35 18 Barnsley 31 -11 35 19 Plymouth 33 -13 35 20 Nottm Forest 32 -11 34 21 Watford 31 -9 33 22 Norwich 33 -9 32 23 Southampton 32 -21 28 24 Charlton 32 -21 25 Started to type out some text but then deleted it. Whats the point, I think we all know the sh*t we are in. How come other teams tonight can win their games!!! Watford, Barnsley, Doncaster. The Doncaster are after a play-off spot now!!! utter disgrace!!! 90% not getting a season ticket renewal now!   Cheers all
19. Ok, so some of us like Pattison and some of us hate him ...   BUT why is he really not even in the squad ????? Forgetting the booze and pie answers, does anyone have a slight idea or rumour?
20. Pattison is a Class player, always has been, ok so he has his off days, but what player doesn''t? His pluses outweigh his negatives, by a long way. Also he''s not on loan and I believe gives a sh*t about NCFC. Come on Gunn Play the man, who is playing better at the moment? Nobody!!! Cheers All
21. Didn''t realise that Clingan was out today as well with an injury.   Yet still no pattison! I think Pattison must have said something about Roeder going to Gunn or similar/ or Gunn and the Staff still hold ''some sort'' of grudge or morale issue for the drink driving episode. Remember that Pattison came from Newcastle and roeder new the player well. WHY else would you not play a player who scored against the scum? An attacking midfielder? He not for sale? Hes not injured? Yet with players short he''s not even on the bench. Very Very Weird???? Cheers All
22. Please don''t tell me Patty didn''t play today again!!!! Was he on the bench? Attacking midfielder better than Fozzy. Is this a Gunn Anti Roeder moment! if it is then he is a idiot! Cheers All
23. Hi All 28 days to go was my last post. I was 70/30 against a new season ticket due to the board etc ... (gave my reason s back then.) Now with 14 days left until the I and many others have to make up there mind or face another £70 before April 13th for the price of a season ticket. Leave it until May and its nearlt £500!!! robbing git! Anyway with todays result and the other teams having games in hand it looks like the team is making my mind up for me. 15% off for league one is not enough if we go down it should be half price! Lets hope we get the 6 wins we need! if not I fear for the club and administration! COME ON CITY WAKE UP! FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE, WHY ARE WE PLAYING SO POORLY? Anyway ... as before time will tell.   change we must, or die we will!!! cheers all
24.
The main point of the posting is correct. The more we concentrate on that awful referee, the more we fail to realise the shortcomings of the team. In the first half, we were totally outplayed. In the second half, we did have a good deal of possession, but we were invariably restricted to long shots from outside the box. Bristol City were deserved winners. They played neat and very controlled football, also the manager was very aware of how to beat Norwich. He had identified our gross weaknesses on the left: Drury lacking in pace and very often completely out of position and with no defensive support from Hoolihan, therefore just play everything down the right to expose Norwich''s left. The second point: someone said we had a lot of possession in the second half, almost as if we therefore deserved something out of the game. Bristol''s tactics in the second half were very clear and simple: allow Norwich possession, don''t wear yourselves out, just sit back and watch Norwich pass the ball aimlessly along the back four, then watch Norwich make a very laboured attempt to move forward, then just be patient and wait for them to lose the ball by a careless pass or a cross that the defence will have no problems dealing with or an off-target long shot, then just wait for the panic when a counter-attack is launched. The longer the game went on, the more obvious it was that Norwich were not going to score again because they had no idea of how to penetrate the Bristol defence. Bristol''s task was made even easier when the only two players who showed any idea of how to play winning football were substituted. We mostly looked like a relegation side and I think that we have to rely on another team having a disastrous run rather than salvation through our own merits. Although we had a completely different managerial and coching team, did anyone really see any difference from the Roeder style of losing football?
This reply is spot on, we are simply not good enough! And where is Pattison? Please don''t tell me that because Roeder signed him hes not playing!!! I know he would have done better than some of the players on Saturday!! two points from the drop with other teams with 2 games in hand, we are in big trouble, so like someone else states, lets not except this ''they weren''t that bad'' they lost! Final. the end?
25.
Completely disagree. Considering we had ten men for the entire second half, I thought we did okay against one of the form sides of the Championship at the minute. Until our equaliser, I thought we weren''t great. Our midfield allowed themselves to be bossed around by a very competant Bristol midfield and on occasion I thought we tried to do too much. But I think once Grounds got the equaliser we sharpened up and looked the better team until the penalty. In the second half, considering we had 10 men to their 11, we played some decent possession football. Koi says we didn''t know what to do with it in the final third. I disagree, our problem was simply we had ten men trying to find a way through their eleven. Yes, we were lucky and Bristol missed a host of chances. Yes, I thought the defence could have done better at times. But at the end of the day, we didn''t conceed a third and should have had a penalty. No question. I personally thought we didn''t do too badly. Not our best performance by any means. But not our worst either.
Sorry mate your wrong, we still look the same old same old rubbish. How many times do our players like croft and hoolihan have to get past 3 defenders! Why can''t we play like a team more and support the attackers? Dury and hucks always had a doulble act. yet Ozzy couldn''t be bothered to assist croft and Hoolihan had lots of the ball only to lose out becaus enobody helped him out. Its like playing tennis, doing a drop shot and thinking yes I''ve won that point and forgeting that the other player has just hit it back to win the point, They all ball watch and don''t join in. My point is that in the last 3 seasons the general play is the same, we need to play more as a team and not as ... give it to croft or hoolihan beacuse they are the only people who attack. We had all of that with just hucks! we are simply not good enough  unless we change the way our team plays together.
